First things first, I don't like their coffee; they use Vittoria and it is not my type but if you like the brand, then you will like it as they do their coffee right! We were there for breakfast and we were kind of happy, my mushroom/feta/spinach plate was tasty and my friend got a plate of poached egg, avo, hash and halloumi.. He ordered mushroom as side, for the price it was only 5-6 mushrooms so he wasn't happy. I was a bit upset with my portion too for the price I was paying for. But overall, it was ok.
Delightful cafe with friendly staff. Had a lovely lunch here, good peri peri burger with excellent chips. Coffee wasn't bad either. Defiantly recommend trying this place out
Victoria Street in Darlinghurst is a strange combination of businesses that have been there forever (hello Tropicana) and other storefronts that seem to be constantly changing. There are a few higher-end restaurants, quite a few casual places, and a number of in-between. It’s sensational for people watching.
The corn and dill pancakes were delicious 👌 a good variety of food on offer for those with the plainer tastebuds, and ones who love flavour. A little squishy with a bigger group, but highly recommend.
Dining at Tiger Bakers is like visiting that one very eccentric relative that we all have. - You know the one you haven't seen in awhile, but every time you see them you wonder why you don't visit more often - It's a breathe of free air.
Colourful flowers in old tin cans, wooden furniture throughout, comfy lounges with mismatched cushions and artwork on the ceiling! I love this place!
I had the Thai Beef Salad with Tomato, Coriander, mint and name dressing ($16) which tasted as fantastic as it looks - Served in under 15 minutes.
Throughly enjoyed my dining experience.
the hotcakes with berries were so good they have literally ruined any other pancakes for me
nothing will ever compare to them, and it sucks because i like all the way in Melbourne!

I came here for lunch while one a worktrip and when I got there I thought it was the absolutely adorable. The decor, the atmosphere, the staff, LOOOOOVE IT!! we got a table for two and it wasn’t super busy since it was 1pm on Wednesday. I ordered the gnocchi with braised lamb shoulder raguot, parsley and parmesan. It didn’t look big but my gosh, it was soooo filling (had to stop urge of unbuttoning my pants to appear professional haha). it was soooo amazing! The raguot was so tasty and full of flavour. The parmesan melted into the dish and it was Sooo cheesey!
i landed up to this place due to the lack of options open so early in the morning and i must say i was hesitant at first after reading a few not so good reviews. But do i regret going there? Absolutely not!
The service was fast and quick. The place seemed clean and hygienic. And most importantly their breakfast menu is simply amazing! It is tasty and super healthy at the same time. They have all my favorite dishes and so many more options to choose from. It is a perfect place to start your morning sitting out in the open(what i like) or with an indoor option available too .
I would suggest trying their Tigers breakfast w/ Eggs any style and also their Granola is great and they make it fresh. They also have Gluten free options for health freaks like me and wifi!
i think i would be going their often or maybe even every other morning at the affordable price who wants to cook right! When you have cheap healthy options available already.
The food is nice enough. What really makes this place attractive is the atmosphere. It really is a lovely cafe/bar.
Nothing was too much to ask. We dropped by for late lunch and I was so impressed by how great the customer service was. Food was good and came out pretty quickly. Chips were particularly good. Great experience.
Good coffee, great eggs and tasty sausages - all in it was a great breakfast!
Cute cafe with great food!
Good coffee, great people watching tables, and great fresh fruit with muesli
Great Cafe. Just had brekkie at tigerbakers reminds me of a Mebourne type cafe, very European. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is bohemian. I ordered the porridge with fruit a long black and enloyed both. The soundtrack was different I have never heard Pink Floyd "Wish you were Here" followed by Abba "Winner takes it all".
Good place to start a sunday in Sydney.
Mmmm. Exceptional breakfast. I had the corn and dill pancake and I'm probably going to dreaming about it forever. Service was good. My one gripe was that the waiter had originally put my order down as the hotcakes. They looked great when they arrived and I probably would have been happy with them but I REALLY wanted this pancake.
Favorite breakfast spot in Darlinghurst. Their new dinner menu is lots of fun too.
Great coffee. Great little cafe serving sensational coffee and food I'm yet to taste
Ah. Tigerbakers. My favourite breakfast/lunch cafe in Sydney! The staff at Tigerbakers are lovely and the food is lovelier! You haven't eaten breakfast until you've eaten at Tigerbakers! I have eaten everything on the menu and it is all delicious!!! Their shakes are phenomenal and their hot chocolate is quite possibly the best hot chocolate I have tasted ever! For me, that is a big statement as I only drink hot chocolates as far as hot drinks are concerned and consider myself to be a connoisseur. I could go on for ages about Tigerbakers but really what I need to say is - Go and try the food and drinks!!! You won't be disappointed!
Nice hipster place, the usual breakfast selection with top-notch ingredients in a cozy, characteristic environment and the staff was just lovely. I had eggs Benedict with Spanish dried ham and hollandaise, delicious and reasonably priced albeit a tad small of a serve. Anyway warmly recommended!
Was going to give it 4 stars, but to be honest I can't really think of anything they do less than ideally in my book. Definitely a really great all-day breakfast menu which I have ordered a few times at lunch time. Great coffee, good service and I like the personality and warmth of the place.
Just wish there were more of them, and ones that are more accessible so I can come more often :)
Just have to say I read the previous review and just wondered why the guy didn't pay cash there's no charge on that. Tigers is a great cafe and there's an ATM 2 doors down where you can withdraw cash and it costs 2 dollars if you don''t bank at CBA. Great breakfasts, Toby's coffee, fresh juices and tasty lunches. It has a bohemian chic ambience with good music. Staff are friendly and efficient.
