The quality of the meat was amazing and the non meat dishes tasted how you would normally get at korean restaurants so no complaints there!

Every time im in the city with friends I love coming here. We have yet to try the bbq because the entrees we order are so much and by the time we finish this we are all full my favourite will be the cheese corn wow yum cannot get enough
If you are looking for a kbbq to dine! And is craving for good quality meat, then this is the place to go to! Very friendly and good service! - the waiter serve and cook your meat for you! And is very attentive! There were also so many variety of side dishes too! The atmosphere was just the best vibe you could possibly ask for!!! Definitely, I will be coming back for me! Hehe

It's nice to have a restaurant feel at home with amazing Korean BBQ and Cold Noodles 😋. Will need to visit the restaurant when we are able to dine again.
All you need is a electric grill and you can still enjoy the greatness of BBQ meat in the comfort of your own home.
Great quality meats and best of all amazing service. Staff came by a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed, checked the meats, and gave refills. Will be back many more times!
My colleagues and I ordered fried chicken, ddeokbokki, steamed egg, kimchi pancake, and several wagyu beef for bbq. All of them were superb! The waiters were kind, friendly, and funny. The best thing was that the 10 of us came with no booking, and they just welcomed us directly; unlike two restaurants that asked us to wait but did not tell us how long.
Great place for kbbq and hotpot. Prices are fairly reasonable for the quality of food and service that you get. We got a combination of dsishes including 2 sets of meat for kbbq, hotpot and the kimchi rice to share between four people, this was definitely more than needed!!!! There was a great selection of traditional korean side dishes that came with our BBQ (which were free to refill!). Will certainly be back next time i'm in town.
This is a pretty good spot for Korean bbq. We had the wagyu platter which were pretty good and the service was great as they came over regularly to cook and check the meat for us. The steamed eggs were also really good. The restaurant does get quite busy so make a booking beforehand.
This is a great place for Korean BBQ. The food is good quality and the customer service is extremely great! The waiter would cook BBQ for you. Highly recommend!
Food has been bloody excellent here every time I've eaten here. I always end up getting the wagyu bbq combo, its pricey but you get what you pay for, the quality of the meat is always great.
The soups are so goddamn good and the wings aint bad either. Ambiance is usually loud and lively but its korean bbq so you expect that! staff are attentive even when its busy and the big guy in charge is a legend and always remembers our faces and says hello. 100% 11/10 would recommend!
Only my second time here and I can say that I’m impressed with their service! They were so attentive and very helpful in helping us to cook the meat, changing the grills and even taking photos. Before arriving, I made sure to book a table for 6pm because I know this place is popular. Luckily I did because tables filled up quite quickly as soon as we were seated. Phew!
My friend and I came here and ordered an option that were for three or four people. Our mistake. It started out good, food was great nonetheless, we just got WAY too much for two people. Customer service was good and it was my first experience where they come and cook it for you which was pretty cool. Would come back...with more people.
Great service, and meat was decent the stove we had acted up and was hard to get attention when it was busy. The spicy pork really had a kick but a great surprise.
The meat platter was bigger than expected. We struggled to finish the meatfest between the three girls, and we were hungry. Great value, excellent meat and the banchan was generous and fresh. Only two wine options on their list- not sure if they offer byo. Great ambience, although the laminated menu is due for a new print.
Great new KBBQ in the 1909 precinct of Haymarket. The place is clean and well ventilated.
This is a full charcoal kbbq so you know you'll be getting maximum flavour when cooking. Quality of meat is very good and portion size is quite reasonable. The beef platter for 3 was enough to feed 8 people once we added 2 extra bbq items, seafood pancake and cheese tteokbokki. Also include was a steamed egg bowl.
The side dishes were plentiful and really nice, my favourite were the seaweed and kimchi.
Service is good however it felt kind of rushed. They almost cleared out all the bbq without cooking all the meat. A tad on the pricier side to kbbq but you're getting quality meat.

Straight up meat heaven right here. We have ordered 2 different premium wagyu beef cuts and they were both fatty and juicy to max.
Deckle and Flap Tail
They were almost similar in terms of fattiness while one has a stronger beef taste than the other. The meat was brought to us pink and fresh and the staff even prepared and cooked them on the charcoal stove for us. .
The meat also came with 2 pieces of pumpkin and corn , a lot of side dishes, kimchi, and lettuce for you to wrap your meat in .
The cuts cost like $42 and $39 respectively and I think they worth the price. They also have more affordable beef cuts, as well as a wide range of pork and chicken options. They also have a list of lunch deals which only available until 3pm and some rice / noodles / soup dishes too if you are into more hearty carb based dishes.
I think it's one of the best Korean BBQ I have ever had in Sydney, much better than other well known Korean restaurants down the street. I would highly recommend you to come here for a great feast. p.s. platters are also available if you have a group of 3+ people and they costs from $80 - $130 depending on the quality of beef that you are after.
Ordered the beef platter for 3 and a ginseng chicken soup. The side dishes are plentiful and absolutely delicious. The soup is authentic and tasted fantastic. The beef cuts (except the ox tongue and marinated beef) are slightly thick (with muscles) and slightly difficult to chew and swallow. The staff are friendly and service is good. But it’s best to cook yourself if you don’t want the meat to get too burnt/cooked. Overall, the experience and food are great. We will definitely be back again.
High quality meat and super friendly service. The staff will walk around to check that you are satisfied. Can also park inside Market City and they will validate your parking.
Excellent service, good quality meat and cheesy rice cakes/chicken. The area is very well lit, ventilated and spacious. Staff will always help you cook and cut meat. We got the cheesy rice cakes and wagyu platter which came with complimentary steamed egg, was plenty of food to feed 2-3 people and roughly $167. Best to come with a small group to try different dishes. Prices are a little expensive for bbq but still worth a try. Will be coming back to try their chicken!
The third floor of Market City in Haymarket has been transformed into a food haven and our destination on a Friday evening is the new Korean BBQ joint – KOGI. The L-shaped dining area is recognisable as Korean BBQ with exhaust pipes hanging from the ceiling and mental grill pans cut into the centre of the tables. A laminated menu has one side for BBQ meat and the other for favourite Korean dishes.
The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Affordable and large meals. Food is very tasty. Definitely recommend the beef platter!
Finally I found a nice place that does Spicy cheesy chicken and ramen .... OMG looks and taste so good. Their bento boxes were really good as well ... Make sure you get the braised ribs ... So good.
Great service. Tasty food. Generous servings of side dishes. Wagyu platter was high quality. Loved the garlic and soy chicken. Liked that I could book ahead for a table of 9 on a Saturday night and guy on the phone was very friendly and spoke perfect English.
Excellent Wagyu quality. The serving size is on the generous side as well. The price range is similar to 678 kbbq and it is better. Wagyu quality is better, pork on par, and Kogi has excellent soup with very generous serving size.
This place gets quite popular, so we came early to beat the crowd. The staff helps with the bbq but they are not super reliable. Really enjoyed the beef and the side dishes. Fast and friendly service. Definitely will come back again.

I have probably been to Kogi a bit too many times in the last few weeks. To start off - The customer service there is amazing, the waiters would OFFER to fill up your side dishes for you when they see that we have finished them , which hardly happens in other korean places that I have been to. The food was normal priced but portions are quite massive and really well flavoured. I have yet to try their bbq but highly recommend the Galbitang (Beef ribs soup) and their gamjatang (pork bone soup)
Friendly service and they also cook for you and take the hot coals away very promptly. We had the $149 wagyu beef platter for 3 females and we were well fed, including complimentary fluffy egg omelette, and unlimited helpings of so many ban chan dishes which surrounded the hot plate in a complete circle. When we got refills a couple were totally different dishes so lots of variety. Best of all their ventilation worked well so I didn't smell of meat afterwards. Highly recommend!
In love with the food and service here. The food is amazing and the meat is very fresh. Their kimchi pancake is to die for. The staff are very attentive and friendly as well. One of my new favourite Korean restaurants.
Food: it’s new korean in town and it’s on 3rd floor of the newly renovated market city. Food is amazing and generous with the portion. I’ve ordered the pork platter for 3 but trust me it can feed 4 or more people. They’re really generous with the meat and it only cost $75. The kimchi pancake is with generous kimchi instead of the 70/30 ratio of flour to kimchi. The bone soup is amazing too. With a feast for 6 the total bill came in at $108 how worthy
Service: they’re really good to help you cook your food but when it’s busy expect to do it yourself or else your food will get burn.
Price: new establishment and price is fair. This Korean place looks very high class instead of the normal fixture
I have been to many Korean BBQ restaurants, but this one is the cleanest. It's a brand new shop on level 3 Market city. They not only offer BBQ, but also a range of lunch specials like lunch box and hot stone bowls.
I went there for BBQ. The ideal number of friends to go with is 3. As they offer {PLATTER for 3}, which is a good choice if you want to have a taste of almost every choice on the menu. The beef platter looks nice. And you don't need to cook the meat by yourself. Staff will come around and cook it. Though the staff look like novices and are not pretty good at cooking it.
The {pork bone & potato hot pot} is my favourite, though a bit expensive. Pork was super nice, and the spicy level is acceptable.
{Seafood pancake} is super huge and thick, but looks ugly :(
Anyway it's a nice Korean restaurant in terms of deco and dining experience.
One of the most memorable Korean BBQ experience in a long long long time! The premium cuts of meat on their Wagyu Platter are just divine with essential rice bowls and noodle dishes sitting very reasonably around the $15 mark. My first visit to the 1909 precinct since it opened, it's set a high standard for me for the next time I go back to visit.
The $10 lunch box (bottom right of first page) is so good! There’s a lot of variety in there, I’d get it again! The restaurant is clean and spacious.
New Korean BBQ joint serving premium quality meat. Tried the premium wagyu platter and was not disappointed, the meat was juicy and good quality. The seafood pancake, tteokbokki, bibimbap and japchae were delicious with very authentic flavours. A must try is the beef short rib stew, the meat was tender and full of flavour! Great service and staff are more than happy to help you cook the meat.
Dinner was nice and tasty. Unlimited refills for side dishes. Meat quantity came out more than expected compared to other places. Meat was juicy. Ordered pork jowl and the wagyu platter. It nice that it was a charcoal grill which gave the meat more flavour than using electric or gas stoves. Smoke wasn’t much of a problem and didn’t come out smelling like bbq.
Authentic korean bbq place. My non-korean friends also love this place. Friendly and attentive staffs which I like most. Seems like there is a time limit for your meal (1 and half hour? idk)You must try the seafood tofu soup and chilled noodle soup and dont be shy to use scissors to cut your food!
Great spot with both kbbq and all your favourite Korean dishes like KFC, steamed egg, japchae, kimchi pancake, tteokbokki and bimbimbap. KBBQ comes with really good free side dishes and free top up as well. Highly recommend and will def be back.
This KBBQ restaurant offers a big meat menu but also many different Korean dishes. Very suitable for big groups. The meat is good. The raw beef is super yummy and I really enjoyed the japchae as well.
On the slightly expensive side, but considering location and menu, there is something for everyone. Definitely make a booking.
Kogi may be a little more pricey compared to many other KBBQ restaurants but the quality of produce shines. If you find the experience of cooking on your own a bit intimidating, the staff here regularly circle the tables and help cook your meat if you need the help.
Make a booking as it gets busy and take advantage of free parking at Market City if you dine after 6pm.
Service was great! And it was nice and clean. Food quality was also really good! If you're looking for a place to go with a group, book a table here. We ordered two different platters and when split between 6-8 people it's not pricey (about $30). Unless you have drinks but water is free! They also offer different korean alcohols and the standard soda selection. There is a limit on time with bigger groups but it was plenty of time (we were there for about 2hrs) to cook the food and sit around and chat.
Delicious food as usual. Professional and friendly waiter. Nice ambient with KPop muzac. Make sure to make a reservation first.
