Great place to have a quote brunch on a weekend. Very modern menu and well balanced food. I loved hash browns in my salmon rush dish! Didn’t feel any fat or oil in it at all as it happens often in other places. Haven’t tried their coffee, but I’m sure it would be good as well.
Will definitely come back xx
Service: Wait staff were lovely! We were Seated quickly and provided with cold tap water. We had a lovely french woman who knew the menu well and the kitchen was very flexible with food requests(my partner asked for no hummus and she offered ricotta) Ambience: Lovely travellers chic style cafe. Outdoor seating (7) and Indoor seating (8) The restaurant had lots of greenery in it so made us feel very relaxed.Food: I Had the Eggs on Toast with a side of Hash brown and Roasted Tomato(16.00) very affordable food for how much we got. All food came out unsalted so we could make it our own with the himalayan rock salt. The roast tomato was still a tiny bit firm but that was a small thing. Two butters for my sourdough toast and they weren't freezing cold which was good! I also had the snow mist jasmine tea. The tea was great and came with a timer to know when to poor it. I couldn't finish the tea so i asked for the remainder to go and they happily obliged :D My partner had the smashed avo which normally comes with a beetroot hummus but he got the ricotta instead. The smashed avo comes with about 5 or 6 smaller peices of bread with avo, dukkah and pomegranite. You can order the poached egg for $2.5. He had the capp and enjoyed that too. We really cant fault this place
Enjoyed the matcha hotcakes, they were dense, not too sweet & tasted great with the coconut flakes. Mushrooms in the green breakfast bowl were great. Friendly service.
Located off the busy Victoria Road, this coffee shop is very nice with some very friendly staff, we went there for breakfast and food was good and tasty, and good coffee and matcha latte!
This is a nice cafe tucked away off the main streets of Darlinghurst that has a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options. The zucchini fritters were alright - was a bit bland but it was very nicely presented. The matcha pancakes was definitely the highlight. The whole dish had strong matcha flavours and wasn’t overly sweet. The earl grey latte was way too sweet but the other speciality lattes were fine and very strong flavours.
Great coffee, delicious “not just your regular” bacon and egg roll. The banana walnut bread was amazing
Great place to spend some time
A place to have some meaningful conversation
The place should be on your hit list
Cool ambience
Definitely visit the place
Zucchini & Corn Fritters : 😁 Great
Bircher Muesli : 😍 Amazing
Coconut Cold Drip : 😍 Amazing
Matcha Latte : 😊 Good
When I looked at the menu, I was so torn. I wanted to order everything! From sweet to savoury, I believe there’s something for everyone at The Brewer’s Tale. The overnight Bircher Muesli was very refreshing and fulfilling. The Corn Fritters were great and paired well with the asparagus and beetroot hummus. The coconut cold drip had a very subtle coconut taste that didn’t overpower the coffee but nor did it really stand out. The matcha latte was nice and creamy but unfortunately the matcha didn’t blend well with the milk and there were lots of matcha powder sediments at the bottom of the cup which did not have a nice end taste. Otherwise, a beautiful cafe that deserves a second visit.
Amazing food ! Staff was amazing , WiFi is included and food came fast. Also AMAZING quantity of food with the price you get . Just a little hard to find as a newbie in Sydney
Okay service with good food and coffee. The coconut cold drip was really nice and sweet. The matcha latte however was very disappointing. The matcha powder wasn’t mixed in correctly so clumps of bitter matcha formed making it very hard to finish. The food on the other hand was delicious! The Bricher Muesli was refreshing and super fulfilling topped with one slice of poach pear...The fritters were also good, both fluffy and very fulfilling.

I love the location of this place! The layout is amazing. The furnishing is cool and the staff are very friendly. The food was also perfect. The matcha hotcakes were delicious and the coffee strong. Just the way I like it. Will definitely go back.
The sweet potato latte was exceptional!! The fritter was really flavoursome and well presented and with the added on smoked salmon, it made the dish really delicious. My friend had the stuffed mushroom and it was really well done and on top of the poached eggs, it was really beautiful.
A friendly and pretty café located in the heart of Darlinghurst called A Brewer’s Tale Café. It’s so pretty and nice flavour of hot purple sweet potato latte (8/10).
SALMON RUSH ($17.5) - Smoked Salmon, capers, poached eggs, baby spinach, feta cheese, sprout and hash browns. The perfect one would be that crunchy hash brown with balance seasoning (7 /10)
BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST ($18.5) with fresh fruits, ricotta cheese, coconut chips, mango panna cotta and 100% pure maple syrup. The unique point will be the panna cotta on top (rather than cream or ice cream like other restaurant do). Taste yummy but not that amazing (8/10)
Picture perfect, pretty food - almost too delicate to eat. This fairytale-inspired café offers an array of deliciously nutritious, quirky & appealing dishes. That’s not to say their drinks menu should be overlooked. I recommend accompanying your brilliantly colourful meal with either a sweet potato or taro latte to guarantee an overall satisfying experience.
Always a good idea to get reservations as this place can get pretty packed.
The staff is an affable lot, they're all very sweet! The ambience is ideal for a brunch. The interiors are adorable.
This goes without saying, the food is gorgeous! It's just so pleasing to the eyes. Everything tastes decent. The highlight for me was definitely the French toast. Unexpectedly, the purple sweet potato latte was flavourful and had a smooth texture to it.
Would I go back? Maybe, for the French toast.
AMAZING BRUNCH! Mocha I ordered was just the way I like it - filled with chocolatey goodness! The ricotta field mushroom was light but delightful and incredibly tasty. The combination of Ricotta with Pesto was incredible. Sourdough was perfectly crunchy. And the Kale salad was zesty and light. So so good! Service staff was also lovely :) Would definitely recommend this cafe!
Very friendly service, lovely open dining space, great menu and fair prices. Coffee is good, and the meal portion sizes are generous. Wait time for food was reasonable too. Worth a visit.
I ordered Salmon Rush and hot Mocha. The coffee was lovely. The cafe was lovely. But we were lucky because we went there for a Thursday lunch, so not too many people.
Never tasted kale so good 👄
We ordered the brioche french toast and the ricotta & field mushroom on toast. Personally, the ricotta toast was a knockout! The poached egg was done so well that you can get a clean cut right outside the yolk membrane (don't know the exact name...). Kale was lightly roasted, rather crunchy and coated with a lemon dressing (I think...) that leaves it tangy and fresh - perfect for summer. The blend of quinoa and seeds with the dish was also a good finish to a healthy palate.
The field mushroom was cooked nicely. Perfect age, tender, juicy and when I just loved to smear that dollop of pesto-topped ricotta all over it. Tastes so good I'm getting flashbacks as I type this 😂 I really recommend you guys to try this place. Service is pretty good. Waiter ensured we were both done with our food before they took the plates away ~ and of course, you can't get 5 stars without a lovely coffee 😌
We ordered Matcha Latte, corn cake and pancakes. The latte is not as sweet as what cafe shops can offer, and the taste is very authentic. Their matcha pancakes was really really good- both taste and the presentation. Suitable for group of people or just two of you wanted a relaxing and cozy afternoon.
Staff and service were excellent. Coffee was great as well, I just wished the porridge had more toppings as it was a bit boring. But I will definitely be back!
Food are delicious and pretty, services are great, a place great for friends chatting : ) beef sausages are my best fav. The matcha hot cake are a bit dry for me, prefer a more moist taste. Sweet potato earl grey are great but a bit sweet to me. Overall I’m highly recommend this place.

Solid 3.75/5.
These guys got the balance between value for money, portion size and quality down pat. If i have to sum up our experience in a sentence.
Green benny, muffin spinach poached eggs tomato kale w mayo.
Salmon rush, smoked salmon capers poached eggs spinach feta sprout AND hash brown.
Green bowl, kale quinoa haloumi poached eggs spinach asparagus avo mushrooms chia seeds pumpkin seeds pine nuts.
Our drinks came scalding hot as requested. Note the generous portion sizes too n they dont skimp on quality either. What more can one ask for?
The service struggled and fumbled a bit with finding us a table but after that was settled, the service was fluent and efficent. The food was appetising to the eye and tongue!
Such a wonderful brunch & coffee! The food and helpful staff made my rainy winter morning. I had the Salmon Rush (smoked salmon, hush browns, poached eggs and greens) & large skinny latte - absolutely to die for! I haven’t had so much salmon on my plate for a long time! Super fresh & delicious.. highly recommended!
Will we back 100%
Cute cafe with very nice hipster deco and nice healthy hipster vibe. Service is very casual and blah. Coffee was strong and smooth. Just how I like it. My breakfast was lovely with lots of fresh and healthy ingredients and a very generous large portion plate. Mushroom and ricotta was great. Dish maybe just needed more seasoning or something to give it a kick as was a tad bland. Quinoa and kale salad could have used more lemon for example. Overall nice place, I would come back.
If I live around this suburb, I will definitely be there at least once a week. I have been there a couple of times and the food is amazing as always, the staff are welcoming, and their prices is not as steep as other cafes. I love it that they do earl grey lattes here (how good is that?!) and not just regular lattes. I would normally have the salmon rush, but the ricotta stuffed mushroom is soooo good as well!
We really love A Brewer’s Tale! Couldn’t fault our meals - the chicken salad had the perfect ingredients and the orange slices were a nice surprise and went really well with the dish. The balsamic dressing was refreshing was a nice touch. We also had the ricotta stuffed mushroom which was delicious, not to mention looked so pretty! The dish was light yet so satisfying and my egg was poached perfectly (woo!) Definitely a 5/5 experience, thanks!
We had a nice experience today at this cafe. The waitress was very kind and the place had a nice relaxed vibe. We did notice the food was taking a while and eventually were told that the kitchen hadn’t put the order through. We were immediately offered free drinks and an apology. This didn’t bother us at all however and we were so glad that they offered great customer service to a mistake which was on their part. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! Even though there was a slight mixup I would highly recommend this cafe to my friends and family and we will be back:)
Had a great weekend with nice food here! And the staff service was good too. Also they have a big portion for my meal. Definitely will back again to this place
Good food, good ambience. Didn’t try their coffee tho.
The salmon was in room temp, which I kinda doubt the safety of em. Hashbrown was good. Fried capers was genius idea!
The ricotta stuffed mushroom was good, except the toast were a bit chewy and hard to cut.
Will I come back here? Umm.. maybe.. but not in a while.
Really lovely and attentive staff. I also really appreciated the number of delicious options on the menu. Its more than just avo on toast! I ordered the black sesame porridge which was really really tasty. Nice coffee too!
I don’t know where to start to explain you how much I like this café. I am working so close to this shop that I had several opportunity to try their dishes and I always enjoyed them.
To start, the shop is located in Darlinghurst near St Vincent hospital, quite easy to come there with Bus or train not very far. The café has not a lot of tables inside (6 maybe) but has also 6 outside (with heaters and blankets for winter). The service has always been very well done and the people there are very nice and warming so perfect for a brunch on a weekend or just a coffee before work.
They have a breakfast and a lunch menu with quite a lot of options. I tried the slow cooked pork with Japanese happa sauce, kale and quinoa and the Salmon filet, asparagus, mashed potato, capers served with lemon butter sauce. Both meals were very well cooked with a lot of aroma and good combination of seasonal products.
And for my birthday I wanted to go back to this café to try their Brioche French toast (it is not because I am French but I love French toast and in Sydney I have to admit that people are cooking it very wel and add a lot of toppings which make them even better. This one was served with fresh fruits, ricotta, coconut chips and a mango panna cota (to die for) and some maple syrup. Of course it is very sweet but as you would expect for a French toast. But the fresh fruits help to balance the sweetness.
I also tried their Chai latte and it was pretty good too. And they serve the tea with a small sand timer for the right infusion time. I found this so cute!
So guys give a try to this cafe you will not be disappointed!
Small cosy location, seemed like locals come by for a coffee and a good read.
Visited with a small group, each ordering a drink and a meal each. Everyone's drinks came out all about the same time along with the food which was fantastic. Food was delicious and couldn't be faulted.
Semi vintage cafe, good seating & great ambience for chatting, Foods were well presented however they under seasoned, we ordered their signature Pork belly & Grilled Salmon, Coffee was slightly bitter, overall good to try ! They famous for matcha hotcake ! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Matcha pancakes topped with fairy floss 🍵🥞🌸
It is their signature dish but to be honest, my friend and I thought it wasn't that great .. the pancakes were kinda dry and the poached pear that came with it, had a weird taste to it similar to an off alcohol or something. The fruits were a good addition to the dish and the matcha chocolates were a nice touch.
We actually preferred the mains more and they were decent sized to fill us up. I had the pea and zucchini fritters and they were yum. Even my friend who doesn't normally like fritters said it was good. I recommend coming here for the mains but not recommended for their signature matcha pancakes. "Le monde" does good matcha pancakes though for anyone on the hunt for it.
Great cafe in Darlinghurst! The interior is fun and quirky with lots of timber, grass and hanging lights. The staff are friendly and very quick to make sure you have everything you need. We had the ricotta mushroom and smashed avocado. Both meals were hearty and delicious! Would most definitely return.

💙 Fresh fruit added great zing of flavour and texture to these oats 💙

🔍 Not a huge fan of the bircher. Had to try it first but before formulating my opinion 🔍
Very friendly service, one of the best coffee in Sydney and great range of brunch served here. What else you ask for! Dont forget to make a booking for weekend visit tho.

A Brewer’s Tale is a fairy tale themed cafe in Darlinghurst with a whimsical ambiance and decor that does cute and quirky brunch dishes. We had heard good things about this place and finally got around to trying it.
We couldn’t come here without trying their signature matcha hotcakes with fresh fruit, matcha chocolate, pistachios, poached pear, persian fairy floss, coconut slices and red bean. This was amazing and lived up to my expectations. The pancakes were fluffy and full of matcha flavour and went well with the tangy fruit and the sweet red bean. The fairy floss on top was definitely a sweet way to finish off the dish!
A Brewers Tale is pretty much an Instagram fixture thanks to the matcha hotcakes. Inevitably, the taste couldn't quite live up to the plating. My friend thought the dish was pretty average and could've done with more matcha flavour. My ricotta mushroom on toast was better fortunately, with variety of textures and flavours from the quinoa salad, radish slices and beetroot puree. Another friend enjoyed her chicken salad which was quite a large serve with a simple mix of green leaves, cherry tomatoes, grilled chicken and a sweetish balsamic vinaigrette. I also had the purple sweet potato latte which was unexpectedly delicious. Though it was a bit on the sweet side, I really enjoyed the distinctive flavour which did indeed taste like sweet potato! Lovely service with outdoor tables, ideal for people watching. Prices are on the higher end but points for terrific plating, large servings, solid dishes and lack of crowds.

Went to Brewer's tale cafe when it opened recently last year. Visited the place with my foodie troops and we ordered pretty much almost everything on the menu!. In my opinion, they have a great range of dishes but some got they highs and lows for us :). Morning Muesli - Natural yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit, coconut slices, chia seeds and flaked almonds.
Popped over A Brewer's Tale awhile back. You gotta try the specially made - Coconut cold Brewed coffee. The Zimbabwean Cold coffee drip was served with ice and fresh coconut juice.
For something cooler, Hibiscus Flower and Orange Iced Tea is just yum!
Loving the Smashed Avocado and Pulled Pork. Served with quinoa, kale and sweet home made pineapple salsa, can't go wrong with A Brewer's Tale's signature dish, Pulled Pork. A little bit on the salty side, but it was well balanced with quinoa.

As a foodie it can be difficult to eat healthy. So recently I'd try making kale salads and I haven't been able to go back since. So today when I saw the 'superfood salad' with kale on the menu I was a bit reluctant to say the least, but since I'd never tried cafe kale I gave it a go and for once I don't regret eating kale. The cafe's kale massaged with olive oil and Lemon caper's dressing undercuts the bitterness of the kale and replaces it with an explosion of flavour and crunch. The perfect mixture fats from the pumpkin seeds and salmon create an extra punch and to top it off the boiled egg and sprinkle of quinoa help to balance out the flavours. Although one can say it is slightly simplified when it comes to flavouring it is a definitely a great go to every day salad. 4.5/5

Absolutely loved brunch here! Every dish is so beautifully presented and more importantly, the taste was on point. My top picks would have to be the matcha pancakes and the French toast, both beautifully adorned with an array of flowers and fresh fruit. The lattes here are incredible! Highly recommend the matcha latte and the purple sweet potato one too. A must try spot for brunch in Sydney!
Came to this cafe for a reunion after seeing lots of pictures on Instagram. Great food and good customer service. The drinks are nice and food is aesthetic.
Great ambience, food and service at this Darlinghurst cafe. I have nothing but praise for this venue.
The menu has a superb all day breakfast offering with plenty on the lunch menu to cover all bases. We enjoyed a salad bowl, one was the Grilled Chicken Salad (Grilled chicken, mixed salad, cherry tomato, lentils, potatoes, boiled eggs, olive oil, Dukkah with balsamic dressing) and the other the Super Green Salad (Kale, smoked salmon, organic quinoa, cherry tomato, boiled egg, olive oil, pumpkin seeds, seasonal green vegetables with lemon capers dressing). Both were fresh, delicious and satisfying.
Just a street away from busy Oxford Street is A Brewer’s Tale Cafe, a fusion eatery with signature dishes that showcase the very on trend Japanese matcha (green tea) in many forms, as well as classic brunch fare. The decor has a dash of whimsy to it with 3D suitcases on the wall, birdcage lighting and floral cushions, which brighten up the space and create a nice ambience for brunching.
this place have been all over instagram for their esthetic looking dishes and i've been dying to try it out. It a lot smaller than i expected , right from the door i got a really warm welcome from staffs. Order the most famous matcha hot cake , probably 90% for the instagram pictures and not expect big things but oh my god it taste so good just like it look. fruit on the side really help with the sweetness of the matcha cake. Overall it was a really nice experience and i would love to comeback someday.
As soon as I walked in, I was in love with the decor of the cafe. All the dishes we ordered were so pretty and there's also a focus on healthy ingredients. Both the pork belly and grilled salmon came with sides of beautiful vegetables. We finished off with the Matcha pancakes and it was gorgeous! Served with a poached pear and fresh fruit, the pancakes themselves were quite strong in matcha flavour which I really enjoyed. Great spot!
Great food, even better service!
The staff here are really on the ball, food looks amazing, and it comes out relatively quick! The green tea latte is also a winner!
Had a bit of a cathartic experience over the matcha hotcakes. When it arrived I was shocked, I had never seen anything like this in my life. Probably the closest thing would be one of those crazy matcha desserts you order with every possible topping because 'why not'. It was whimsical, ridiculous, colourful, like a Kandinsky on a plate and I just sat there looking at it for a long while (please see picture).
It had fruit salad w/ coconut, matcha hotcake with azuki, fairy floss, matcha 'ganache' chocolates, nuts, flowers and a red wine poached pear. With each bite I tried to make a new combination of the flavours but still I just didn't understand the dish at all, it was utterly complex and so far removed from reality. I began to laugh. The dish was like abstract art both in visuals and in taste, perplexing but somehow...good??
So that was a new experience. I absolutely loved the setup of the cafe, it felt so comfortable and friendly with a vintage charm and super friendly service to match. Cappucino was decent, loved the s/o.
This little corner of Darlinghurst goes through rather a bit of a changeover and it’s taken me a while to get to this latest incarnation: A Brewer’s Tale Cafe. The menu looks GREAT with some Asian-influenced items. There’s hot coffee, and cold-drip coffee and various other coffees which makes me embarrassed to just have ordered a large latte. There’s bags of coffee to buy. A real coffee aficionado joint. I've also enjoyed the taro latte here... The matcha hotcakes were a disappointment, but perhaps that's just me (I thought the elements were disparate) but my pal was happy with his stuffed mushroom with a poached egg. Wonderful service, and a very nice atmosphere.
Great food...lovely customer service. I am lucky i like earthing on the menu but try the matcha hotcake it's just the best:) also highly recommend zucchini green pea fritters + smoke salmon ;)
This stylish, funky cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast and lunch . The food is absolutely delicious and there is an amazing choice on the menu. Highly recommend the smashed avo, it bursts with flavour. The muesli is a fresh summers dish and the salmon rush is a good substitute if you do not feel like bread as it is served on hash browns. The coffee is wonderful and the service is outstanding. All in all a wonderful experience!!!
This is an adorable cafe open up to Burton street, a short distance from the busy Taylor Square and Oxford Street. The cafe is decorated with various pot plants, some hanging off the ceiling, some arranged neatly by the entrance, and others as part of table decoration.
We had a matcha latte and a taro latte, both on point and tasted strong in flavours. The bacon and egg roll was served in a round bread roll with spinach and a mild tomato sauce. The yolk burst at the touch of knife tip and produced the perfect eggporn. The size of raisins in the raisin toast was staggering, the saltiness in the butter and sweetness in the fruit worked well together.
It was an enjoyable breakfast after an early trip to the nearby hospital, love to come back and try the lunch menu.

BreakYAY! All four breakfast options were fresh, tasty and well balanced. I did fall in love with their Zucchini and Green Pea Fritters with Smoked Salmon😍✨💖 It was literally the BEST Fritters I've ever had, perfectly cooked, not dry, soft and crisp on the outside it was deliciousness in a plate! And I will return a million times over for them fritters & All Day Breakfast ya'll.
I've been wanting to go to this cafe for a while - the beautiful pictures on instagram have been calling me. The cafe is adorable. It had bench seats, tables and very comfortable cushions. It is beautifully styled with old suitcases, pretty cushions, pot plants, bird cages with chandeliers.
The menu is super cute - like a photo book. The drinks menu is large with milkshakes (including cookies and cream and coconuts caramel), iced drinks, special lattes, cold drip (single origin), acai smoothies, fresh juices, super food smoothies, organic tea and iced tea. I got the 'Super C' which is orange, pineapple and apple'. It was nice and fresh and came out super quick.
For the breakfast options there's so many nice sounding options like matcha hot cakes, brioche french toast or the amazing looking black sesame porridge. There's also big meals like smashed avo, eggs benedict, zucchini and green pts fritters, ricotta stuffed field mushrooms and a breakfast plank. I got the Green breakfast bowl which is organic quinoa, male, haloumi, poached eggs, baby spinach, asparagus, avocado, mushrooms, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, pesto and lemon. What a healthy amazing meal! I'd love to come back sometime for some more breakfast choices. I love that they also sell breakfast all day.
Lunch options are served from 11:30 and there are pastas, sandwiches, pulled pork, beef burgers, grilled salmon and a vegetable stack. I also got a green tea matcha latte - the latte art wasn't as I had hoped but the flavour was on par. The staff were absolutely divine. Super friendly and great service.

A Brewer's Tale Cafe has a whimsical fairytale of food creations full of colour and flavor. The theme is carried perfectly throughout the decor making your visit a relaxing and unique experience. The coffee is some of the best I have had in the area and they also have a range of teas and fresh juices. My favourite breakfast dish was the zucchini and pea fritters with asparagus, make sure you add salmon! The fritters were fluffy and the peas made a delicious combination. The matcha pancakes are a magical creation and if you are a matcha fan do not go past this dish. We also tried the smashed avo with beetroot and poached egg and the French toast. If you are here for lunch my top pick is the pork belly! 5 hours braised pork belly with carrot, apple purée, poached cherry tomato and mashed potato - this is the type of dish you would expect to find in a restaurant. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating and the staff were friendly and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch adventure at a Brewers Tale.
Lovely cafe offering a simple easy menu with very attentive customer service. Street parking is very easy here. I highly recommend the brioche French toast and the black sesame porridge.
Lovely & charming little cafe that I discovered on my way to work looking desperately for a good coffee. I now come almost everyday, quality food and really good coffee with a choice of either a single origin that changes quite often or either a blend. The wait staff is really smily and warm. It's a good place to spend a lazy Sunday morning or any other time you want to feel like you're in a cocoon. Really recommend it!
The food is great! Poached eggs were gooey and perfectly done! HIGHLY recommend the salmon rush, the fritters are really good too! I'm not really a coffee drinker so I didn't order coffee but my friend did and said their coffee is a 10/10 :)
As well as amazing (and strong!) cold drip coffee, they have a menu that's full of old favourites and exciting new breakfast items. Considering it's supposed to be 30 degrees, we opted for a Fruit Bowl and the Salmon Rush. We were told that the salmon was a crowd favourite and can see why! Crispy hash browns topped with generous amounts of smoked salmon and feta... could we want anything more? The fruit was also super fresh and contained honeycomb and pepita seeds for some great textures. Definitely a refreshing start to a muggy day. We really enjoyed this new Darlinghurst cafe and if it wasn't for dastardly work, could easily spend several hours just chilling by one of their outside tables.
A Brewer’s Tale Cafe is a cute, quirky local cafe that can't be missed if you're walking along Burton Street in Darlinghurst. Located just behind the hustle and bustle of the National Art School and a stone throw away from Taylor Square. Recently opened about half a year ago, this new kid on the block is winning hearts of locals and travelers alike.
Thank for lunch ! I really like this coffee shop ❤️ The food and drinks are extremely good. Specially staff are so funny and friendly
I strongly suggest everyone come and try and talk with the staff =

A nice delightful cafe ticking all the boxes without being anything crazy.
The food was good and well priced, delivered in an acceptable time frame to the table.
Service was solid and welcoming.
Charming vintage cafe with plenty of flare. Friendly staff is very welcoming. Especially recommend their green tea latte. Lovely place that's definitely worth a visit =)
Super friendly cafe with delicious food. Make sure you try one of their fabulous blossom teas — Beauty in the Lake pictured here, along with mushroom omelette and meatballs.
Amazing coffee and the fritters were prob the best I’ve had in a while. Not greasy or oily, just crispy and right. The staff were so nice and accommodated to our large group. Thankyou!
A quaint cafe offering a quiet and peaceful brunch experience. It’s a little hot and sunny sitting outdoors, with not many seating options inside. Food is nicely presented and the desserts are a must try!

Such a little gem of a place.
The food is incredible and smoothies are very good.
I visit Brewers Tale every day for my coffee and often for my lunch. The coffee is always great and consistent in flavour. The food is always delicious.
I've been here a few times and the service is always wildly attentive. Consider this place the alternative to the very hippity hoppity (and now franchised) Rusty Rabbit. Same coffee, same toast but different attitude. Very close to the art school, which is nice. They finally brought out the mustard, which almost cut the mustard but still isn't the Masterfoods, red lidded, eye watering type but it's not 1961 and the ways of Roast Beef and yellow condiment are forever changed! (Deep breath) Go here while it's still quiet.
Oh, and leave a tip if you can.
