Great little hidden gem in the heart of Pyrmont. In and out in quick time with great dishes that are sure to make you want to come back. Best thing about it is the prices are cheap in comparison to other more fancy Thai places
Highly recommend the chicken labour fried rice. Very consistent preparation, nice little place to bring a friend to, great for when you're really hungry.
Visited on Friend's bday
6 of us paid $30 each
Meal was okay
and staffs were nice
enjoyed watching Thai boxing game while i wait for my meal
We ate dinner last night at Wok Station, sitting at a table on the street to enjoy the beautiful evening. The staff are friendly and attentive. Ordering the beautiful ChaiangMai Seafood, Panang Chicken Curry and Dim Sim. The Seafood Chiangmai stole the show. Normally when ordering seafood stir fry from Thai Restaurants, you're severed a small amount of fish and prawns. Wok Station served the dish with large fish pieces, squid and mussels! Yum!!!
Had a tasty dinner here before a show at the Star - yummy entrees and main, we had the Australian Pad Thai, was slightly too much sauce for me but my companion loved it - I'd happily order the same again. Waiter was helpful and polite, and atmosphere is pleasant with an urban feel. Everything spotlessly clean, I'd recommend.
We had lunch here today 27/08/2015, it's not that busy but the service was really fast. The ambiance has that urban / rustic style. The server automatically handed us water to drink and was very accomodating and took our orders when we were ready.
I had the Seafood Pad Sew (not sure if I can recall the name correctly) but it was the thick noodles in sweet soysauce with seafood in it for $12.90. I'd say it was actually delish and the taste was very close to may Filipino palate.
The only downside that I can see is that they have a minimum purchase if you're using your card to pay... but if that's the case there's a commonwealth bank right across the street.
For Thai Food Lovers. I've been to Wok Station numerous times & I've never been disappointed. This place is affordable with great atmosphere & the food is just awesome!
I tried the Vegetarian Laksa this evening & I must admit, it looks "different" to the other laksa I've seen before, but nevertheless, it still tasted delicious!
I strongly recommend Wok Station especially on a summer day, dining outdoors with BYO wine.
Well worth visiting for their massaman curry and Australian pad Thai! We were very impressed! Reasonably priced. Large serves. Would recommend going with a large group so you can share the meals :) very fast service too!
Nice Thai. The tom yum soup is definitely above average, not the best I have ever had but very enjoyable!
My boyfriend found the laksa to be a little unusual. I recall the curry puffs were really yummy.
This place has a nice atmosphere. I would definitely go back!
We REALLY like it. We live in Pyrmont for 2years now, and eat there every Friday evening with friends since last year. It's always great, the menu is varied, fresh and delicious and the staff is absolutely friendly! The ambiance and the environment are very nice and cosy. I love it
We've lived in Pyrmont for 2 years and wok station has always been our favourite ! Absolutely love it - We go or get take-away regularly . Food is always delicious , fresh and very reasonably priced.
Loved it. Sadly I was picking up take away. The atmosphere was so good I want to go back and eat there. The service was lovely. The prices are very decent for the quality of the food. The place was full and everyone looked happy. Even the kitchen looked happy and enthusiastic. Yum.
Salmon Queen. Hhmm...very recommended for salmon lovers, they cooked the salmon very tasty! I always thought of having locals here when running out of idea, their entree's are also good, we almost had prawn crackers with peanut sauce as a start! yummo!!
Love the dishes they have. The food is always fresh and tasty. Great place for lunch. The seating is fairly casual so not my first choice for dinner
Friendly service, always reliably delicious. Eat here at least once a week with friends and can't miss the 'Labor' if you like chili.
Good Thai. Reliable and fairly consistant food. Used to come here a lot when we were locals. Choo Chee Salmon was my favourite until it progressively tranformed from an exceptional dish to something rather ordinary. A couple of times it didn't even appear!
Yet, it's still a nice Thai option for Pyrmont locals.
My partner and I had dinner here last night it was nothing short of amazing she had the basil chicken and chilli with a glass of Pino Grigo and I had the crispy pork belly Pad Thai with a crown larger the chicken was perfectly cooked and had plenty of spice and the Pad Thai was amazing one of the best I've ever eaten in Australia and the bill was a very reasonable $56 I highly recommend coming plus the service is great and it has a nice atmosphere
We booked this little Thai restaurant for a pre theatre dinner when most of the restaurants closer to Lyric Theatre were booked out. While more a cozy cafe style place the food was amazing and I would definitely go back. It was only a 7 minute walk to the theatre. Highly recommend for great Thai food and it is byo. 🥰 no
The speed at which the food came out was lightning fast and surprisingly didn't hinder the taste at all.
Wok station is a typical corner store, no nonsense local Thai restaurant. The prices are great, the taste is decent and the service, expectedly non existent.
My pad see eew was delicious if not a little too oily but I was famished and it came out almost 5 mins after I ordered.
My partners in crime weren't too impressed by what they ordered but they can write their own reviews.
I simply love this Thai food place! my favorite is the hokkien noodle with duck! it's a must try!! then the panang curry with crispy pork belly yummy!
The customer service was great. The food was delicious and full of flavor. I can't wait to go back
