Pho Pasteur has been around in Sydney for a very long time. For that reason, their flavours have good depth. Just like this Grilled Pork & Seafood Spring Rolls Vermicelli Noodle Salad. I like the aroma from the grilled pork, and all the ingredients come together very well. I give this place 4 bears

This place looked authentic and had pretty menu so we headed in. The old fave of mine combination rice is very very nice! Lots of rice and comes with a hearty soup. Pork chop has been marinaded and taste tender. Vietnamese pancake was a novelty for me, being meat infused eggy pancake with bean sprouts and pork and shrimp in there. It needed sauce and some part of the pancake was floury and doughy. Not very well executed. Plus it looks like a giant taco so I ate it like a taco which got some looks from their friendly wait stuff. Grilled pork spring roll was very refreshing but I think the skin was a bit dry, meaning not very fresh.

Xihuahua 🐶 did not fancy it too much. I think we can have another go and try their huge pho and some eggplant pot.

It's pretty much the original Parramatta pho pasteur but without the original vibes. Food is good and comparable to pho pasteur Parramatta. Tea is nice, pho is nice, lots of fresh ingredients and fresh tasting beef.

I feel this is the best place for Vietnamese Pho. I can say it is No1 Phở in Sydney. You have to try it, believed me. They was renovated with very clean & fresh environment & much much better tastes food here. Thanks for the good food & friendly service.

Came back to this place again today. They changed to a new boss to make a positive change. They re-innovated the restaurant and this is an amazing change. It looks luxurious and comfortable. Each table is separated so the customers can enjoy their privacy. Staff are friendly, helpful and it was a quick service. From the last time I've been here, they have changed the menu with more dishes added in, but they still keep the flavour of their previous food. Highly recommend.

This is our regular pho resturant. The raw beef noodle soup and special beef noodle soup are our favourite. The beef meat ball taste wonderful.

My friend is a regular here, we were comparing our favourite pho places. This place was pretty good. The soup could've been hotter, and the workers could've done less screaming to each other. It was a little unsettling

Love the grilled pork with broken rice and pho noodle soup this shop. The taste above average. Pork was tendered and delicious.

Located in Chinatown and has been there for quite some time. The shop small but deep and busy. If you bring stroller you will have to put it outside the shop.
I suppose I don’t expect high standard of service in this kind of takeaway shop 😉.
Service: ok and food served quickly.

Price is affordable, average of $12.50

Been eat for number of years. Yummy.

This seems to be the best pho in Sydney CBD - the size is large, the prices quite reasonable and the broth is very worthwhile. The prices are such that only a large is better value. The decor is typical rustic Asian chic and the music is nostalgic vietnamese easy listening, the service fast and no-nonsense. It's really about the pho and even outdoes Pho Gia Hoi next door by a nose. Great for a winter's day when you want something hot and satisfying to eat.

Came here for lunch. Was great! We got the Vegetarian Spring Rolls and the Chicken Pho. The spring rolls were really crispy and delicious and the Pho was delicious, too! The service was nice and they happily kept bringing us more fresh herbs and things. The ambiance of the restaurant was decent - Very busy and lots of locals. All in all- a very good experience.

One of the best place to get pho in the city. The broth is super satisfying, especially on a cold winter day. The place could do with a refurbishment though, it hasn't changed since I was a kid! You kinda question how clean the cups and utensils are, but if you're Asian, then you will be well accustomed to it. Just grab a tissue and wipe the chopsticks or dip it in the free tea to wash it first.
Good hearty food with authentic flavours.

It has been here for years and it is still so busy every time I dined there! Unlike Gia Hoi restaurant it's never get renovated but yes unlike next door it is super delicious! Never disappoint me, broken rice pork chop always the winner for me and my friend loves Pho there. The customer service is a bit lacking but it feels just like in Vietnam except here you call them twice you will have what you ordered! :) highly recommended this restaurant!

Favourite place in the city for pho. Soup is flavoursome and beef tender. Price is slightly more expensive than the average bowl of pho.

Pho dac biet is my go to when I have pho, why? Because in addition to the rare beef slices, it also comes with beef tendons that have been cooked down until they’ve become gelatinous and chewy – I just love it because of the texture and it tastes like the broth its been swimming in. The broth is fabulously beefy, the noodles, slippery and the herbs provided are plentiful so you can adjust it to your liking. I prefer a heavy hand on the coriander and no bean sprouts (they’re just a watery, tasteless ultra boring vegetable) I heart pho so much even on warm days.

Kick arse Beef Pho,
Basic laminated tables, busy and sometimes brash service.
Tried the special Pho once which is Pho with some extra beef bits, I think it was stomach lining. Glad I tried it but will stick to normal Pho from now on.
Probably one of the best Pho joints in Sydney Chinatown.

No fuss service, authentic Vietnamese. Great for a quick and tasty lunch. I had a vegetarian dish and the fish sauce mixture was a perfect balance of sweet, tangy and salty. I would definitely visit again when in Sydney.

If you're after good pho in the city then this place will satisfy. It is packed with customers most of the time and if you dine in you can see why. They kept the feel of a dingy Vietnamese restaurant and don't seem to be wanting to change anytime soon. Sometimes I miss the food in Cabramatta and this place brings back those feelings. I have only come here and tried their Pho and I would recommend it. It is located on the busy George Street, just a stone throw away from the heart of Chinatown. I find this side of George Street has a bit of a dingy feel overall with pawn stores and porn stores everywhere... The service is questionable as they seem to always try and rush their customers through but the food and price is good and at the end of the day I never expect good service from these places anyways.

Very fast service and tasty food at a reasonable price - aided by being cash only -will go again -they also warned me about the tripe and tendon being part of the special beef pho - which although thankful for the warning I was happy to eat - not sure I would have tendon again - rice paper rolls were good

Pho Pasteur is one of the more famous chains of Pho in Sydney and I generally visit the Paramatta store quite often with a rare visit to the one in the CBD. I'd have to rate this as one of the best places for pho around the Chinatown area but I also love their rice dishes.

First up we order a serve of Seafood Spring Rolls ($10.00 for six). Before anything else arrives on the table a plate arrives bearing a tumble of lettuce leaves, mint and bean sprouts (that's it in the background of this shot). Moments later the super crispy spring rolls arrive - yum!

Spring rolls with steamed rice vermicelli noodles are a glorious compromise between deep-fried indulgence and the virtue of salad. You can order them in a bowl of vermicelli noodles, but I prefer the hands-on version, wrapping the spring roll in a lettuce leaf with a soft mat of vermicelli noodles and bright leaves of Vietnamese mint and purple shiso.

There are two entrees in Sydney which I believe I could possibly never get sick of ordering. One is the Prawn and Duck Pancakes I keep raving about at Phamish and the other is the Seafood Spring Rolls at Pasteur. I think it's the simplicity combined with

I love this place - Sublime!!!. I'm from Melbourne which has an oversupply of great places for Pho, so about a year ago whilst on holidays with my family we discovered Pasteur. I've been back just about every time I'm in Sydney for business. The Pho is sublime, the meat so thin and so tender it just melts in your mouth. And the all important soup base is excellent.

Some may be put off by the Laminex tables and rapid service/turn around, but this is not a place to linger, but a great place for benchmark Pho when time is short.

It’s the only Vietnamese shop I will go for my pho on my Monthly affair when I come to Sydney. The special beef pho is so delicious. Portion is huge, broth is sweet and yummy, the beef meat quality is so good. Goes so well with the chilly. Must come to try!

Don't make a mistake like I did. The large pho is actually good for two people. If you're by yourself, just order small, but it's only a dollar difference to make it large. Generous serving and the soup is real nice for the cold season. The porkchop is real tasty as well if you want extra meat. I'd go back here at anytime I'm craving pho if only I live close to it.

Pho Pasteur is my absolute FAVE restaurant in Sydney - it's my go-to any time of day! The owners are so friendly and absolutely lovely people, and service is always very quick. The portion sizes of the pho are also incredible - as someone who eats quite a lot, the large crispy chicken pho is enough to make me extremely satisfied for hours. Highly recommend, and this will always be my fave pho spot in CBD! Fave dish: Crispy chicken pho Fave entree: Prawn rice paper rolls

I had the pork with tomato rice, and it's so good. The pork is just a lil bit salty pork for me, but it was good. Crispy chicken and rolls were amazing. 👍🏻👍🏻
