Review Arthouse Kitchen - Sydney

I've just been here once and had the fish and chips with salad. The fish was fresh with the perfect amount of batter. Chips were nice and crispy without the old oily smell. The side salad was also great even though it was just a small side. I would definitely come here and eat again next time I'm in the area.

This was my go to for sustenance for the 2 years I was at uni next door. The food is consistently good, and the coffee sure hits the spot. All served with a generous helping of friendliness and charm. Because I ate here so often, I didn't take pictures of everything - however I've never had a bad meal here. The coffee and banana bread always hit the spot when I want a snack. For something more substantial, the pasta dishes, the paninis, the burgers, they're all great!

I know Massimo for few years now and I never had a chance to eat in his place! !!!Wow!!! What a plate of the day! Linguine alle Vongole 5 stars dish! 5 stars taste! 5 stars service! 5 stars price! Matched very well with a glass of Pinot Grigio called Little Vino from King Valley VIC It reminded my town in east cost in Italy Congratulation to the kitchen. I will be back!

Best cafe ever. Ham, cheese and tomato panino is a flavour experience that I will never forget. I lose sleep at night because it's all I can think about. I want it to be the last thing I eat before I die, and when I die, I want to be buried with one of them so I can eat it in the after life.

Been here 4 or 5 times now. Always great food, tasty and well presented. Staff are attentive and friendly. Great pizzas and love their chicken burger.

This is truely one of the best cafes I have ever been to in my life!! The service and the food are excellent and above any others I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere is amazing and staff are very friendly. This is most certainly my favourite place to go to and I would 100% recommend this place for everyone!!

Honestly can't flaw this place. I've been a regular for 3 years, getting coffee/food about twice a week, and nothing has ever gone wrong. Great food, reasonably priced, perfect coffee. Fast service, never have to flag someone down to fix something. Keep up the great work - it's perfect how it is.

Better than so many cafes around. Maybe a little pricey but good food, good coffee, great people and the best chocolate banana bread for miles!

Have been here due to the proximity to COFA as we attend a few shows at the university. The staff is wonderfully friendly and the coffee hits the spot just right. <br/>We came down a little later for lunch and the food is surprisingly good ! We ordered a ragu and a steak sandwich, both of which came in a generous portion. Definitely would come back again to try other parts of the menu!

We arrived in Sydney on 18 February and checked in to our Air BNB home. Much to our delight this charming, modern restaurant was literally two steps from our door. We fell in love with it immediately. My favorite dish is the Pasta Ragu. I've never had a pasta dish like it. I'm a huge beef eater and love short ribs. This dish is absolutely amazing. I have started eating it daily bud sadly we checkout tomorrow and today was my last day to have it! My partner loves the roast beef sandwich. We also had the chicken wrap, a crab linguini, and pollo panini. All fabulous and worth having. If you are in the area you must try it. The owner is amazing and I want to say he has shown us great hospitality to go along with the amazing food. Thank you so much!

Discovering a place with exceptional food and service is something that should be considered routine but sadly it's not. Fortunately this place is a diamond in the rough. The food (yes I've practically eaten the entire menu now) is amazing. It's quick service, decently priced meals that hit the spot and don't leave you feeling like you just had a bucket of greece. Favorite uni pass Time is to visit here with friends

Food always fresh and of excellent quality, great value and staff super friendly nothing is a trouble very accommodating. Great coffee. Would highly recommend and would rate it ten out of ten. Massimo the owner who is from Sicily brings some Sicilian flavours into some of the dishes

My favourite Cafe. The food is great. It's reasonably priced and the staff are soooooo lovely! About the coffee, I can just say it's FANTASTIC!!! Lovely blend and perfect temp.<br/>If you wanna understand what I'm talking about just try this place, I'm sure you can't stop coming back!!!!!

Mad Massimo ..... So gooood! I reckon when Massimo got angry, it must be like this color. However, the sweet taste is so good, combine with ginger and beet roots, it became special. Come and try this one, Massimo gonna not be angry again 😬<br/>

Great people the food is amazing. I eat there breakfast and lunch nearly everyday if they were open for dinner id be there too. I highly recomend this cafe you wont be dissapointed

I've been at ARTHOUSE KITCHEN more than a couple of times and you know what service is when your coffee is ready before you walk in the door. The boys here are all heart - they always say hi, bye and thank you and hand you your coffee with a smile, no matter how grumpy and sleep deprived you are. Even better (or is it?) they know coffee. <br/>The food is great and really tasty too.<br/>

Delicious big breakfast with sourdough toast , coffee is best , staff is amazing , and they got free wifi , quit and nice place to eat and spend time@ , good and comfortable for kids

Awesome food, awesome coffee and awesome people! These guys really know how to make you feel welcome! A great space to sit in, with heaps of natural light. The Wagyu Beef burger is a fav, great daily specials and a really well priced menu. Love this place!

Wonderfully smooth take away coffee that hits the spot. I come here every morning, not only because the coffee is fantastic, but the service is impeccable! These guys know how to run a cafe and have a fabulous positive energy. They also cater for gluten free diners (hooray!) with good quality gluten free substitutes in their breakfasts and pizzas and a great range of gf sweets. 5 stars!!!

The best coffee in Paddington by far! They have different grinders to accommodate for the air temperature and weather- they really make their coffee with love.  And whats even better- they remember your order if you're a regular.  Food is pretty good too- they're very happy to make substitutions.  All around great place!

I am all for giving praise when praise is due and this place is the absolute best - so much italian spunk and charm for one cafe! I go here everyday for my coffee (thanks Matteo). Even when I am running late and tempted to get a coffee from another place, I still hold out because I know that it won't be as good as the coffee that you will get here. They always remember everyones coffee too - amazing! but even then, my coffee is always the right temperature and super creamy (no bubbles on top ever and you can see how good it is by the way that the foam evenly sticks to the side of the cup when you drink it - yes, I am a coffee snob and will not go back to a cafe if they make bad coffee) Also, even when they are busy, the quality is always the same - unlike other coffee shops in the areas that rush orders through and even make you wait super long anyway. <br/><br/>Massimo the owner is one in a million - even if I am in the worst mood he always puts a smile on my face and he is like this with everyone! It really is like a big Italian family here and you always feel at home. <br/><br/>The food is really great quality as well - typical Italian quality! Prices are really reasonable for the area and I am always in a rush and it is super fast - even when the place is packed. Sandwiches are great but also they have other types of food like pizza, meat dishes, pasta, risotto, soup, breakfast - I like the scrambled eggs with avocado and smoked salmon on good italian sourdough toast! Also, their banana bread is good too if I am really in a rush. Actually, their bacon and egg roll is the best too - it was my unborn son Otto's number one craving for about two months! <br/><br/>Anyway, there is a reason why this place has so many regular customers, so I would definitely recommend it! I was waiting for a friend who as usual is always late, so I decided to grab a quick coffee while I waited. While sipping on my gorgeous latte I could not help but notice the aroma of the food which was coming out to their eagerly awaiting patrons.i quickly asked for a menu and scanned the wide variety of meals available, soon after my friend arrived and told her that they have gluten free pizza as she is gluten intolerant and a pizza fanatic. So the gluten pizza was ordered along with my chorizo risotto. Well I must say the risotto was to die for and my friend loved her pizza the best she's had , and that says a lot as she is so fussy and picky with her food. Anyway I was so Happy to have stumbled across this place the coffee great ,the food yum ,service friendly and prompt and inexpensive too. A must try place , needless to say I will be back for more . Keep up the good work , will tell all my shopaholic friends.
