Located near Central Station. I stopped by for a coffee whilst I was in the vicinity. I had a Mocha and it was well presented and tasted really nice. The service was friendly.
My friend and I ate at Roys Café on Saturday afternoon was very pleasant with the sun and breeze outside, we both had the chicken schnitzel with chips salad and gravy sauce, great portion size and was $16. Staff were friendly I will return again.
Stopped here for lovely coffee on a freezing cold winters morning. The outside area is so cosy and warm that I didn't want to leave..... perfect!! Great little spot not far from central station. Haven't eaten here so cannot comment on the food.
Roy's Cafe near Central in Sydney is a cafe I visit every time I am catching a coach from Central, usually to my parent's place down the South Coast. I have generally found that the cafes close to Central are mostly all incredibly average or worse but this has been my preferred place for a couple of years now.
It is attached to the WAKE ME UP Backpackers and they conveniently (for me) share toilets. I always eat something light then go to the toilet before boarding the coach which takes off literally across the road. A definite venue of convenience. I even took my mum there once before putting her on a coach, and she found it perfectly acceptable.
The coffee is decent, the staff are passable although I am certain they are all backpackers with limited to no care about there job and the venue is fine. It is mostly an outdoor covered area on the corner of George and Pitt at the Central convergence.
Mum loved her standard scrambled eggs on toast. I have eaten bacon and eggs and loved it and also had their bacon and egg brekky roll. All of it is standard and there is nothing fancy or adventurous in their menu but it serves its purpose and it tastes AOK. I will continue to eat here as a venue of convenience.
Decided to try this cafe after university classes with a friend, and found it very close to Central Station which was a convenient plus. Went on a Tuesday afternoon and found it relatively quiet, with a nice inviting atmosphere. Decided to seat outside, and found it quite nice, not too noisy with some sunlight.
Tried their iced chocolate (average price around $5) and didn't have any issues with it, although I found too much ice in it, and a little too much sweetness. Overall, it served a decent iced chocolate, and may consider coming back to try the food.
Super breakfast. My wife spotted this place and it didn't disappoint. The soy lattes were great as was the service. I had a variation of Eggs Benedict served on lentils and mushrooms; my wife had traditional Eggs B. Both were delicious. We're here for a couple of more days and will definitely be back.
Cha and I were up in Sydney for the weekend, staying in Darling Harbour, and we needed a quick breakfast before a full day of things to do. Wake Up was just fine.
Lovely cafe. Lovely little Cafe with affordable prices and convinent location, however very little indoor seating. They do full breakfast until 4 pm and I personally highly recommend their amazing crunchy hash brown tower with spinach, tomato and bacon.
I was staying in a hotel nearby, which served inedible breakfast, so I decided to check this place. The staff was a bit too serious, but food was great and reasonably priced. Will be back.
Awesome 'Wake Up!'. This was an awesome breakfast cafe that is well hidden. We were walking around for ages for somewhere to eat for breakfast around Haymarket/Ultimo area and this was the ONLY decent place. We wanted a BIG brekky and we go exactly that. It is pretty damn good :)
