It was quite a pain waiting for food to come as we went during off peak. Can't deny this restaurant has a nice decor but from other reviews it seems like a filthy place to dine, I reckon that's accurate after a visit. Service from staff was mehhhhh... Food was mehhh. Braised duck was great with our beers but the bamboo shoot was pretty salty and one dimensional. Be warned that most dishes are spicy even though not marked as such on the menu.
Found cockroach in the meal. Ask for full refund. They only offer refund for one dish and voucher for future use. Do you think a voucher is the solution to such serious food safety issue??? Please AVOID.
Just had takeaway from them 30mins ago,and had a cockroach inside. contacted them,they offer only one dish refund with no sorry.
If you want service and a great experience don't come to this restaurant... it was absolutely terrible and disorganised. We had to forcefully asked to get service and waited 30 minutes for a drink. No water provided and staff were not pleasant. In their defence they only had 3 people on the floor...
I just love this restaurant. I love the Hunan way of cooking food. The eggplant dish needs to return to the menu and I wouldn't order the yabbies again (yabbies need gentle cooking and these were a little over done) tofu dish broth delightful. Go to Little Hunan. Go. Eat. Enjoy
Food was pretty good. However, the chicken we ordered had a few too many bone shards for my liking. Table service was reasonable but pretty light.
I faced a dilemma over the weekend when the heavens decided to pour all the rain it accumulated down in Sydney. That is to cancel or soldier on and enjoy a Little Hunan feast at Haymarket. I decided to go, obviously. Is this feast worth braving the storm? Hell yes!!! I would do it again. I love th
