Amazing ambience, food was served very fast.
Really nice staff, very accommodating to needs but took a while. Simple and delicious raindrop cake. Large vats of ale brewed on site which is very cool, pretty reasonable prices given locale
Very interesting experience with a long listed gyoza ranges providing so many flavors that I never expected before. And so surprised that the cheese burger gyoza tastes exactly like Mecca’s cheese burger hhhh. Their craft beers are outstanding and make sure you tried the Pocky Porter which includes a pretzel flavor!!! So good! Also good vibes here for a young squad night catch-up.
Amazing. Good food, so cheap! We fed four of us WITH drinks and it was around $150. The food was great and so was the service. The only complaint I had was the bathrooms, there was no way for the line to be organised, and it would be much better off if they were all unisex.
Actual rating 3.5/5
Food was quite nice but small in portion and expensive. (For those wondering, the cheeseburger dumplings did legitimately taste like cheeseburgers).
Service to get a table was slow, despite there being many empty spots and then the staff member called us “Weird” when he sat us at the bar tables and we decided to sit next to each other (party of two).
Awesome venue, awesome drinks, incredible food with modern twists. Service can be slow, but forgiven because of their courtesy and they can be understandably busy. Show your friends this place they’ll love it.
Fantastic location for a great venue serving up delicious gyoza and craft beers! We visited during lunch service I a weekend and tried many dishes, everything came out quickly and tasted great. Great flavours in all the gyoza and putting a creative spin on a traditional dish was great to see, in particular the cheeseburger gyoza. On weekends you can enjoy their souffle pancakes which I highly recommend, only available between 11 and 3pm
Very yummy. We ordered duck gyoza, octopus ball gyoza, and open gyoza. We loved the open one most. Very yummy and nice but 3 dumpling one dish is not enough. The dessert matcha kit Kat dumpling are surprisingly nice! Must try!
I dined here for a team lunch during the week using a 50% The Fork deal. Between us we shared an array of gyoza off the menu including prawn and pork, duck, chicken, tatoyaki and mozzarella. Unfortunately the cheeseburger dumplings were sold out when we chose to dine. The dumplings were all flavoursome but served in an odd number making it a bit tricky to split. We also had the chicken karaage which was super crunchy and tender. Lastly we had the foot long fries. They were crunchy with a nice sauce on top. Overall I thought it was a great feed but would recommend this place more for casual dining or a team events as the menu is designed to share.
This is a pretty good and spacious restaurant for drinks and Japanese dumplings. I like the grilled dumplings the best. The pork and pork & prawn ones are my favourites. The cheeseburger one was interesting but still tasted okay! Definitely get the foot long fries which were really good though they could do with more sauce.
On the weekends, they have soufflé pancakes and the matcha one was my favourite. The pancakes were quite huge and slightly dense but still enjoyable.

Very tasty food with unique and interesting flavours, the atmosphere is fun. Quite pricey but there is a deal where you can get $10 off if you download the app for the first time.
The poached duck gyoza in spicy vinegar was not spicy but it tasted ok. The cheeseburger gyoza which I highly recommend, really does taste like a cheeseburger. Lemongrass chicken grilled was also very tasty. Open gyoza with pork belly tasted ok, it was a bit of a let down and you only get 3 for like $14.
Watermelon sour had the artificial watermelon taste. I'm not a fan but my boyfriend enjoyed it. The watermelon xpa was good apparently.
I want to go back and have pancakes since it is only available on weekends.
Boyfriend's review: mango beer was pretty tasty.
I finally tried the hamburger gyozas because it was in a convenient location. Great creativity. A bit noisy but I guess it’s because it is a beer stadium.
Cute and funky Japanese dumpling place with their own creative gyoza menu and house brewed beer. Tried the traditional pork gyoza, duck gyoza and even takoyaki gyoza- they all very amazing! Will definitely come back for the beer again. Good place to have bunches of small food &beer - just chilling with your friends.
The overall experience was excellent from the food we ordered which was tasty and unique to the excellent service we received after foolishly making a booking in QLD by mistake. We had cheeseburger , lemongrass chicken, octopus and veggie grilled dumplings. Foot long fries, chicken wings, adegdashi tofu and the cream cheese pearl soufflé pancakes. Tasted a few beers but decided on ciders which were yum and more to our taste personally. Looking forward to return thanks for having us.
Very spacious, an excellent place for casual drinks and Japanese tapas. The gyoza range was unique and interesting but don’t expect it to be brilliant. We ordered the cheese burger (must try this), duck, pork and takoyaki gyozas. The long fries were quite bland, needed a little more salt to it but had a different texture to your usual fries, it was more starchy. The savoury dishes were cold once they were served to us. However, the soufflé pancakes were the highlights here. I‘d pick the cream cheese flavour over the matcha but the pearls were really undercooked. Staff were so friendly and we were able to get 25% off with 4 people if it’s your birthday month. Would come back for the pancakes, be sure to book in advance on Sat/Sun from 11am-3pm.
Food was enjoyable and service was good.
Harajuku Gyoza Beer Stadium serves dumplings and izakaya-style side dishes. They also serve Japanese craft beer with some Japanese style beers brewed onsite in 4 huge 1200L tanks under the guidance of Yoyogi Japanese Craft Beer which can be seen at the entrance. There is ample seating inside and outside the restaurant. Child friendly.
We only decided to have lunch here as my husbands friend mentioned that the souffle pancakes were worth trying, we just had to make a booking for the pancakes as it is made fresh to order.
When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff. We were seated promptly with cute animated coloured plastic plates. My husband had preordered all 3 souffles, cheese, creme brulee, and Matcha. We also ordered Cheeseburger Gyoza, grilled Pork Gyoza, Duck Gyoza poached in Spicy Vinegar, Open Gyoza with Slow Cooked Pork Belly, Apple, Pickled Ginger on Crispy Gyoza Skin, Slow Cooked Pork Belly Kakuni, One Foot Long Fries, Agedashi Tofu, Tebasaki Peppered Chicken Wings, and Tan Tan Mein Spicy Pork Noodles. We also ordered for dessert, Salted Caramel Gyoza and Matcha Kit Kat Gyoza with Green Tea Ice Cream. We didn't realize how much food we ordered as the food came out so quick that we had trouble finding space on the table to accommodate all of the dishes. My eyes were definitely doing the ordering as we were full to the brim with leftovers when we finished. The food was satisfyingly good.
The souffles were soft and light as air. It wasn't very sweet but very moreish. Because they were a large serving, we had to finish them last because when we made the booking, it was the time that they were cooking the souffles and the first dishes to arrive. The cheese souffle came with black pearl balls, a suprising yet yummy combination of textures. The creme brule souffle had a nice thin hard sugar layer, it had a nice crunch. The Matcha souffle came with red beans and a scoop of Matcha ice cream. Although I am a massive fan of Matcha, the cheese souffle was hands down my favourite out of the three. If I had a second stomach, I would have easily polished the plate.
The Cheeseburger gyozas tasted so similar to the actual burger. It was awesome! Crispy on the outside and packed with flavour both on the inside and outside. This is definitely a family favorite of ours.
The grilled Pork Gyozas were tasty and grilled just right, no dry end bits. It tasted better when dipped in vinegar, soy, and chilli.
The Duck Gyoza in Spicy Vinegar was good. It wasn't very spicy - I would have preferred it to be more spicy. It had a nice balance of sweet, salty, spicy, and sour.
The Open Gyoza with Slow Cooked Pork Belly, Apple, Pickled Ginger on Crispy Gyozas was a let down. It was hard to eat and the gyoza skin wasn't very nice, I didn't like the texture of it. We ended up just eating the topping. The pork belly was however soft and had nice flavours. The apple and ginger was fresh and gave it a refreshing taste.
The Pork Belly Kakuni is another family favorite. Big cuts of melt in your mouth pork packed with yummy flavors. There were however some firm pieces but not enough to spoil the dish.
The One Foot Long Fries were for the kids and a novelty. They were long! Crispy and golden with ? mayonnaise on top. These were okay.
The Agedashi tofu was good. Silky smooth on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The sauce was nice, not too salty. Definitely will have again.
The peppered chicken wings were not spicy. They were crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. It had nice flavours. Shame they were a bit small.
The Tan Tan Mein Spicy Pork Noodles was okay. It was slightly spicy but my noodles were a bit soft. It had a nice rich soup base but no wow factor for me.
We were so disappointed with the dessert gyozas. They tasted so wrong. It was a mushy and grainy filling with an odd tasting dry gyoza skin. Definitely won't be ordering these again.
Verdict: Overall, the food was quick and packed with well balanced flavours. Definitely will be back for the Cheeseburger Gyozas and Pork Belly Kakuni. Loved the table buzzer when ordering. Staff seemed friendly.
This place was packed on Sunday noon and we struggled to find a spot. Service was bit slow but soon order started flowing, I was totally amazed by their gyoza’s. Making your own dipping sauce adds to the experience. Tried many types and all are spot-on.
Coming to foot long fries, they were unique and crunchy.
Love to go again.
We were catching up with a friend for dinner and he loves dumpling so we decided to check this place out. I like the spacious restaurant and they have upstairs seating area as well.
We made it just before happy hour finished (3-6pm) and started off with their long chips which were moreish! I’m not really into thin chips but these with the mayo was good. We then tried their pork gyoza (both poached and grilled) then their duck but then tried their fusion mozzarella and cheeseburger gyozas. Their cheeseburger one was my husbands favourite and it definitely does remind me of the maccas burger. I needed some greens so ordered their sesame salad which was cabbage plus sesame dressing on top.
We also tried their pork belly which was so soft and tender and pork belly tacos which were also tasty.
I was so full but since we were here, we had to order something from their dessert menu. So my husband asked the staff what was popular and she said their Nutella gyoza and their rainbow drop which my friend went for but it wasn’t to his taste.
They have a good range of Japanese whisky and beer and it’s definitely worth trying.
Staff are very friendly as well.
Visited Harajuku Gyoza Beer Stadium for the first time today! We were running late and called to let staff know - we had a 11am reservation - and they were very accomodating for us! Every saturday and sunday 11am-3pm (for a limited time) they serve the special japanese soufflé pancakes and so we came specifically for them. (Heads up they will call within an hour before your reservation to ask if you will be having the pancakes as they only serve a limited amount which need to be ordered in advance).
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, making sure to check up on us often while we dined. There are buzzers to call staff as I imagine it can get very busy, however, i found they rarely needed to be used as staff were very alert to if you needed anything. Service was overall amazing 👌🏻
We tried 2 of the 3 flavours - the cream cheese and brown sugar pearl soufflé pancakes and the creme brulee pancakes. Now I’ve never tried the original fluffy pancakes in japan, however, these were delightfully fluffy and soft, as well as jiggled if shaked. The cream cheese one was by far my favourite as it was a little like having milk tea in pancake form and was perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness. The creme brulee one was really good but it was very sweet as they do caramelise the top of the pancake so you need to crack it (like you do a normal creme brulee) before you can cut it. Overall I recommend both but the cream cheese was definitely my favourite.
We also ordered the pork gyoza afterwards to balance out all the sweetness we had consumed and they were wonderful, juicy and flavoursome!
Highly recommend dining and I also encourage getting their app as you can claim $10 credit off your order when you pay through it. The app is also their rewards system with points collected going towards other rewards!
Harajuku (a neighbourhood in Tokyo renowned for quirky Japanese youth culture), Gyoza (dumplings filled with meat or vegetables), beer (an alcoholic drink made from malted barley), and stadium (an arena with tiers of seats for spectators). Welcome to Harajuku Gyoza Beer Stadium (HGBS) in Darling Harbour and get ready for tons of fun.
Friday night, after having dinner in the area, we were looking for a dessert option. I immediately went into excitement mode when I saw the neon sign Harajuku Gyoza from afar. I was literally chanting "raindrop cake", raindrop cake", by the time we arrived at the entrance. The place was more like a bar than a Gyoza place, with big beer vat behind the bar as you walk in. Rowdy, people having a good time. The raindrop cakes were as good as I remembered from the noodle market (I prefer the original, but matcha was pretty good too). The matcha Kit Kat Gyoza with green tea ice cream was a good alternative for those keen a more substantial dessert choice.

If you are gyoza lover you need to try this Resto! I order the takoyaki gyoza, cheese gyoza and cheeseburger gyoza. Taste legit! Mindblowing so creative. How can they get this idea to make this menu and taste so good. Get the raindrop cake as well to clean your palate.
It was my second time to try. Good place for a drink. They have really nice food and services. If you are the dumpling lover definitely need to come here and try it because they have a lot of options to choose from. Also, the beer is different from another beer stadium. If you haven't any idea which beers is your favourite than talking with their staffs. They are so kindly and happy to recommend with you. Hope you have a great time there and love that place.
Tasty dumplings and a fun selection of Japanese beer makes for a really great time at Harajuku dumplings. I recommend trying some of the odd selections on the menu like 'Cheeseburger dumplings' , and 'mozarella dumplings'. I really enjoyed the duck dumplings poached in a spicy vinegar! For the beer and dumplings I give the place a 4, but unfortunately I didn't love the fried eggplant side that we ordered. I'm definitely keen to try more next time!
delicious gyoza. pork, duck, chicken, beef. you name it, they have everything even for vegetarian. and also don't forget to order one foot long fries with Yoyogi house made beer.
when you come here on your birthday, don't be surprised when the waiters surrounding you and sing Happy birthday so loudly until the whole restaurant can hear it.
Energising atmosphere. Went on a Friday night and there were lots of people there after work. The place was buzzing. This place specialises in gyoza and beer.
Start the night test testing at the bar then move onto a table. My fav is the cider with hibiscus and pineapple.
My favs for the night would be the takoyaki gyoza, cheesebuger gyoza (I wasn't going to get this however staff recommended it. I'm so glad I tried it. It actually tastes like a cheeseburger but without the bun. I actually prefer this version), cucumber salad and the long fries.
Awesome experience on their opening night. Fabulous food, we tried the pork, duck, cheeseburger & mozzarella versions with the white cabbage salad & edamame. We had recently been to Japan and were keen to have some of that experience, which we definitely received. Surprisingly the mozzarella gyoza with it's yummy sauce was one of our favourites. We also had the raindrop cake and both types of dessert gyozas. I wasn't that fussed about the raindrop (subtle flavours), it certainly is an experience though. Will definitely will be back for the Nutella & salted caramel gyozas! Staff were passionate, helpful & friendly. We can't wait to be back!
