We arrived at the restaurant at about 7pm, on a Saturday & without a booking and the three of us were seated inside after no longer than a five minute wait. I had the beef Ribs which were amazing. The marinade was great, the half rack was quite large, the dish included a HUGE side of chips and the meat was so well cooked it almost fell off the bone. The service was good, with the food coming out quite quickly & a staff member was even willing to take a photo for us when we asked. The only problem i did have was that it was a smidge too dark inside and it took a lil while for my lemon lime and bitters to come but overall i think it was great. Huge menu too
Thank you HBK for a lovely family dining experience. We really enjoyed ourselves with your great food and generous portions, attentive staff and service and the stunning views. Price was perfect.
Highly reccomend this place to anyone. Just as great as its neighbour nesdoor - Hurricane's Grill.
Came here as a family, got a lovely table booth with a nice view of the harbour. Ordered the seafood platter and a steak. Seafood platter came but minus the promised tuna steak. Reason for the 4 stars is the manner in which the complaint was dealt with by the supervisor in charge. Promptly offered us another order of grilled barramundi, extra drinks/chips and even gave us a discount on the meal at the end. Very professional and courteous. The food was also fresh, delicious and well prepared of course.
Was here recently on a team lunch with my work colleagues. The ambience is splendid being right next to Darling Harbour. We had an entree selection of delicious chicken wings glazed with BBQ sauce and some arancini balls. I had an excellent sirloin steak with creamy mash potatoes and a mushroom gravy. It was well cooked and juicy and tender and succulent! Good value for money and definitely recommended!!
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and drinks when asked anything. We opted for the beef ribs, these were huge! good amount of meat, however overpowered by a lot of sauce/basting (needs to be a litter touch). Cocktails were well presented and delicious. The views of darling harbour at night were magical, great spot even in winter there are heaters in the outdoor patio to keep you warm.
Food: 5/5 stars. We had their $20 lunch special which includes a main and drink. Burgers were amazing, juicy, thick, one of the best in the city, but a bit salty. Fish and chips were great, the fish was crispy with lots of fish in it. Steak was good , it was lean meat, just how I like it, came with tasty bbq sauce on the side. Side salad tasted good but a few pieces of lettuce in it were not fresh so I had to pick at it, so overall the salad was decent but not great, the salad dressing was a tasty vinaigrette.
Ambience: 5/5 stars. Superb view. Very relaxing to sit on shaded outdoor balcony with water view. Restaurant interior is beautiful and large. It can get cold on balcony so best time to come would be on a warm/hot day, unless u plan to sit inside the restaurant which is also beautiful. Awesome spot for people watching. casual vibe.
Service: (5/5 stars) good, average. Not amazing but no issues.
Toilets: none inside. But they have some clean public toilets outside that’s close by and still inside the shopping center on same floor level.
Conclusion: definitely coming back, esp for their burgers! Great place to bring my out of town visitors cuz it has a water view and nice relaxing feel.
We ordered their signature platters, and they have generous portions of everything! Everything was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, it was one wonderful experience!
Came here after a day out exploring Sydney. We had vouchers for a burger, chips and a drink so we ordered the beef burger with chips and some soft drink. The carbonating machine was not working so we could not get the soft drinks but the waitress was quick to serve us with alternative juices.
The meal was of a great portion. A generous serving of chips and the burger was a good size too. The beer battered chips were fresh and amazing. The burger was great too. Fresh ingredients, great complimenting flavours and not sloppy at all.
The view was amazing too! Definitely recommended.
Came here with a friend and we got a seat outside facing the harbour, was very nice and relaxing.
We got the king prawns for entree. It was smoky and flavourful.
I got a woodfire chinese burger. The soy pork belly and kimchi combo is surprisingly good. Friend’s chicken is also very yummy. I couldnt really taste the mustard though.
Chips are a bit cold, could be warmer.
Drink is delicious and nicely done. Price is reasonable and service is average.
Will consider coming again.

Come with my families from other country for dinner.. Hope want to try the Kangaroo steak But unfortunately They Don’t have it at the moment.. try their ribs and lamb and also lobster bun.. Also Dont forget the zuchini Flower :) good view and good price :)
Great menu with lots of selections and a great selection of lunch specials too. Well priced. Had the Chinese Burger with pork belly. Really great flavours!
Lovely experience, food was great and very friendly staff who make you feel so comfortable and welcomed! Rocked up to the harbour side mall looking for nice meal for date night and stubbled across this place. Thought it would be interesting trying something other than the usual crinitis or hurricanes! We ordered the lamb shank and a creamy chicken pasta as well as drinks. Tasted great and worth the price, not being too overpriced either! Would definitely love to go back.
the food is nice. Recommend the rib and wood fried barramundi. But the most wonderful thing here is the service. The manager helps us a lot in preparing our birthday surprise for our friend. All the service providers are so kind and humorous. The view is amazing as well. Sitting outside could get the view of both Westfield and darling harbour bridge. All in all, we do enjoy ourselves here.
Resaurant wasn't busy and we had an Awesome meal. Food was fantastic and view stunning. Need to make it clearer the cocktails on the happy hour menu. We got stung! But first clads menu and lovely service
Came here cos we couldn't get a table next door at Hurricane Grills, but turned out to be a lovely dining experience.
Staff were very friendly and service was very prompt. All meals were of decent portion size. For the location and the view, it is very reasonably priced. Our friends and family all enjoyed what they ordered. Even the kids meals were good sized and the mini burger is big enough for a big kid. The steak that I ordered to be cooked to medium was slightly overlooked but not too dry. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
Dinner and drinks with a view - this is a venue to sit back, sip and take in the atmosphere of Darling Harbour. When here a table outside is a must. This restaurant provides a great view over Darling Harbour, Pyrmont bridge and the city skyline. We dined on a Tuesday night and found ourselves relaxing with a deliciously fresh cocktail - the Lychee Flyover (chambord, pineapple and strawberry) and some crisp Pacifico beers.
For starters we had the scallops with quinoa and apple couscous and the duck spring rolls. The duck spring rolls were a standout - filled with snow peas, bean sprouts, ginger, garlic and flavoursome duck. Covered in a homemade pastry that gives them a homely crust. The pastry was deliciously puffed and crispy and went excellently with the plum hoisin sauce.
For mains we could not go past the rib & rib combo - ½ rack of pork ribs and a ½ rack of beef ribs woodfired and basted in five spice sauce. The ribs were juicy and melted off the bone. The steakhouse chips were chunky and softened by the rib sauce - delicious. We also tried the swordfish fettuccine with mushrooms, olives and semi dried tomatoes - however the ribs would be our recommendation.
After tackling the rib & rib combo we just couldn't fit dessert in but would like to come back to try the chocolate brûlée dome!
Harbour Bar Kitchen, located in the darling harbour side precinct. Indoor section and an outdoor balcony (with cover), perfect to sit alfresco and enjoy the sweeping views of sydney and our spot was right opposite the centre point tower. We sat outside and promptly were delivered menus. There's a bunch of burger and pasta specials on offer, but we decided to go for the duck spring rolls - white snow peas, bean sprouts, ginger, garlic and coriander, served with Hoi Sin sauce, these had a good amount of crunch and an extremely tasty filling. This came as a recommendation by the waitress. I was also keen for the wagyu bresaola with rocket and truffle parmesan. Extremely flavoursome and I enjoyed it a lot. Other choices on offer include zucchini fritters, scallops, tasting bruschetta or prawns. The menu then extends to garden options of a kale, quinoa or lamb salads and vegan plates are available too. For the mains there were lots of choices; from a hanging chicken skewer, an interesting sounding crocodile
burger. For today, we shared the ribs and ribs combo $55 with fries. Pork ribs and beef ribs - extremely large and super juicy with some great crunchy fries. This left us extremely satisfied and very full!
For a drink we got the strawberry daiquiri - a beautiful icy work of art, topped with strawberries, a really nice flavour too. This place has happy hour every day from 3-6 pm, with $5 coronas, house spirits and wine, $8 cocktails - that's a pretty good deal if you ask me. Staff were extremely nice and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Harbour Bar & Kitchen is the newest dining option in the ever-busy tourist hotspot of Darling Harbour. Located on the second floor of the Harbourside Shopping Centre, the venue (and particularly the balcony where we were seated) offers stunning views across the water of the city skyline. We dined in the early evening so the outlook was particularly spectacular and ever-changing as the meal went on – from blue skies to a picturesque sunset when the last of the day’s firey orange rays reflected from the office buildings opposite, to finally a darkness broken up by the twinkling illuminations of the harbour area. As far as views go, it is up there with the best Sydney has to offer.
One of the best Spanish restaurant we've dined so far! Food was well prepared, well cooked and good in portion. The staff got our drink order wrong but quickly bring up the correct one.
Had the grilled barramundi which was grilled to perfection. The fish had flavorful seasoning and was soft and juicy on the inside. The rice that accompanied the dish was slightly lacking in flavor. I felt that it might have been a bit short on salt to bring out the taste of the spices used. Only reason why I wouldn't rate this place higher is because some of the staff seemed a little grumpy and the food took a bit of time despite the restaurant being half empty. Maybe they have less chefs because there were less customers? Overall alright experience but staff need to improve on service! Only person who was all smiles was the one that took my order!

The Harbour Bar and Kitchen is Darling Harbour’s newest and brightest addition. Its located on level 2 of the Harbourside shopping centre, a great spot, especially if you like uninterrupted views of Sydney’s iconic skyline. The setup is chic and modern with lovely wooden furniture both inside and out. The bar stools are unique and the deck outside is so lovely, its perfect for al fresco dining.
A lovely place to dine out. Located on the upper floor of the Harbourside, this restaurant has expansive views out to Darling Harbour. The balcony seemed to lure people outside to dine to take in the views whereas other people chose the indoor seating for the air conditioning! We chose comfort over the unobstructed views.
The waitress serving us was lovely. She was on top of things and always available when needed. Only slip up was the one of the dishes brought out was the wrong ravioli but this was quickly rectified and the right dish made and brought out.
We had the Sharing Is Caring made up Red Velvet Pancakes, Seasonal Fruits & Greek Yoghurt, and basically the Rustic London Breakfast on a three tiered platter. It was beautifully presented. The fruits were arranged and cut really nicely. The pancakes were really fluffy though do need some more syrup to add more moisture to it. The savoury component was your standard fry up done well. The other dish we had was Bacon & Chorizo Ravioli. It was an unusual breakfast choice but it was executed well. The ravioli was filled with the bacon and chorizo and it was fried. Topped with gooey poached eggs, it was tasty.
Harbour Bar and Kitchen was a last minute option after our go-to was drowned in overly loud live music highly unsuitable for dinner. The fit-out at HBK is welcoming, with a luxe low-lit atmosphere without feeling over-the-top or impractical. Staff are show warmth and charm, and there is a relaxed (yet professional) vibe amongst them.
There is a real focus on grill / woodfired cooking across what is an large menu. Any protein one's heart could desire is available baked, charred, grilled, or smoked. That being said it is a heavy menu. Our party shone many smiles with our meals. The lamb in the smoked lamb salad was tender and flavoursome, although not so much smoke. The king prawns were delicious and colourful, although were soft in the joint so suspect a little under-cooked. The teriyaki burger was visually striking but again lacked any teriyaki. The pattie was also overcooked, although still tasty.

Sometimes I spend too much time in dingy dive bars drinking cocktails from used soup cans and mopping up fries loaded with cheese curds and bacon bits that I forget how the other half dine. You know, with natural lighting and a classic, seasonal menu. Harbour Bar and Grill is one such place that reminds me of the other way to dine. It's got water views, it's got wait-staff who smile; it's got a huge list of meaty options. Not to say it's boring. The menu is inventive and bold with a focus on smoked meats and a slight twist on some Aussie classics. I mean, where else can you get a crocodile burger? The Chargrilled Crocodile Burger ($24) isn’t a gimmick either, I’ve had a croc. pie in Darwin (definite gimmick) but here it’s cooked superbly with that wood-fired taste, smoked zucchini and beetroot relish - delicious. On the more delicate side is the Grilled Scallops ($21) – it’s like something you’d see at a wedding, served with quinoa and apple salad, and butternut squash puree. Darling Harbour just screams out for cocktails and the signature cocktail list here has...
Gorgeous restaurant with the most stunning view of darling harbour. The menu here is awesome and I love the vibe. The customer service is very attentive and parking is easy. I highly recommend the bacon and chorizo ravioli and the wood fired potato dish !
Nice place to dine. Great views from the balcony tables. Nice ambience inside. Friendly and helpful staff. Good menu options. Great tasting food. Not too pricey. Great place to eat if you are heading to a show or just want a nice meal out.
I've seen alot of people give this place bad reviews. I had a decent time. After seating us, the waitters didn't approach us for 25 minutes. Instead, we had to ask one of them to take our orders. However, the food was excellent, the staff seemed as if they were doing their best, and sincerely apologised about the wait. We ordered a chicken parmigiana and the braised beef ribs pasta. The portion sizes were great and the food was top notch! If you go and are not being served for a while, perhaps it may be in your best interest to talk to the waiter about it!
Had breakfast here. Nice, slightly elevated view of Darling Harbour if you sit outside. Eggs Benedict and vegetarian big breakfasts were eaten with nothing left on the plate! Coffee was good . Staff were welcoming, professional and efficient. Cozily decorated space with a warm ambiance. I would definitely return to check out the lunch/ dinner menu.
Great last night in Sydney, wonderful meal and at a good value price. The staff worked hard to look after us while we soaked up the lovely view of Darling Harbour at night. Will definitely come back when next in Sydney. Thank you Rakesh and your hard working team.
