You can ask for vegan options, staff is well aware about it. They just may forget to adjust one of multiple ordered meals and add cow cottage cheese in it. Half of sauces are quite spicy. But in general its a good place.
We’ve dined here for the past ten years and the place has gone through a lot of changes - we’ve seen the restaurant change it’s decor, its dishes, and it has consistently improved. I really admire that about Maya’s - it never stops growing. It’s a wonderful place to eat some yummy vegetarian comfort
