Finally made it to Alberto’s Lounge and can’t wait to return. I love the retro Italian vibes, the service is impeccable and the food excellent. It’s seasonal Italian food made with good quality ingredients, the way Italian food should be made. The pastas were definitely a highlight. #albertoslounge

Love the place and the food. Good hearty Italian dishes served with good drinks in a cool ambiance inspired by retro design of the past.

Loved the ragu here! Yes, admittedly the servings were smaller than expected BUT the food quality was exceptional. Particularly loved the ragu!

We have the most fun exploring the affettti misti cured meat platter, a party plate of finely shaved mortadella and prosciutto di parma garnished with ribbons of pickled daikon and crunchy grissini sticks. The piave vecchio is crumbly like parmigiano reggiano but slightly sweet, an Italian cow's milk cheese that has a distinct nuttiness and crystalline texture. The long twists of spiced and dried pork loin are another revelation, like impossibly elegant pork jerky.

First impressions of the restaurant life is nice and cosy supported with good service. Generally love a good martini and the Gibson Martini ($22) using Beefeater London Dry Gin is nicely made with 2 tasty pops of pickled onion although I'd love for 3 considering the price. Drink coasters are noticeably cool with some lovely art. Bucatini all'Amatriciana ($26) is a very tasty dish and what it lacks in size it certainly makes up in flavour. There's a pleasant chilli hum and crispy jewels of fried guanciale pork jowl that are very welcomed. This house made pasta dish is purposely sized as an entree so you can enjoy ordering more so best not to count on this dish alone filling you up. Chocolate Cannoli ($8) has a nice thin crisp texture as hoped matched with good flavour. Apparently they're very proud of their house made gelato as well and I was very tempted by the panna cotta as well.

What a vibe. Alberto’s is an excellent restaurant serving modern Italian classics in a cozy and inviting space. I recommend a bit of everything. In classic casual fine dining fashion you should order a few starters, a few small plates, a few big and several glasses of wine (they have a delicious selection). The staff are very helpful and friendly. The space is cozy as mentioned so you do sit quite close to the table next to you but it feels intimate enough still be either romantic or private enough for a good time. This is a busy place for after work drinks and dinner, especially on a Friday night. Recommended to book in. I’ll be back! Thanks Alberto’s

Definitely one of the best restaurant vibes that I’ve experienced. Super cozy and intimate - great for a date night. Our kingfish, burrata and bread starters were amazing, and both pasta dishes were also delicious - though the quail was a personal favourite. Can’t wait to come back!

One of the most amazing Italian restaurants in Sydney. The squad ink prawn linguine had amazing garlicky flavours and packed with plump prawns - probably one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. The sardine pate was another highlights, was nice and creamy!

Little not so hidden gem with a warm ambiance and awesome food. A bit tight inside but service was fast and attentive. Couldn't fault the food so good! Highly recommend the focaccia and olive oil to start.

Delicious food, super friendly staff (I had accidentally left behind a bag and they ran all the way outside to return it to us), and cozy, quaint and romantic decor. We also ordered the special T-bone steak ($160) which was great to share. Our favourite was the pork belly w ricotta and sage rigatoni - the pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked and the flavours were gorgeous. Would definitely come back again.

Back to Alberto’s Lounge after 1 year with some friends who moved overseas and back in Sydney. Food and service still VERY GOOD as usual. 🤤 we all enjoyed it very much ! Alberto’s is also more than just a typical Italian restaurant, the menu always comes with some surprises, the vibes is enjoyable and with energy. The Burrata with quince makes a bit differences and very yummy with the focaccia. Linguine al Nero is al dente with good amount of sauce. Quali is a surprise too for main. We like the desserts the most, the panda cotta is silky and creamy milky texture, it is Devine !!!!
