Not an amazing interior/setting, but not bad either either. Casual and comfortable.
Service was attentive and friendly. We were served by a new employee who barely spoke or understood English, but she was doing the best she can to serve us and we appreciated that.

Great service, child friendly staff. Bento boxes are quite big portions (box sets with udon and ice cream dessert). Been about 3 years since we've been here and the food quality has gone up, a bit more authentic Japanese now too. Will be back.
A nice Japanese restaurant in Pyrmont serving bento lunch boxes! The daily specials offer good value.
Returned to this place after a couple of months and I think the quality of their lunch bento box has deteriorated considerably and presentation was mediocre. A bit disappointed.

Quality sushi with good value sets. Sushi samurai has been producing consistently good sushi for reasonable prices for a long time and continues to do so.
Good food, neat space, very traditional Japanese feel. The service could do with some work, we ordered three salads and I confirmed three with the waiter and he brought only one. Double check your order and you'll be happy.
Place is a great place to eat, however I’ve noticed that the prices have gone up a fair bit, but it fair given the quality of the food.
