Great location, sangria, live music, cozy blankets, lovely plants everywhere, AMAZING food!!!! Great outing for a Friday night dinner or a Sunday sangria with live music! Highly recommended
Great location, wonderful service and excellent food with limited beverages available sums up this more than pleasant restaurant. Love the desert tray presentation. We started with their charcuterie board for two which was large and diverse. the salmon very well cooked even though they were busy. and the bottles of rose we consumed was divine

loved the nature, sorroundings and enjoyed the live music on sunday .. beautiful flowers and lovely smell of the candles and reliable cost of food.. wanna buy some more candles in my next visit. caring attitude of each and every staff. the cocktails were amazing.. Cant wait to go there again with my friends
Gorgeous water front Italian restaurant. We were lucky to score a table by the sea. Fortunately we were given blankets because the seating, although undercover, was outside and freezing cold. There was live music, mostly 80's/90's Aus rock, which was fantastic - many people got up to dance by the stage.
We had pizza, prawn linguine and calamari. As well as a flourless chocolate cake, Tiramisu and crème brûlée. The food service was speedy, our meals came within 10 minutes. The pizzas were fabulous (which was expected at an Italian restaurant) as was the pasta. The desserts were amazing, couldn't get enough of the Tiramisu!
With a stunning view and brilliant food the only thing I was picky about was the music which was way too loud. I understand that a lot of the people were there to enjoy the tunes but we were there for a social family dinner which was deemed impossible unless you felt like yelling to the person next to you.
Definitely will come back.

I sat in the salty subtle sea spray on my 1999 tinny. I braved the ocean canal and my spiritual soul landed at the waterfront restaurant.
The waves rocked off my tinny as I embarked on an astonishing 5 meter walk to the restaurant entrance. The location of dining was full of love making couple and an occasional family embracing the true spirit of Italia cuisine in Sydney's mid-north east. Just after good Friday, I hoed into a palatable morsel inspired by Jesus himself. Bless my soul, my holy soul!😇🙌🙏. I had the 'Risotto Nero' a squid ink based risotto that captured the true essence of why I live: splendid food. It was the best risotto I have consumed. I guzzled down a short water and then flowed into dessert mode. #excited #flowing. I ordered three dishes from the outlet of the lord: tiramisu, ricotta and pear tart & a lemon tart. All were unique and fascinated my mind with their simpler yet complex form combined with subtlety.
Before I hopped on my tinny I embraced the local general store. Unfortunately, prices were unmarked and made up on the spot like a dog enforcing the law. I was ripped on an Easter egg for AUS$3. What a sin!👿.
Overall, it was a strapping restaurant and I will be returning in the near future to indulge myself again.

What a great spot for a Sunday arvo, beautiful view, chill out atmosphere and great food. The Osso Buco Alla Milanese is just delicious, highly recommended
We had a beautiful dinner here. Maitre de was very welcoming and funny and made our experience even more relaxing. The location perfect and food delicious. The serving sizes were generous and we would definitely return.
I have eaten at many cafes in Australia and around the world and I can honestly say that the big breakfast at Church Point is the BEST I have ever had. The coffee is great the service polite and the staff are not 10 year old's that can not hold a conversation if you desire one. As for the owner she could be everyone's grandmother. Just a great start to the day.
I ordered the mushroom medley. It was a beautiful mixture of mushrooms, spinach, and roasted tomato, on woodfired wholegrain toast, topped with a perfectly poached egg, and drizzled with truffle oil.
Brilliant food and location. Just thought I'd give the previous poster a heads up. You have to order your meal inside the store at the counter. There is no table service! I guess you should have asked someone.

I have travelled the world, this place has to be one of the spots that needs a visit it's location location location is breathtaking, the food is great and the people that run the place are friendly. Very good value I took my family of 8 yesterday & my total food was well below what other restaraunts charge .
Stunning view, relaxed place, good cafe food. Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Waterfront Cafe is a place I love to visit, with its superb views across Pittwater, beautiful whatever the weather or time of day, and I've always been happy with the food. Breakfast includes the standards, the full Aussie breakfast, plus things like eggs benedict and lighter options (prices around $10-$15). Lunch and dinner includes pasta and pizza, seafood, hamburgers, salads, steak (prices around $15-$25). Then there's live jazz in the afternoon on the first Sunday of the month, and every Friday night. Love it.

Unreal location, Great service, New regulars.. We have just arrived home from a great night at this wonderful cafe/restaurant. What a beautiful location, the tables beautifully decorated with flowers. Not to mention that through the cracks of the deck you can see the water!!!
The food was beautiful with generous servings - well worth their value. The service was on point, being greeted on entry and shown to our table quickly - with waitresses checking that we were happy with our seats (how could you not be with views of the water from even the furthest tables).. all staff were very friendly and approachable on a fully booked Friday night. All of our needs were catered to beyond expectation.
The only negative from our wonderful experience was the number of people we observed who could only complain about their reserved seating spot!! If you can't appreciate that you are literally sitting on water no matter where you are, perhaps your attitude should be reflected on. And no, we were not right at the front if that's what you're thinking.
100% in all aspects, we felt very well looked after & were even checked on by the owner Mary to whom we could only compliment. Our only let down was the rudeness of other customers. We have recommended this beautiful spot to our friends and plan on revisiting regularly. Thankyou for a great night.
World class views. I recently went to one of my favourite cafes, The Waterfont Storeand Cafe at Church Point. On a warm and ultra busy night, for Xmas Carols, the restaurant was packed. However, we were all fed, choosing from the full menu, in great time, especially considering the place was full! Food is always lovely, have never had poor service, let alone bad manners from any waiter! The place is a real gem. Will keep recommending it to my friends. And yes, I too have travelled extensively overseas, and it IS world class on our doorstep!

Pretty good. The food was good - I didn't really like the atmosphere on the deck. It's such a beautiful view they really could do more with it.
Regulars. We are frequent visitors, in fact just about every second weekend. We have a fabulous time every time! Food is always great and the service we are given is second to none, not to mention the awesome views. Not sure what happened to previous reviews, complaing about everything....???? .I would highly recommend this awesome little cafe to anyone, the staff always look after us, very friendly and obliging, we will always be coming back.
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!. Six of us ate at this restaurant for a late lunch today. Food was delicious and good helpings. Superb views and staff very pleasant and helpful. Loved the unusual gifts and fresh flower displays. We'll be back!
Great Food and Pittwater Views!. I visited the Waterfront Store & Cafe...what a great spot! The food was sensational and the service excellent. The kids loved it too with so many menu choices and the presentation was really great. They have a new delicious Pizza and Pasta menu which the kids loved. It was very convenient having the general store, bottle shop and unique heritage post office there too. This is a secret spot that wont be a secret for long, as it is too good to miss.
We really enjoyed the meal and the fabulous Pittwater views, then went next door to visit the " Gone Fishin" gallery featuring local artists from Scotland Island. You can take a ferry ride around the island and then come back to the Waterfront Cafe for a great coffee and dessert.
A great day out was had by all the family at the Waterfront Cafe in Church Point.

The Waterfront Store/Cafe is truly a hidden tresure, this place has the most beautiful setting it's huge outdoor deck overhangs the lovely Pittwater. The business is run mainly all with family, what a great experience I want to make it home!! Thank you for giving us such a place we love it!
Charming setting, friendly service, good atmosphere
The image of the bouillabaisse shows the bowl half empty! For good reason. One of the best ever! You cannot afford to miss the experience of service, value & freshness that derives from this unique ‘on the water’ local icon. At around $130 for 2 ( 1 starter 2 mains & 2 glasses of wine) it’s a true bargain. You want to know what ‘modern Australian’ seafood is all about? This is your chance. My first time.
The cafe is located inside the general store and offers a great menu from burgers through to risotto and gnocchi including of course, fish and chips. Mingle with the locals, byo ($5 head) or enjoy their extensive wine list or a jug of sangria. Parking is scarce so don’t bring the car, the locals will thank you for that.
A surprising little cafe on the waters edge at Church Point. We walked in and they were able to organise a table for us despite not booking. We were very lucky, given it was a weekend. The breakfast menu was vast and the food was delicious - very well presented. The service was friendly and helpful also. Beautiful greenery surrounds you whilst you are dining.
A really beautiful spot on Pittwater. Overwater seating. Varied menu to cater for all. Food is good. Good cocktails and can buy your wine from the store to have with your lunch/ dinner. The only issue can be parking on a weekend. It can be tough to get a spot. Otherwise a favourite that we visit regularly.
Very nice location, good menu with some Italian dishes. The fish and chip were amazing. Highly recommended! Good value for the money.
We randomly arrived here, and it was the beat choice! You could get the view from everywhere. Food was great. If you are busy they offer takeaway too.
