Excellent Japanese bbq! The interior is very clean, light and welcoming. The inside of the restaurant doesn’t smell like smoke and you don’t leave feeling like there is meat on you! The variety of meat and food was excellent, and the quality was awesome! Also a plus because we called up before going about gluten free options and they were very accomodating. Highly recommend!

EDIT: My previous review was 3 years ago and I’ve since been back. My expectations were high for this restaurant because my previous dining experience here was pleasant. We got the buffet option and the quality of the meats has definitely dropped and the fried food on the menu (takoyaki and crab claw) were still cold and frozen in the middle. We sent it back to the kitchen and they gave us a new one with no issues. The fried chicken was also pink inside. Service is quite fast but the lettuce was still dirty and seemed like it wasn’t washed properly. Overall, I don’t think it was worth it for the price but that’s just my own personal opinion. ——— The food quality here is great. We had a variety of meats for the bbq, oysters, a variety of sashimi and also udon. We ordered from the al la carte menu. I always find it’s a lot cheaper to get this over the buffet (usually with larger groups). Our total bill (including beers and other drinks) was less than what it would have cost us for buffet per person. Overall a good dining experience with good atmosphere and great customer service. The green tea and black sesame ice cream was a small, tasty dessert to finish the meal.

Wednesday night - buy one get one free soft drink or beer We had the buffet menu, meat quality was average, not terrible but also not the premium grade. Sashimi was fresh, side dishes were decent. Don’t think it’s really worth paying $80+ for the 2 hour seating, the grill seems to be quite slow so you’re forever waiting for the meat to cook and end up with less time eating. Maybe worth looking into getting the platters and just grill them at home, those seem to be of good value for money

They serve such delicious pieces of wagyu meat! It was so juicy and tender, I definitely enjoyed my visit and it left me so stuffed. Not only do they have meat, they have sashimi, salad, Japanese side dishes, soup, seafood, curry, noodles, ice cream and more. You can order as much food as you want using a tablet within 120 minutes. Recommend the ox tongue, wagyu beef rib, outside skirt, tri tip and oyster blade! Also, you must try the roasted green tea ice cream!!

I love Japanese BBQ all you can eat buffets and had so much fun at Musou Yakiniku. I loved trying every variety of wagyu, along with their signature ox tongue. The ox tongue was indeed super delicious and the wagyu cuts were pretty high quality - I especially enjoyed the wagyu tri tip, wagyu beef rib and wagyu outside skirt. The sashimi was fresh and I also liked the side dishes, including the takoyaki, wagyu yukke, octopus karaage and ice creams. I recommend ordering a lot at the start to make the most of your time, and check out their Instagram/website for their promotions on certain days/times to make the buffet even more worth it!

For those who LOVE Japanese bbq, you gotta come here and try their A La Carte menu, their wagyu and sashimi were fantastic. So fresh, and beautifully plated, the wagyu just makes you drool it was so tender with that amazing marbling look on the plate. Their service here was great as well, the waiters would politely go around the place and ask to collect your empty plates. Would definitely recommend more friends to come here next time.

Rude, awful and worst services ever. Strongly do NOT recommend it for anyone. we made our appointment at 6:30. They set a 1.5 hours limit on your eating. Despite we are fully aware of the limit they would come up to us every 15 minutes to remind us how long we have left. We spent $80 per head, and have ordered alcohols. it take time for 6 people to cook and drink up all alcohols. They just constantly coming at up saying you got 40min left, or you got 25min left in a disrespectful way. The 1.5 hours is rigid and restrictive despite their slow services. We ordered alcohol towards the end, and told them we would need just an extra 10min to finish up. They said if we can’t finish up they can store it in the fridge for next time. 1. There is no next time 2. We didn’t say we can’t finish the drink

Buffet is cost $85pp, no drink include and the quality of the foods are not worthy at all. Says they have premium wagyu beef yet only one type of wagyu you can choose and not even good enough. Sashimi is terrible, the salmon and king fish cuts are so thinner, just like you can get them for $5 from your local fish store, but it's cost you $85 here. They charge you $2 for the grill replacement, I ate lots of buffet, price from $30 to $65, this is the first place charged for grill replacement. I don't know why the reviews is so higher, I definitely not recommend it to anyone. You can get more quality meats and service from other shops and you only pay half of this price.

This is a really good Japanese bbq restaurant in the city. The ox tongue, beef outside skirt and premium wagyu ribs were my favourites and I preferred them marinated when you order them on the tablet screen. The seared tuna with radish ponzu was also really good and fresh. The restaurant was also really well ventilated so the bbq smell wasn’t too strong afterwards. Overall, great bbq restaurant and happy to come back again!

Their BBQ buffet at $85 for 2 hours seems a little pricey, so we opted for a la carte. It was hard to gauge how many plates to order as not clear how big the serving sizes are from the photos on the iPad. There were a good range of beef cuts to choose from. The range of the other proteins were not as extensive, but it did have all the standards. All of the raw meat were great, the scallop was particularly impressive with it served in its shell with a chunk of butter to melt over the scallop. The sides & cooked food were good quality & tasty too. The food themselves ended up costing just under $30 per person, but adding in the drinks makes it about $50.

My partner and I have been to a fair few Japanese BBQ restaurants all over Sydney. Despite the price, it is definitely worth it. The staff are very friendly and professional. They tell you which cuts are which from the wagyu selection. Everything is very fresh! From the takoyaki to the karage chicken. Don't let my picture of the muscles fool you - they were a decent size! All the wagyu just melts in your mouth and you can tell the pure quality of their meat and cuts. I know we will be definitely coming back here!

Came here on a Friday night, the food and experience was great! The quality of the meats were exceptional, in my opinion the wagyu stood out to me. My favourite dish of meat would have to be premium wagyu assortment. The meat was soft and juicy. I also liked the concept of the touch screen menus on each table. $85 pp for 2 hours - definitely come here with an empty stomach, and staff are friendly and attentive. Food portions are kind of small, so you end up ordering a lot. Everything we ordered was nice, but I didn't like the chirashi sushi, it felt and looked like sushi leftovers (last bits of fish and rice).

Good lunch, value for money! Paid $29.90 for Wagyu tasting, my and my boss can choose 3 types of Wagyu from option in the menu. I think it’s 50 gram per type, so total of 150gram approximately per served, come with rice, miso soup and little salad. The highlight was special salted oz tongue, it was a cheap cut secondary meat but it was full of flavour! Follow by Wagyu tri trip and Wagyu beef ribs. The rest what we choose was Wagyu beef finger, Wagyu outside skirt, and Wagyu flap meat. I don’t mind coming back for the buffet!

We came here for dinner on a Friday night. We had a booking so were seated in a good location almost immediately. We had the dinner buffet which was really good and although pricey, the food did taste great. We had to pay $2 to change the wire when other places include this free so that was a bit of a disappointment. We also noticed that at the start of the meal, the food came out within a few mins once we ordered. Towards the end it slowed down a lot. We waited more than 10 mins for 2 plates of meat to come out, but the restaurant had the same amount of customers as earlier. I do like how you can order as much of each dish as you like, unlike places such as Kobe Wagyu who is only $6 cheaper but limits each dish to 3 serves maximum. I would quite likely visit again.

nice and clean environment, good services, staffs are friendly. Sashimi is fresh, the bbq is good quality. Wide range of meat choice. They also have salad, rice, noodle, desert and drinks. Tried the buffet menu! Will come back and recommend to friends!

Soooo great Japanese BBQ! That's my best ever experience. Strongly recommend the buffet package, very high cost performance. I also like the plum wine, which is uniquely served by the restaurant.

Very good meat. Several choices of sources. Recommend beef tongue and beef skirt. The place is very nice and easy to be found. For lunch special you can choose 3 different meat with 29 dollars and the meat quality is very good. Service is very good as well.

Nice food and good staff to help us. It ia yum. Must order to beef tongue, that is my favourite. Kids love the lotus root chips and seaweed. They finish too fast, i even do not take the any photo. Will be here very weekend!!
