As regulars here, we've seen this place go from good (when they first opened about a year ago) to excellent! Service has always been great, which is one of the key factors (besides the great food)!
We have many friends from interstate... Funnily enough, we seem to always take them for dinner at Old City! Goes to show how great the service, food and atmosphere is.

The food was really good - very authentic Palestinian cuisine. The owners were very friendly and the service was excellent. Prices are relatively good in relation to the portions. Would definitely head there again for dinner and drinks.
I bought a Groupon voucher and absolutely loved the food here. The potatoes were tasty, the dips were so delicious and fresh, the servings were so big that there was leftovers (we're big eaters). We'll definitely be back again!

Had lunch here last Monday (24 April 2017). We were hanging for a kebab in Newtown but couldn't find anywhere decent. Hidden down Missenden Road, just past the Marlborough Hotel we found this gem!! The place was empty but I suspect that was only due to the fact that it was 2:30pm and the day before a public holiday. Lovely decor and ambience. Staff were great. My friend ordered the $23, 3 skewer lunch special with a side of spiced potatoes and my partner and I shared a lamb skewer plate, spiced sausages and fried haloumi. Well, the food was absolutely amazing. Skewers were tender, flavoursome and large enough for one person especially with all the accompaniments that came with them. The spiced sausages were lovely, not too spicy but really tasty. Overall the food was fantastic. Even our friend who is quite hard to please as he works in a 2 Chef Hatted restaurant was very impressed. They have a full bar with is reasonably priced as well. Will definitely return here. Great for couples or groups like.
Really beautiful evening! Amazing food and drinks, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The platter for two was a great combination of dishes... and that lemon garlic chicken had me floored. That taste and aroma was magnificent!

Delicious food, we've been twice now and had the old city platter for two and the fattoush salad. Dips were delicious and salad was fresh with heaps of flavour. Great drinks list and service is top notch. Highly recommend!
Amazing Lebanese cuisine in a fresh cool environment. The bar is gorgeous and I love the idea of having a nice alcoholic beverage with my cuisine. The customer service is great here and the food is flavoursome and filling. I highly recommend the lamb shawarma and the knafeh.

Have visited for lunch on two occasions and really love it. The fattoush salad is very fresh and delicious. We also had falafel and the hummus with lamb mince. I love the complimentary crisps (baked pita breads I think) they provided too! The wine list is very reasonably priced, compared to most restaurants. I hope this place keeps going because I am going to be a regular.
Walked in on a monday night with no reservation and was greeted by a friendly waiter and got a table at ease. Met the owner William who looked after our cocktails as we waited for the food. Definitely worth it! The fatoush salad was so fresh and smelt amazing. It complimented the meat. Definitely recommend the platter for 2 if you are after a variety and was very happy with the price in comparison to other restaurants we have dined out. Will definitely be back.
New restaurant in Newtown where Mediterranean meets Middle Eastern cuisine. Great food, great cocktails and beautiful decor. Perfect place for a great night out with friends!
