Their beef steak and squid ink pasta is recommended. The chicken roulette and sweet potato mash is also really good. Would recommend this couples, it has more of a romantic vibes.
We had the squid ink seafood spaghetti and the cavatelli. Service and food were absolutely amazing! The staff were wonderful and really accommodating :) Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again soon!
Absolutely recommend this place! Both food and service were amazing- loved sirloin steak the best!
Came here with the 50% The Fork Deal. Entrees were amazing. Tuna Tartare a tad too much sesame oil. Beef Carpaccio is AMAZING. Scallops with mushrooms were a bit of a weird combo... Mains were mediocre - Squid Ink Spaghetti was a little mushy and our New York Strip Steak was okay. I would definitely rate the service and atmosphere. Would come back for the Beef Carpaccio.
We found the service and food to be of a high standard. We had the tuna tartare and the beef carpaccio for entree and the lamb for the main. The lamb was cooked perfectly. This is a casual restaurant in a good location.
Xihuahua đ¶ found a great deal again! They are doing 50% off which made the meal great value. This is in fact a meal I would pay for full price in the future.
Before entree there was a fancy looking appetizer dish. Dollops of some puree on dried bread? It was wholesome tasting.
I would call the entree the murder of an octopus. It is ONE leg on black sauce and tip of broccolinis. I donât think the leg is fresh due to the mushiness. The sauce is fine!
Angus steak came with sautéed mushrooms and some exotic mash. Meat is so tender and paired perfectly with the mushroom sauce!
Spaghetti had lots of seafood in there. The sauce is complex. Delicious!
The affogato was quiet bitter, small sized for one person really. They had one waiter running around. He was fast, smooth and happy. Very lovely service! I really enjoyed the open style of the place too. Dining next to some quiet streets is fun!
Good atmosphere love the open indoor outdoor plan. The oysters were fresh had a lingering strong after taste but went great with their house red.
Pork belly was my favourite entree the salsa cutting with the caramel was delicious. Shiso scallops with eel sauce was also good. The steak was flavourful and tender but the pasta was pretty normal and average unfortunately.
The staff were lovely but some miscommunication and language barriers. Overall would recommend and would return
Hidden gem in a quiet area. Would recommend for a romantic dinner. Ordered kangaroo tartare, tuna tartare, and veal entree. Mains were the squid ink risotto and kangaroo. Highly recommend all entree dishes - especially the veal. Note: tartare is raw meat
Every dish was delicious. All meat was perfectly cooked. I really liked their interpretation of tuna tartare and beef carpaccio. Tried this place due to 50% off offer with thefork but definitely worth full price.
What an amazing little place . Every course was better than the next . Service was really good and great value for money . The food here is a lot better than a lot of pricier restaurants in Sydney.

We booked through Dimmi and received 50% off. You can also use your entertainment book here.
We tried the ocean trout and the home made ricotta as starters. The ocean trout with the avocado was very tasty and recommended, although the pickled ginger and lime flavor couldn't really be tasted. The ricotta was light, a little different to what was expected but overall interested when contrasted in texture with the accompanying asparagus.
For mains, we had two pasta - one with the seafood flavor and caviar, which way okay, but we didn't like it as much as the pasta with the truffle flavors. We also had the lamb which was very tender and beautifully accompanied by smoky eggplant.
Finally, we tried the strawberry mousse which was nice and light and very yummy. They also has a frozen pistachio meringue which tasted more like a semi fredo. The pistachio dish is less sweet so I'd recommend this if you don't like really sweet desserts.
It felt that the meat dishes were much better than the ones without meat. Dessert is defnitely worth trying.

One word that I can say about this bar is Amazing!!
Small gem in this area! From entree to dessert so creative!
The entree is 20layers of vegetables and taste so good !
The mains that I ordered angus steak and bottarga spagetti.. so delicious. Even the steak so soft and juicy. They cut it for us so we just can enjoyed without need to cut it again! The bottarga spagetti full and pack of flavour.
Dessert must try their frozen pistachio and hazelnut bomb !
The hazelnut bomb is full of flavour. Not like Nutella, but really packed of hazelnut from outside to inside.
Definitely come back. The service also really good. The ambience and music that they used really great!
Superb service and fresh oysters and tuna tartare. Prawns were a bit of a letdown though. Generous cut of barramundi but the sauce that came with it didnât match so well...think it was a potato purĂ©e with a strong mix of seasoning/spices on top. Overall fantastic value (dined on a 50% off Dimmi offer) for the quality of dishes served up! Nice intimate space too.
My new favourite place for a pimped up oyster fix. Tried the Sydney Rock Oysters from Merimbula with rice vinegar, lime & ginger ($4); tomato water jelly & wakame ($4.50); smoked avruga caviar, dill ($5). Oysters were shucked to order and was impressed with the good balance of flavour and texture of each kind while the oyster still remained the hero element. On the bill they were all charged $3.50 including the naturals so not quite sure what's happening with the pricing on the menu. Risotto with swiss brown mushrooms, rosemary and 24 months Parmesan ($20) was one of the specials of the day with a glass of wine or beer of the month. Great price considering a glass of wine will set you back $10 anyway. So refreshing to see a dish that hasn't resorted to be pimped up with edible flowers and micro herbs and is all about good flavour and technique. A tasty and well-cooked dish that's a good Winter warmer. Service was nice and friendly and the decor quite comfy. The owner has an obvious passion for old telephones which are displayed around the restaurant and bar, hence the name inspiration for the restaurant 'Contact'. For those who can bear the thought of leaving their phones off the dining table or simply need it charged there's charging lockers available so you can better appreciate the food and meaningful conversations with your dining guests. Definitely would be a challenge for any instagrammer and blogger to dine without taking a photo of their food though hehe.
An open breezy bar and dining space with Sydney Tower views and a two-for-one happy hour from 3pm to 6pm every day makes Contact a great place to catch up with friends over a beer, wine, cocktail or cider. An alluring menu means a return visit is in order.
CONTACT BAR AND KITCHEN is a Sydney venue that deserves more love. The food is next-level impressive, the cocktails had me swooning, and while the venue is not in the most suitable locations for itâs dining excellence the philosophy and antique phone collection more than compensate.
Full review is up :).
Location isnât bad but the food definitely makes up for the travel!!! Lovely staff, perfect place for a fancy breakfast! I would definitely recommend.
