Lovely staff members and good coffee. My flight got delayed and I had to spend 2.5 hours inside this cafe working on my laptop, I was probably a real inconvenience. But the girls remained super nice and welcoming and the vibe of the cafe was excellent throughout.
Well deserved 5 stars.

Friendly staff, beautiful flowers and awesome sweets!! I enjoyed latte art as well. Staff help us to choose menu if we wonder:) In the morning many people make queues to get coffee and so busy. Rasberry&Coconut slice was amazingly good taste(bit too sweet for some ppl but nice mix by sourness and sweetness), I enjoyed it.

Delicious coffee and awesome food with lots of treats as well as healthy options available. Cool set up in the lobby of an office building, this is definitely a few steps above the usual foyer coffee shop. Worth stopping in and treating yourself to a delicious brew!

There catering is great making our events just that more sweeter and everyone in our office can agree we love them. The cakes always hit the spot and the edition of having a jumbo size for coffee just makes them so much better. Absolutely recommend them!

Great range of cakes, muffins, and savoury treats. Excellent coffee and friendly staff. There's a few seats around the corner too. Great if you're on Pitt St. but want to be away from the mall. Value for money too!

Absolutely fantastic food that is not like other city cafes and somehow is getting better! Has an artisan flavour that is uncommon. Wide selection of breakfast options and good coffee. Would give 5 but because itâs in a the lift foyer of a building it hasnât got a welcoming warm decor or vibe. It is one of the best two cafes in Sydney. Take note people!

Fossix Coffee is one of the better places in the Sydney Business District for coffee, a quick bite to eat as well as delicious cakes such as their homemade carrot cake (pictured). Service is quick and efficient. #fossixcoffee

I had the poke bowl with salmon (~$14.50) and my bf got the chicken sandwich. Both dishes were fresh and vibrant. If you like your veggies, i would consider the poke bowl, it was packed to the rim. Despite this, the predominant flavour was coming from the side of seaweed (like you get when you go for sushi) which isn't bad, but just not to my personal taste preference. I had a bite of the sandwich from my bf's plate and it was delicous - warm and toasty, so I would personally go for this if I had to choose. One thing I will say is the staff here aren't the friendliest BUT i guess the free sparkling water makes up for it?

I don't understand why this cafe has received so many low reviews - it is one of, if not my favourite coffee and food stops in the CBD. Great coffee, and consistently great food. No matter if you want a snack, a sweet treat or something more substantial, fossix will have a delicious option. Quick and easy to take away, but also a nice seating area, if you want to have a catch up or to sit down and enjoy your coffee and food!

Used to be good, but it was sold to new owners a few months ago and it's completely lost its service and charm. <br/><br/>Used to be creative and unique- now it's kind of bland. Very unfortunate.

overall not bad. good service and food, but nothing outstanding. sitting area while funky can be noisy since its very close to the lifts. interesting specials.

Fossix Coffee is a neat little coffee shop, hidden away in the lobby of a Sydney CBD office building. Fossix is a micro roaster in the heart of the city, so expect great coffee. There's also a handful of both sweet and savoury food items on the counter readily available for a quick takeaway. There's also a menu with some items such as burgers and salads.

In Short : Brilliant milk and brewed coffees, delicious healthy breakfasts, located just north of the Pitt Street mall. <br/><br/>The âoutside-inâ march continues with the opening of Fossix on Pitt Street. Like Reuben Hills and Edition, John Smith have joined the movement from the CBD fringe to offerings smack bang in the middle of the city and weâre all winners!

Fossix Coffee is the sister store to John Smith Cafe. Really enjoyed my Cappuccino ($3.50) using Seasonal House Blend. Friendly barista really knows what his doing. Nice flavour and strength. There's a good variety of cakes and pastries to tempt with most of them made in house except for the famous gluten free cakes from Little Secrets Bakehouse. Limited seating but enough to have a quick bite or coffee solo or with a mate. Friendly staff, nice fit out and some reasonably priced breakfast and lunch eats on the menu. Thanks @a_man_and_his_sandwich for the coffee tip.
