Thankfully others before us became sick of waiting and we got in quicker than expected! Really enjoyed the food and the view. It’s clear why this place is so popular. On a different day I might not have found it worth the wait as it isn’t THAT good, but it’s certainly a lovely spot.
Located right at Kirribilli Wharf, the views here are second to none. The atmosphere is very cosy and minimalist.
Crispy hashbrown waffles -9/10
Celsius breakfast - 9/10
Hands down one of the best mushrooms and generous servings I have had. Perfect poached eggs oozing gold as you slice it open.
The drinks are quite expensive for the serving size, but I am more than willing to come back and try other dishes on the menu!
Real rating: 7.8/10
The view was a little disappointing as we expected more from the hype about this place. However with that being said the chai latte and Mac and cheese toastie was done nicely and was generally enjoyable. However for a total of $20+, it would have made sense if the setting was better.
Order:
1. Celsius waffle
2. Burrata & mushrooms
3. The Benedict
4. Herbed chicken breast burger
Located in a stunning location just by the wharf, the restaurant is in a perfect spot for photos. The place itself is quite small, so larger groups would like to either book in advance or split up. The best seats with the view is for 2 people.
We arrived around 11am on a Friday and it was quite busy. We waited for about 30 minutes for a table for 4.
The food is absolutely delicious. Everything was seasoned well and presented beautifully. The drinks are a little on the smaller side, but that was ok.
Overall, highly recommend this restaurant.
Definitely recommend! Due to the restrictions we had to wait 45 mins for a table but let me tell you well worth the wait. We got a mushroom and cheese toastie with miso butter on to snack on while we waited and it was 👌🏼 and the breakfast I had chilly eggs and my parent had there breakfast plate can not fault, the staff were also beyond friendly and welcoming- so good will be back again.
Amazing view with good food! It was worth the travel! Can’t wait to go back!
Been here months back, I ordered the waffles and they were beautifully plated and tasted fluffy, and delicious. Some of the fruit were sour or not in season but can't do much for that problem. My friend got the eggs benedict and she enjoyed her meal. The hot chocolate was nice and not too sweet. The view is nice and relaxing too. It does get busy, so I recommend to come early and not around lunch time for a good seat and not so long wait. I would recommend and will come back.
Celsius Coffee Co was such an unique experience! A cafe right at Kirribilli Wharf hanging over the shore. A bit small, but cosy atmosphere which had such a beautiful aesthetic. The food was super unique and amazing. I had tried the Crispy Hash Brown Waffle which was topped with smoked salmon, poached eggs and a generous serving of avocado. The combination of all the components just melt in your mouth!
The coffee was also amazing, the menu shows you the details of the coffee including its unique taste and notes. Wish I had ordered a large instead if a regular! Would definitely come back! The line is a bit long, so I would recommend coming in early and not too hungry!
Really cute set up! Had the Celsius waffles with berries on top, that was really delicious and not too sweet. However, coffee is not the best, cappuccino is on the bitter side and could be improved. Good place overall.
A very small cafe located by the warf with a nice view if you get a good seat. Service was quick and friendly and food was good too. Servings are a little small for the price you pay but flavors are delicious. Coffee and drinks were also good.
Such a lovely little place right on the water. Very friendly staff with quick service make for a great experience with tumbling tummies dealt with in almost no time at all.
Will certainly be going back!
The view is on point! But the food is okay..Well you can’t get both.
Well, where do you start? A small cafe with a long que. Just for the location it is The Place to be when in Kirribilli. Unique location with a unique set up and good menu. We loved the whole package of this trendy cafe.

I visited this place a while back! The waffles were amazing and I loved the peanut butter flavour to it. The service was good and the food came out quick. I had no issue on the day and I would definitely recommend
Arrived at 8.30 and waited for 30mins. We ordered two Celcius Breakfast and the food came in 5 mins and they were cold. Very average food & coffee. 4 stars because of friendly staffs and great view.
Super hyped wharf cafe with nice water view - very small space given its massive popularity. Pancakes were one of the best I've had #mascarpone always makes dessert better, decorated aesthetically with berries and syrup. Toast was done well with soft benny and tasty tender cooked meat. Place is worth the hype
Very chillax place, all the food, drink and service are perfect. The cafe is quite small but cozy, people are friendly. We enjoyed our time there so much and definitely will come back.
❤️: we loved the view! Almost every seat in the restaurant offers a great ocean scene, we even spotted a few dolphins while we were enjoying our brunch. It is especially nice on the day we came as the sun brightened the entire room!
🍴: I enjoyed my waffle, the presentation was gorgeous with colours, and edible flowers- pleasing to the eyes and stomach!
The only downside I would say is the size of the restaurant, it gets quite busy and therefore it can get quite squishy.
Located by the sea, Celcius Coffee Co presents a wonderful and calming atmosphere to enjoy brunch. The place was full and there were not many seats so we had to wait a bit before getting a table. The service was quite friendly and the food came in a timely manner.
The coffee was really smooth, definitely a favorite!
The food was simply out of this world. I had the Hash Brown Waffle and it was not what I expected. The savory hash brown waffle that is not too greasy, perfectly poached egg, smooth avocado with crushed pine nuts to add some crunch, delicious smoked salmon which creates a magnificent, perfectly flavoured dish from a variety of fresh ingredients. It is very different from any other brunch dishes that I’ve tried anywhere else.
Overall, dining in Celcius Coffee was an unforgetable experience and the best brunch I have ever had. Looking forward to come back and try more things offered here :)
Nice little hidden gem surrounded by the sea. Abit hard to find parking but well worth the trip. We had the Celscius Breakfast and Celscius waffle, The breakfast is pretty average wouldn’t say its the best nor worst. The waffle had more of a pancake texture but overall very good. Worth the trip if in the area
Dirty chai 4.5/5 (if you ask them for weak chai, otherwise too much chai not enough coffee)
Lamb Benedict 4/5
Only cause one of the poached eggs was partially cooked through
Atmosphere 5/5
Service 5/5
One of my top cafes so far, would come back every morning if I lived or worked closer 😢
This was on my bucket list since forever. Finally made it during the long weekend. The first thing you notice is the beautiful beautiful view. The cafe itself is very small & it was a bit of a wait. With the beautiful weather & view we didn’t really mind the 30 min wait. Now the food, we tried the braised lamb benedict & the waffle. The waffle was really good but the lamb was a tad bit dry but everything else was really good. If you are expecting cozy & comfort this is not the cafe but if you are expecting good food & amazing view this is definitely the one ! Highly recommend .
Here we are sitting at Celsius after a short wait for our table admiring our beautiful harbour. You are sitting on their on top of the water. As our tea (tea craft ) and coffee (ona) come along people all round are snapping pics of their breakfast.
My Poke bowl was so beautifully crafted that it looked like Spring in a bowl was presented to me. The cured egg yolk was runny and the rear of the Japanese influenced ingredients provided freashness and texture. The Celsius Breakfast was well appreciated as well with smoked back. , avo, mushrooms and Swiss cheese.
Have wanted to come here for a while, today's visit did not disappoint at all. We walked straight in and got a table (probably coz it's a weekday), coffee and food came out pretty quickly too. The view is fantastic, a great place to unwind and our dishes were really tasty. Will definitely come back again.
To start off, the presentation is out of this world 🤩 The taste and flavour of the food is something like no other. The view is amazing as the cafe is literally sitting over water. A whole bunch of positive comments I have to say. The place is also very convenient as it is located right next to a ferry station where you can easily get a ferry to Circular Quay.
Only downside is that the cafe is so small and a bit crowded. You always have to wait before you can have a seat and the wait does get a bit boring as you aren’t around much but houses. 🤷🏻♀️
My Ratings:
Taste 10/10
Presentation 10/10
Environment 9.5/10
Service 9/10
Price 7/10
Waiting Time - Roughly half an hour for two seats around noon on a weekday.
Came here on a very fine sunny day for brunch.
Very crowded even during weekdays, small space with amazing view.
Ordered :
Celcius waffle with berries and maple syrup : 3/5 (beautiful presentation but a little sweet for me)
Heritage tomatoes : 5/5 (very good choice if you’re bored with meats)
Celsius breakfast : 5/5 (typical breakfast but good quality)
Bacon and egg roll : 4/5
Good quality coffee as there is no effect for caffeine sensitive people.
Staff are very friendly and attentive.
Very recommended!
One of the most prettiest cafes ive ever been too!
Food is great and comes quick! Highlight is their signature waffles.
Coffee was average; slightly higher drink prices than normal.
Expect long waiting times as the cafe is quite small and popular.
Their service is ok, although putting your names down on the waiting list should have a better system as most people didnt know what to do or the lady in charge was doing too many things at once.
Overall, great place to bring friends from overseas, or a great weekend out.
Food: 9/10
Service: 7/10
Ambience: 10/10
Came here on a lovely day with the gf and ordered the freshly pressed watermelon juice and the pork belly bun, and she ordered the waffles. Even though its a trek to walk to the pier but its worth the food and the ambience with its natural sea surrounding. Recommended for mostly brunch and midday meals.
Nice cafe next to Kirribilli wharf, great service, but to get the nice view for photo, you will need a lot of patience. Food are also delicious, great coffee.
Not easy to find a parking over that area, I will suggest go by public transport, take the train and get off at Milsons Point station and it’s an easy 15 mins walk to the cafe, then leave the place by ferry and back to Circular Quay, and you can go to the Rocks market, opera house and Royal Botanic Garden.
This place is known for its view, which is undoubtedly stunning. But surprisingly, the food was cooked to perfection.
The waffles were crunchy and soft, and every element of that dish complimented them beautifully. Billy's eggs was the ideal choice for breakfast, the cherry tomatoes were the best I've ever had. The watermelon juice was refreshing and the cappuccino succeed in keeping my sleep deprived self awake.
The only downside to this place is the waiting. It could go up to hours, even on weekdays. Unfortunately, they do not allow reservations.
We were there on a Saturday morning so luckily avoided long queues. Had the renowned pancake and burrata cheese, both quite nice. I think everyone is here for the ridiculously beautiful view, which surely won’t fail you.
amazing view by the waters, may feel a slight breeze! very small location since it’s near the ferry stop, but super worth the long wait as food & coffee was amazing! would definitely go again if visiting sydney :)
Brunch by the sea~! We stumbled across this brunch place after seeing posts on IG and it was definitely worth the hype! We ordered the benedict and spiced wallaby. The braised lamb from the benedict was top notch, cooked to perfection. The view of the sea was stunning and made our experience in Sydney a special one. It is recommended that you arrive super early if you want a seat by the sea. We waited for around 1.5hrs but you can put your name down and take a stroll to the kirribilli wharf and watch ferries come in and out in the meantime~!However after having these two amazing plates, it was all worth the wait. Highly recommended if you love brunch and you’re in Sydney 💙
my friend took me there and she highly recommended the food and chai latte. it turned out the food is unexpectedly nice. they are especially good at how to make a distinct flavour. all the ingredients are quite normal, which could be found basically in every cafe, but since they kind of add successfully some sweet into the sauce, the whole thing taste like twice better than they usually look like.
I visited the place earlier today for Brunch.
Location & Access 4/5
Great location is up point very unique place that looks like floating on top of the water. We arrived at around 10:30ish. we have to wait for a while (10mins or less) didn't wait for that long. Limited seating and it's quite congested. The place is great for 2-3 people.
Close to station get off at Milsons Point station followed google map we walk(10-15mns) from station to Kirribilli Wharf. Easy to find as its next to the Wharf.
Food. 4/5
We ordered "The Celsius Breakfast" - love it! looks light but makes me full til late arvo. I definitely love the relish/spread on the sourdough makes it a perfect blend and "The Benedict" . lamb is perfectly cooked.
Not much of a variety to choose from. Coffee 5/5Love the coffee. strong and dark its not overpowering with milk. very artistic latte art. (photo not available as I drank it as soon as it arrived lol)
1. Location & Ambience & service 4.5/5
Absolutely, there selling point is it’s location - a tiny cafe just around the corner of the ferry station and somehow looks like floating on the water.
So ‘abnormal’ place would be a plus up.
But the dinning area is soooo tiny, limited seating and quite congested tables. But how lucky we are! Having had the best table of them!
Waiting for sooo long to be seated, roughly 1 hour? Yeah that true but the services is awesome.
2. Food & coffee 4/5
If I remembered correctly, they don’t do almond mike~~ but the latte art is cute I like it ~~
Food?
The waffle is not bad, with fresh eatable flowers and nice topping on the top. The texture of the bread is awesome too.
Another one, Awwww, to be frank, the food is not that attractive to me. All ingredients are good through, called burrata & Mushroom 🍄. I can’t point something wrong, it is just not taste good.
Overall, should be 4-5 range
Yum!This cafe is not only beautiful and buzzy, but has top notch food. Visited on a cold, wintery day so the queues were not as hectic as expected. I would be a little deterred usually by having to wait in line. So choose your times and days wisely!Staff were friendly and I will definitely return.
nice view
Too many people long queue
Nice pancake and presentation
The service is fine
I may come next time
Why it has to be more than 140 charater is really annoying
Place has great views of the ocean and sunrise views but gets super crowded by 8.30am on the weekends. Food tastes great, very instagram friendly but be prepared for not much space in the cafe.
A small cafe located on the sea next to the ferry stop. The place is narrow but well decorated (Mediterranean style). all food here is organic, fresh and health. If u re meat lover, try their cold smoked salmon, if I wanna try something fresh, try eggs on the wharf with their home made cheese. Waffle tastes soooo good!! Definitely will come back again.
Absolutely love everything about this place. The amazing vibrant view of the ocean and the wharf. Friendly owner who is like a second mum to their customers. Couldn’t ask for a better start of a perfect weekend.
Everyone heading to Kirribilli will seemingly visit this cafe. It has attractive sea view which is the reason. Although I went there on weekdays single, at least half-an-hour waiting time was still required. So...be prepared to wait. The view was absolutely good, compared with it, the food was slightly inferior. The mocha was not dense and lack of chocolate. The pork belly hotdog was great. The belly was fried which reduced many calories and thus the pork belly was not greasy at all. The apple chutney aside had a ginger taste which was unique. After that I had iced chocolate which was good as well. In general, the whole experience was satisfying with the cozy environment and friendly staff.
Fabulous cafe! We shared the Celsius Breakfast and the Waffle which were both absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. Service was great as well. Only con is that they do not take reservations so we did not get a table with a view of the water (which is one of the main reasons we chose to come to this cafe).
Located right next to the ferry terminal, is this small quaint cafe. The view from it is beautiful no doubt and the waffles are to die for, I would just suggest to invest in some higher/slightly bigger tables as it is a bit awkward when the plates are almost as big as the table itself.
Was super excited about visiting this place after seeing their instaworthy food pics. Totally lived up to that expectation with the addition of it being yummylicious. The only negative would be that this cafe is quite small and on the wharf (no reservations allowed) and hence there would be a long wait for a table during busy times. However, the staff is very courteous and ensure that all the customers get a table even if it exceeds their closing time.
Trekked it all the way here to try their food with the views! Small little cafe situated right next to the ferry wharf. They have limited seating. They also offer a decent range of brunch food and drinks to choose from. We opted for the pork belly hot dog and the waffles. The hot dog was pretty good, the bread was soft, the sauce was tasty and the pork belly was cooked quite well. Didn’t really have a hotdog taste to it, but it felt like it was one of those buns you buy from breadtop. The waffles were so good! I am not normally a waffle person, but this one was tasty and not bland at all. The peanut butter cream tasted soo good! They give you a decent amount to eat with the waffle and lots of fruits! For the price you pay, it is definitely worth it for the quality. Service was also very friendly, quick and efficient. Definitely a good experience and would come back!
I had gone there after seeing the location viewed and it was all worth it. However, we had to wait for 30 mins to get a table next to the window but no regrets. The waffle was so beautifully plated with strawberries, blueberries and flowers and the coffee was average. Must visit once.
this place is BEAUTIFUL , located just ontop of the water , in/next to the water. Ontop of all this the service was friendly and fast and the food portions were surprisingly large and delicious. Such a nice place!
One of the best cafes in Sydney. Exceptional service and great view. Variety on the menu.
We ordered the superb greens, wagyu beef burger and the waffles. All delicious and can't fault any of the dishes!
The wagyu was cooked perfectly and the waffles were an amazing end to the meal.
Service was great and definitely one of my favourite cafes in Sydney
Had to wait 30 minutes for a table but nevertheless the food, coffee and view were amazing. 👍🏻 Would recommend getting there earlier in the morning as opposed to closer to lunch.
Arrived at 8:30am to get a seat and the view was wonderful. I decided to try out the waffle to see what the hype was about and it was mind blowing! Loved how beautiful and how nice it tasted. The peanut butter cream was the highlight of the dish. Definitely a great experience.
Peanut butter waffles were amazing! And with such a lovely view, what's not to love about this place!?Well...the wait time can be quite long if you don't go early. So go early!
Amazing view! Very cute, tucked away on the ferry wharf. Service was good and efficient. Seating was small, so if visiting on a busy weekend you might wait some time before getting a spot. Monday at 10am was a good time to arrive.
Soy Latte & Masala Chai Tea: perfect
I ordered the breakfast greens (vegan+eggs) which was absolutely delicious. The lime avocado purée was amazing and the seed crumble gave a nice texture. The kale was cooked so well I could eat a bowl of just that. I asked for eggs poached well done and they were exactly that.
My partner ordered Billies Eggs. She enjoyed her meal equally as I enjoyed mine.
Con: There was a tiny bug wrapped up in my kale leaves. I wasn’t bothered but I know some may be.
Overall a really great breakfast/brunch location. Decent for vegetarians and vegans.
Excellent coffee and impressed that they use Ona beans for their coffee. Food well prepared. A bit of a tight squeeze and often long waits for table but well worth it
Another tiny but cosy cafe tucked near the kirribilli wharf. This cafe is wonderful, the food is very tasty and would not disappoint, the service is great and even though it’s tiny, the view is amazing. it’s a cafe with a good water view. It’s a fair walk from the station but it’s worthy. Going down the stairs is a bit smelly but when you reach the cafe, it’s nothing to worry about. Fairly priced and highly recommended.
Here goes my first review on Zomato, ever.
HAD to do it because the food is that good.
Ordered Burrata and Mushroom. Perfectly seasoned & appropriately priced.
And I drank Flat white, decent amount of caffeine, just what I needed at 0800 on a Tuesday.
The place is SOO BEAUTIFUL I love it. Perfectly situated at Kirribili wharf.
*Bonus point: They played Sam Smith playlist so EXTRA LOVE FROM ME xoxo
Thank you for making my Tuesday morning!
Will definitely come back!
On a Sunday morning, you crave for a delicious cafe food or a heavy brunch. This place is the definition of delicious cafe food and a heavy brunch. Baring the wait time, which indicates the popularity of this place the food and location is A1. Friends ordered the waffles and billys egg. Waffles unlike other cafes was not overly sweet, i.e. just the right amount of sweetness. The sourdough of the billy's egg was something unique and delicious by itself. I got the 'benedict'. Love the eggs and the bread, surprise addition of lamb. Something different, was a little chewy and the portion size debatable. But would still recommend it. Billy's egg would probably be the winner. Need to go there one more time.
It's been a while to back in Sydney. I'm glad that he first meal was at Celsius with a great view than I expected!!
It's just located at Kirribilli Ferry stop which is easy access, staffs are friendly and I love the cozy ambience. I had green salad plate&pancakes. Fresh and yummy. Those were very delicious, best spot for chilling!
This place is just located at the Kirribilli wharf. A unique cafe on top of the water. People are lining up to get seats beside the water to get that special experience, most of the seats are for 2 people, this cafe is small. For me the food were alright, i’d recommend the beautiful waffle if you are a sweet tooth.
Amazing food with amazing views, however it is quite popular so I waited 2.5hrs for a table. You may not get the window seat unless you are willing to wait a bit longer. I enjoyed the food and everything was great, but I won’t come back again because I don’t like waiting 😫
Lovely cafe right on the edge of the wharf in Kirribilli - about a 5-10 minute walk from Milson’s Point station. We had to wait around 20 mins for our table but it was worth it - I had the greens breakfast and my husband had the eggs with Greek yogurt and onion jam, everything was just delicious!
The view from the wharf is so nice here on a warm sunny day.
We tried the Celsius waffle and Burrata & Mushrooms. My favourite was definitely the waffles! The presentation was amazing and almost too pretty to eat. These waffles with the delicious peanut butter cream are a must try at Celsius!
Celsius Coffee Co is an Instagrammer’s dream. Located on Kirribilli wharf overlooking Sydney harbour with dishes that are almost too pretty to eat, I was in Instagram heaven!. We visited Celsius Coffee Co on a Tuesday morning at 7AM which meant that we practically had the whole place to ourselves! With a really rustic and cosy vibe, we especially chose a seat right near the water so treat ourselves to the gorgeous Sydney views! (And get some great photos of course)
I've been twice now. Went here for brunch for 2 people and although seating was available in little 15 minutes , we turned it down, willing to wait an hour for a table nesr the window with the spectacular views. After waiting, we ordered cappuccinos, super greens breakfast (+ bacon) and the celsius waffles with berries and maple syrup to share. The coffee was good and the meal was satisfying with perfectly poached eggs and crispy bacon but the waffles were definitely the standout ! It was absolutely delicious and with the peanut butter cream! Staff was polite and service was good. They are always busy so of you're going to visit and are wanting to be seated with views, be prepared to wait and possibly avoid weekends! But otherwise , such a nice and relaxing ambience. Definitely recommend this place!
My top three good place in sydeny.
If I have friend come to sydeny to visit me,I will take them to here! Must be!!!
Great food nice shop awesome view ,and very very kind of waitress and waiter.
What a cute little cafe. Super cost on the small tables. Got here at 1:30 pm on a Friday and got a table straight away. I had the super greens breakfast. Simple but done well. Very enjoyable and fresh. My friend got the pork hot dog dish. It was a big slice of juicy pork instead of normal sausage hot dog. I had a bite and the meat was super soft with lots of flavour. Service was great. We were checked on a few times to make sure everything was fine and we didn't need anything else.
Long wait but worth it, the views are stunning. It is easy to get to, you can come via train and walk or via ferry. I loved the pancakes! They are so pretty and tasty. Coffee here is wonderful, and the service is fast and friendly. Even though they are very busy the food does come out quickly.
The location is pretty smart.
It's a drop off point of the ferry going to Kirribilli.
Nice view, although it was cloudy and drizzling today.
It gets really busy around 10-11am.
The pancake was so good, even though I'm not a fan of peanut butter.
The coffee is great as well.
The staff are very accommodating and friendly. 👍🏻👍🏻
Then, you can walk down to the park with beautiful jacarandas, like 10-15minutes.
[Review Is For Takeaway Coffee Only]
You may not ever find this place; today it was entirely blocked by a skip bin truck and you basically had to sidle, down the side of the truck to get to the walkway to the wharf-and-cafe.
The coffee here is decent and the service is very good, but methinks you’ll be coming for the view, and a quick takeaway before climbing on the ferry or continuing on your merry... way
If you're after a richer experience; Get a table “inside” and enjoy the $17 smashed avo institution that is Sydney “fine dining”; seriously are they putting gold flakes on that or what?
Beautiful views. Coffee was great - they use Ona beans as well! Food was okay... I ordered the original chilli but found bits of egg shells in my poached eggs and couldn't taste any chilli. For those with bubs, try not to bring your pram. There is hardly any space for prams and no ramp, just stairs. I would still recommend this place to other mums and bubs though because of the coffee and views
Very unique place. Location is amazing . Every seat has a window and ocean view. So this is not one of those gimmicky places where only a selected seats gets a good view, while others have no good view at all.
We visited on a Friday morning, around 9.30am, and understandably, there was a queue. But two person tables becomes available faster, so this is a great place for a couples breakfast. We were lucky to find parking as well quickly , but I don’t think that’s the usual case around here. Roadside parking is not metered.
Staff was very friendly, food was great as well.
The location and view is great, just on the jetty as you get off the ferry. The food is decent, brunch pricing. Coffee was amazing though. Service was good despite the crowded cafe. Definitely worth visiting
Delicious food and amazing service. Very welcoming and talented staff. Thank you for going out your way and making the prana chai with a shot of coffee. Definitely recommend it, it was divine.
