Review Harris Miller - Sydney

The service here outstripped the food. They were just so accommodating. The vegetarian breakfast plate was okay - nothing was too wrong with it but nothing was great about it. The burger was a better choice by my friend. The coffee was served up as requested & not bitter.

Ordered take away for 4 people. The menu on maps was outdated so will post their latest menu. Staff where extremely accommodating and relaxed even if there was a queue. They offered off the menu meals. Dine-in guests looked casual and comfortable. Must go to place for breakfast.

Really warm and welcoming staff. Delicious tasty breakfast and coffee. Also tried the banana bread which was very nice too.

Super friendly staff They're more than happy to fulfill any special requests you have. Also a waiter replaced our serviettes midway through our meal after they had been used without asking. Goes to show that the staff are actively attentive. Delicious food Their beef burgers are amazing, made from patties from a great local butcher (Vic's) and they will cook it exactly how you like unlike most other places that basically only do beef burgers well done. Incredible coffee Australian coffee is known to be some of the best in the world, harris.miller coffee might just be the best in Australia Pictured burger is the breakfast, lunch and dinner burger, add fries, add sauce

I had the opportunity many times to have my daily espresso during public holiday period. The place from the inside might not be exciting BUT, these guys are super friendly and serve you with a wonderful spirit. Not to mention their coffee is awesome too! Thank you guys for working on public holidays! Really appreciate that

I’ve been coming here for a few years, it’s one of the best coffees in the area. They also do great food and the owners are very friendly.

What a great little cafe and such nice friendly staff. I'd just done a 74km bike ride and needed some sustenance. It was getting close to their closing time, but that did not phase them one little bit. All smiles and yes they could do me their brekkie burger with chips and a large skim cappucino. It came out really quickly and was first class. Bacon, egg and hash brown in the bun so nice. Excellent coffee. Go there ... you won't regret it!

It’s been a few years since I had tried this place (it was relatively new back then). Unfortunately, comparing to what it used to be from then and now the funky vibe along with super friendly service & awesome food has gone with the management who first opened. Corn fritters were more like pancakes mixed with corn, poached eggs were over cooked and needed that oozing yolk to tie all the flavours together & my friend’s eggs benedict had a sauce which tasted more like thousand island dressing instead of hollandaise sauce which was a bizzare thing to add onto eggs imo. Coffee wasn’t the best, neither was it bad. Service was friendly but with the other local places for breakfast/brunch I’d prefer to stick to those. Sorry guys!

Spontaneous visit to this little cafe in Pyrmont and it was rather nice. There was only one customer in there besides us so service was super fast on top of their friendliness. Prices are decent, however the chicken protein bowl could have contained more chicken as the name indicates that it is the main ingredient. Chicken was also a little on the dry side. All the other components were well done. My partners cheese burger was also average. Also might need a furniture change as the tables are stained.

Came across this little cafe around the corner. Good ambience but really slow service. Staff and service didn't seem much organised either. Food was ok.

I recently stumble upon Harris.miller Cafe for a 3 day business event. After a brief discussion with the owner (I believe), I was assured they were able to deliver my demand for 30+ guests. With this said, I was absolutely blown away over with the level of service I received by the people at Harris.miller Cafe. The food and dessert (over the course of 3 days) was better than initially described, especially the dietary requirements. I highly recommend them for any business catering services requirements, and will definitely be using them for my next event.

Nothing particularly noteworthy about Harris.miller but still a good solid cafe. Decent decor and fit out to relax in with in and outdoor seating. Elevated from street level adds to the ambience also althiugh we did find the music a little loud and intrusive at 7:30am. <br/>Coffee is Gyspy Expresso which is a solid drop and comes in one of the best looking takeaway cups around. <br/>Dish of choice was the French toast which was hybridised well and truly with fairyfloss and Gaytime icrecream fingers sliced lengthways. Huge portion too. Brioche I thought lacked flavour but certainly a great looking plate. Menu otherwise is pretty standard. <br/>Overall, a nice enough Cafe that for me just lacked a little that certain little something.

I ordered the lamb burger with a salad and an orange juice. The only thing that was any good was the orange juice. The salad was ok and the lamb rissole in the lamb burger was tasty but overall, the experience simply was not worth it. The settings of the restaurant is nice and the service staff are friendly enough but when you feel like you can make the food better yourself, you won't come back to that restaurant and that's how I feel. It was sadly completely underwhelming #whybeinthisbusiness.

Jan17 Ordered the Morning After and a long black, The soft bun was completely soaked with the sauces so couldn't really enjoy it like a burger but the coffee was good.

Very busy for Sunday brunch, but was lucky enough to get a table outside without having to wait. A few things probably added to the "busyness". Firstly the inside space is not that big (it was also very noisy with the noise trapped in the box cafe). There were also not many floor staff (I could see only 2 servicing the cafe, inside & outside (there was also a big queue to pay), which for us sitting outside meant difficult to get attention when you want to order. That aside, the staff were actually quite friendly. We ordered the French Toast, and the chef came out and offered us a new version he was working on with Golden Gaytime instead of banana & vanilla ice cream. Don't know what the original was like, but this new version was delicious! A little heavy without any fruit or tang to offset, the nuts did add a nice crunch, but if you have a sweet tooth & want a big eat, then this is perfect.

After seeing a mate visit @harris.miller.sydney I couldnt not go in and try their brekky menu.<br/><br/>'The morning After': double bacon, double egg, hash brown, BBQ sauce, cheddar, onion jam, grilled tomato squeezed on a soft milk bun 🍔<br/><br/>Also got the French toast which was divine. Perfectly soft and toasted - nice sweet mascarpone.<br/><br/>This is why brekky is so important. All the food groups. All the love. Wish I had've added beef lol. Next time 😉<br/>

Really delicious. Would definitely recommend! I had the breakfast burger and it was very tasty indeed! The chocolate milkshake was also a favourite!

Generously priced considering this cafe is located on Pyrmont. Ambience is inviting and fresh with the plants and modern decor. I recommend their French Toast or their burgers (they have a "morning after burger" - essentially a big breakfast between a milk bun if you've had a long night !
