My first visit for a few months. Something has changed(new owner?). The menu is more limited. The meals have lost their Greek authenticity and you now have to pay for sides as the meals are not generous. My flounder was nice but I missed the vegetables that used to come with the meal. The Greek salad side dish is quite expensive for what you get($15). I dined with three others and we all felt the same.

Very good food. Excellent moussaka. Service was good.
Only thing that would be a minor negative would be the lack of ambiance due to the sheer size of the heritage listed building.
The playing of hip hop music at 6pm probably doesn't help the "Greek" atmosphere.

Fine dinning at reasonable prices!
The minute you walk up to the entrance of this beautiful restaurant you feel like you are in another dimension . The atmosphere is warm and inviting yet there is still enough space to move around have an easy conversation (rather than being cramped in and feeling like you are sharing a table with strangers like most places nowadays ).
The service was prompt friendly and welcoming . We had the lamb casserole followed by scrumptious dessert . The portions were generous and good value for money. The meat was tender and melted in your mouth.
I really liked how we could choose how the main food was accompanied ie what vegetables we wanted or salad. Very Tasty ! We will be definitely be coming here again . HIGHLY RECOMMEND

TLDR: good food, old furnishings.
The room is big and spacious, but the furnishings (oh dear, the chairs...) are showing their age, which rather makes you feel like you're eating in an old hotel. The food is good, with a large menu full of all your Greek favourites. The service is a bit hit or miss, but the staff are not afraid to give you their recommendations. All in all this is place is okay. Not my favourite for a couples dinner, but a solid eat if you're with a group.

Really great authentic Greek food in the middle of Sydney's business district. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our meals were all fresh, tasty and timed well... the price was very reasonable - we'll be back!

Comprehensive menu of real Greek cuisine. This restaurant runs like a well oiled clock. Which serves fabulous food , large servings at moderate prices. Good wine list featuring some very fine Greek wines . Combined with efficient friendly staff , you will keep coming back . I have for 20 years .
