Truffle Mushrooms : š Amazing
Kim Chi Pancakes : š Amazing
Kombucha : š Great
The food here is amazing beyond words can describe and look absolutely stunning. Both dishes we ordered were so good we scrapped absolutely everything off the plate! Service wise, no waiters to sit you down and getting someoneās attention to take your order was a mission. Not very impressed in that regard but I couldnāt fault the food one bit. If service improved it would 100% be a 5/5
Friendly and attentive service, the food was also delicious. The Kim Chi pancake was a little too sour from the sauce, but the tofu was cooked beautifully and the pancake itself was nice, but a little tough. The mushroom truffle on crumpet was absolutely delicious, each element was paired perfectly and It was super fulfilling.
Whenever Iām visiting from Melbourne, Bondi Wholefoods is always on my to do list! The Surry Hills location is quite different to the Bondi cafe but the food is just as good! The large breakfast bowl is phenomenal and fills me until dinner! The paleo bread is the best!!!
Beautiful, spacious setting. This cafe is perhaps more aesthetically appealing than the original Bondi Wholefoods based in Bondi.
Friendly service and beautifully presented food.
I love how this cafe even does the little things, like mint in the table water, natural stevia sweetener and Himalayan salt.
Surcharge when using card was a bit of a bummer, it cost $18 for an aƧai bowl which I feel is quite overpriced for a smoothie in a bowl with fruit, however, I would recommend to others!
Really yummy food, quick service and I appreciated the diverse menu in terms of vegan options. The smoothies on their own are a meal but I still enjoyed the pancakes. Definitely a place to check out if you're into a healthier brunch spot.
Feeling hungry we decided to over-order and spend a ridiculous amount for brunch but at least we were both full by the end of it! I loved the layout of Bondi Wholefoods Surry Hills - it was spacious and open, kind of like dining in a courtyard. Dogs were allowed even though it is under shelter so you would technically think it's indoors.
We ordered the vegan pancakes which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Pretty food makes me happy haha. It tasted like health which is not necessarily a bad thing, but they were definitely no soft, fluffy pancakes. It was almost like a cake but could've been even heavier than that from memory. It will fill you up that's for sure!
Also ordered the classic smashed avo and happy to see they were generous with the avocado! It wasn't the best avocado toast I've had (and I have had more than my fair share to compare with), but it was your standard avo toast which you cannot go wrong with.
The sweet potato wrap came with a tasty salsa, but without it I felt it was a tad bland. Not complaining though! I appreciate bland. It was quite a healthy, little wrap.
The smoothies here are really something. A meal on their own for some. Considering they come at a hefty cost I should've figured this and ordered less. Still good though. My blue majik latte was not as great (although very pretty), and I will not order again. It's good for you, which is the sole reason I ordered, but I think I'll stick to my handy dandy matcha lattes.
My fav cafe! How amazing sugar free muffins! Every time I went there, they literally surprised me! Omg Iām going again tmr! Miss those healthy treats!!!
I found this place just walking a couple of minutes from the station. It had a very attractive outdoor seating area with heaters, which are much necessary in this season. I ordered for the Veggie Patty Wrap, it took less than 10 minutes for my food to come. The wrap was tasty, especially the dip however I believed $14 for the quantity was not worth the price. It wasn't all that amazing that I would come back for it, at $10 this would be a great buy.
Stopped in for quick coffee. It was really good.
The ready made food looks great as well. Next time I'll be sure to grab something to eat.
Nice open plan setup with table service and nice atmosphere.

š“ SUPER FOOD MESQUITE VANILLA PANCAKES: vegan pancakes with a decadent 'white cacao' sauce, zesty orange cashew cream, topped with seasonal fruit and sprinkled with maple almonds and deydryated orange š“
.
Yummy food that's legitimately kind of healthy for you. This cafe is great for not only.servibg a niche health conscious market but also serving dishes that are healthy that the general public can still consume. Liked the white cacao sauce and cash cream, fresh fruit added great acidity.
The food here is quite pricey, but overall presentation is extremely aesthetic and lovely! The serving sizes are also filling and decent however service does take quite long. The acai bowls ($15.90) are one of the best I've tried with a good range of toppings and stunning looks! The wraps are also well-balanced and flavoursome and I will definitely be back to try more on their menu :)
Two wordsā¦Scrambled Eggs! Soft, golden, airy and melt in your mouth scrumptious. If youāre a scrambled egg lover then this place is the place to go! Bondi Wholefoods offers outdoor seating under a beautiful canopy of plants. The service is friendly and the food mouth-watering. Weāve gone to Bondi Wholefoods several times and we have not been disappointed on any occasion.
Focusing on healthy, fresh and organic produce and ingredients, the kitchen really knows how to produce a quality dish, lacking in neither flavour nor presentation.
Fresh juices made on site, paired with one of their signature breakfast or acai bowls, will keep you healthy and full all summer long.
So, I just ended up spending $40 on breakfast, after choosing coffee, juice and the paleo breakfast. But it was amazing! Sooo good. It was a quiet morning, so I got everything very quickly. Service was nice and I really enjoyed being able to choose from a variety of real food dishes. I'm coming back for breakfast tomorrow!
This is one of the many healthy Bondi cafes that triggered food envy every time I saw its dishes pictured on Instagram. A while ago I learned they had opened a shop in Surry Hills but the other thousand things occupying my mind wiped that fact out of my memory until last week. Turns out the Surry Hills shop is a short stroll away from where we practice Krav Maga.
On Elizabeth Street in Surry Hills sits a new-age cafĆ©/restaurant/grocery store called Bondi Wholefoods, aĀ Bondi-based chain knownĀ for their extensive organic menu. Chocolate chai latte $5.50. The first thingĀ to come out was the Chocolate Chai Latte. I was weary of the drink being too sweet so I braced myself as I took my first sip. TheĀ drink turned out to beĀ very well balanced; the chocolate not too overpowering andĀ theĀ spices dominating the drink.
Smashed avo toast and mushroom bruschetta were simple but really tasty. Great tomato salsa (and not usually a fan). Bruschetta would taste taste A+ if there was a bit more goats cheese. Would go back for the avo toast!
Great food and location that is easy to get to. Glad there's a good healthy cafe in the heart of Surry Hills! Staff are really friendly and fast.
I recommend their smoothies for a good easy breakfast on the run.
Love this breakfast spot, love that i don't have to travel to bondi and find that i have to wait for minimum 30min. It's big compared to bondi which means you don't have to wait as long. Breakfast is delicious. However the menu is quite limited. Love how alot of the food are pretty healthy and taste amazing. Will definitely return as a regular.
Really nice space, outdoors but sheltered and spacious. Decent service. Great healthy food. The acai bowl is fantastic with a good portion of fresh fruit. And it's a massive serving. The softly scrambled eggs were delicious. Comes with half a roast tomato which I thought was stingy. That's not enough for two slices of toast. I had to ration it out š The sautĆ©ed kale was a fantastic add on. Really liking the food options here. A very welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
Totally loving that Bondi Wholefoods has opened up in Surry Hills. Just a short walk up from Central. The obvious choice for a healthy lunch in Surry Hills. We opted for a Small Breakfast bowl with coconut yogurt and a salad with a side of avocado. Special thanks to the chef for the avocado flower. Totally Instagram worthy. Definitely keen to try the smoked salmon and smashed avocado on sourdough next visit. Looked so yummy.
Great menu choices. Everything is healthy and delicious. The food is quite expensive for what it is, but fantastic options for anyone on a paleo diet, or anyone looking to eat clean. The table water is infused and the coffee is good. The service is average - while it wasn't bad, there were long waits at times when the place wasn't busy. While there is a bathroom to use, it's very confusing to get to and a lot of stairs to navigate. For this reason, I wouldn't say they're overly wheelchair friendly.
I used to go to the Bondi one and went to this Surry Hills one for the first time. Bondi Wholefoods never disappoints me. Fresh healthy organic food for reasonable price. When I did a take away coffee today, I was so happy to see they use āInside outā almond milk, very good vegan milk brand. Kimchi pancake was a very nice surprise!
Amazing food, space and service! So badly missed from Bondi Beach, nothing else comes close.. Must try - paleo bread w/cashew cream, incredible pancakes and anything with the slow cooked lamb.. All the food is a perfect balance of taste, health and presentation.. And dog friendly!
Absolutely love this place. The coffee is amazing, the food is to die for, and the staff is lovely. You must try the shakshuka and/or the vegan pancakes š also their smoothies are delicious and beautiful!
Big servings and yumny food, lots of choices for gluten free, dairy free and vegan diners. Reasonable prices. Service was a little slow
Excellent place with plenty of vegan and gluten free options. Great taste, great presentation and reasonable price.
Friendly service coupled with heaps of vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options - what more would you and any of your fussy friends want? With someone with lactose intolerant and celiac friends, this place is great! Definitely will come here again. Their nougat log is incredible
Awesome food. I've been here 3 times now and will visit many more. Quite expensive but it's worth it. The vegan pancakes, acai bowl, muffins, wraps, soups are all soooo amazing. Definitely recommend the pancakes
