Came here for lunch and loved it! Short stroll from Ramsgate beach. Attentive, friendly service and tasty food. Was told everything on the lunch menu was halal apart from the Reuben Sandwich. Will definitely be back to try the breakfast menu and coffee. Support small local businesses where you can people :-)

Good food and great service. This has been one of my fav cafe in Ramsgate. Have been going to this cafe from time to time over last few years with different friends. They all love this place. Good variety for brunch menu and great coffee. Staff were very friendly, very attentive and have good sense of humour. Always enjoyed coming to this cafe.

This is definitely one of my favourite cafes in the Sydney region. Coffee is definitely above average and keeps me coming back. Food is also very good as now the full menu has returned after Covid restrictions eased. Barista is also very nice and service is ok. Covid safe practices are also in place and done well. This cafe also has a 15 minute parking spot in front of it making takeaway coffee a breeze. Definitely worth checking out for brekkie/lunch or just a coffee.

Great little cafe with plenty of unrestricted parking down by Ramsgate Rd, about 100m to the water. Excellent coffee with food that has an awesome take on Middle Eastern influences with other international touches. If I was local, I'd definitely be a regular. Also has a variety of shakes and juices, including Acai. Perfect for brunch, but open from 7am. Also kid-friendly!

Updating my (positive) review from a few months ago. Awesome coffee, great food, friendly staff and across the road from the beach. What's not to love about Overdose. Took our fussy clan for a father's day breakfast here. Have recently been back again for a quiet day off indulgence. The breakfast menu caters to small people (pancakes and bacon) and adults alike. My corn fritters with added side of bacon was fantastic and very generously sized. Pictured dish is the poached eggs with avocado side. Healthy and delicious. Excellent all round which is why I keep going back.

Loved the two dishes we ordered. One of the best acai bowls I have had. They added finger lime as a fruit , I was fascinated as this was the first time I was trying the fruit and good to understand it is a native Australian fruit. Good ambience and even the customers are friendly

Decent little spot just a walk from Ramsgate Beach. <br/>A few seats indoors and outdoors. <br/><br/>Although it’s open until 4pm, don’t pop in after 2.30pm as there isn’t any food left or can be ordered. Such a shame. I could only order a coffee. For a specialty coffee, I expected a better coffee. <br/><br/>The service was quite ordinary, too. <br/>It seemed like a foolish question to ask for food at that time. Though, they were attentive when collecting my finished cup.

Quiet little, place with very friendly and energetic staff. Nice table tops of reclaimed wood.<br/><br/>The piccolo isn't strong. Instead its very velvety smooth with just the right amount of coffee flavour to make it nice. It could be a little stronger for my taste but it went down quick and well. <br/><br/>The juices are delicious. We had the Feel Good Juice and you can tell its real fruit with the passion fruit seeds that come up with each sip.<br/><br/>If you order the pulled brisket burger make sure you bring lots of wet wipes and napkins. Expect an explosion of meat juice and sauce on your first bite, followed by drips of pickles and jalapeno. Pro tip; eat your burger over the chips because the saucy, meat drippings are delicious! The maple bacon was smashing. I don't know what season is on the chips but gawddamn there good!<br/><br/>The Reuben is new perfect. It reminds me of the Reubens from the Newtown joint. The sandwich filling is very generous and perfectly portioned. Take it to the next level by asking for pickles on the Reuben!<br/><br/>The food came out quick, the place is very clean and everything was well presented. Its a great little place.

I came here after a morning run at Dolly Point. It is a nice little cafe located at Ramsgate village centre. The house coffee is great and deserved the 'speciality' name. The menu is average so I chose Eggs Florentine. Taste is average but the service is exceptional despite the noise. I will come back again.

Exceptional coffee. The owner/main barista is super friendly, knows his stuff and brews a fine cup. He has a pretty cool collection of coffee tampers on display. Standard breakfast/lunch fodder, tastes great and reasonably priced. No issue with wait time. Will be back

I love the coffee here, it's particularly great for the area. The service is super slow. For some reason I waited 40minutes for breakfast when I was the only person seated inside...worst of all was when the meal sat on the counter for a solid 10minutes so I enjoyed cold toast. Unsure why the chef doesn't help with table service, he was sitting down doing nothing while my meal was sitting on the counter waiting for the guy who does table service. Seems to all fall on the one guy to take orders and do the tables. <br/>
