Don't know what to get? Just try the Shoyu Karaage Chicken (most popular) or Yellow Croaker Fish Fillet Wonton noodle soup (picture). I got mild spicy and the fillet was really crunchy and sweet.
Very flavourful and confident Chinese fusion restaurant located in the World Square. I had the Prawn San Choy Bow, Wonton in Garlic Shoyu Sauce, Seafood Laksa and they were all very pleasant to eat. They have a wide range of interesting dishes on the menu and I’m definitely going back to try the other dishes. I give this place 4 bears
Friends and I went there for Dinner and all agreed it was the best food we had ever eaten. Would 100% go there again and would recommend to everyone.
We were very happy with both the food and the service at this place. The portion sizes are huge - just like most Asian restaurants. The staff were very helpful, explained all the different options - very satisfied.
Great place for a quick and delicious Chinese meal! Flavour was amazing - traditional Chinese spicy flavour, and the portions were generous. Only down side is the staff were not trained probably (they are confused about what to do sometimes), and the waitress was kinda rude when we were paying at the counter.
‘Located in World Square in Sydney CBD amongst other eateries, this place is a nice Asian fusion. It doesn’t shy away from its spiciness which I like even though I can’t handle my chilli well (just give me a jug of water and I’ll be fine). We started off with our drinks of Berry Blush – lemonade with raspberries and lychee – (not pictured) which was so refreshing and I loved how they had whole lychees in there for me to eat!
I tried the garlic chili chicken with Ramen 🍜 and it was pretty good. They should reduce the spicy level though for medium spiceness as at first it felt too much heat..overall great experience.
One of my lunch favourites. I love the modern take of the traditional Chinese food and how you can customise your noodle soup.
Food looks the same as what’s on the posters - it’s not easy to do! Most importantly, it taste even better than it looks!
It makes me hungry by thinking about the food I had there...
Awesome noodles and wontons. Had the Mikirin Sea Deluxe paired with Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The broth is flavourful and spicy and was a great combination with the ramen and soft shell crab.
I think this restaurant is the mixture taste of Malaysia + Taiwan + Japanese food. Personally i like it so much as it worth the price and the portion is big as well. One thing they can improve is perhaps can have some lunch special set.

Our new favorite place to get a wonton fix! (Soup and fried) always getting the wontons good value for money. The fried ones is delicious and crunchy. My mouth is watery as i was typing... also had their dry ramen and soup ramen with pork chop, all of the food did not dissapoint. Great portion and clean. We are already a regular here. Please keep it up Mikirin!!
From what I can tell, Mikirin is the new restaurant from the two sisters who have the Spicy Lips Asian-fusion restaurant at George Street cinemas. I’ve been intrigued by the name, but have never tried it. Their website is under construction so that’s all the infotel I could find out, which is fine: it means I just have to explain what I experienced.
Discovered this restaurant by chance and was not disappointed. The service was unbelievable, the menu was unique and the food was delicious. Had the dry ramen which was so tasty and absolutely loved the flavours. Will definitely be going back for more.
If you like spicy and numbing then this place is for you. Tasty egg noodles with Sichuan spicy flavours either in soup or dry. They have side dishes and dumplings as well. Make sure you get the won ton and spicy dry noodles.
Finally I can try this noodle shop.
Mikirin, serving variety of noodles from the famous 2 sister behind “spicy lips”, small shop located on entrance of event cinema on George street.
What I had, BBQ pulled pork with black pepper broth.
And you can choose your noodle, and ramen is on of the options.
Noodle was tasty, some skin crackers, is a nice addition for the crunchy element on the dish.
Broth is rich and tasty, overall dish was very enjoyable.
the spring rolls were so good! the vegetables seemed very fresh and the sauce was very tasty. the wonton non-spicy soup (15 pcs) was amazingly tasty!
I will come back.
Greatest service - from the moment the girl greeted us at the door to the moment we left the door, even when we accidentally dropped our chopsticks too many times. 😅 All the staff were super sweet and friendly! The food was also great and decently priced :) Would defs go here again
I went there last night, and tried Hot and Sour Wonton Noodle Soup. Definitely a must have. I don't usually like sourness in food so hesitated to try but a friend of mine recommended it to me. I gave it a go and wow.. It had a perfect balance of spicy and sour taste that went really well with wonton and rice noodle. Besides that roasted peanut and coriander really enhanced the whole flavour of the soup to the next level. Love that combination. Highly recommended.
Great takeaway option for ramen. The herbs they put in are super fresh and they do the ramen to the perfect consistency. Since they pack the noodles separate from the sauce, you can get it home no problem and still enjoy springy noodles. :)
Was shocked to see the difference in crowd size between this place and the one that used to be here (Chicken and Sons.) C&S was always empty and I thought it was just a bad location for a restaurant but that's apparently not the case!
food is 5 star, service is 5 star, price is reasonable. i cant find any reason why i should give them less than 5 star. 👍👍 i normally have their spicy wonton noodle soup, but this time i tried something else, and yes, they are still awesome!
