Apparently 'Best Bacon & Egg Wrap in Surry Hills' and Sydney according to their signs although I'm not quite who has awarded this title to them. Possibly self-proclaimed? Menu board special of a Bacon & Egg Wrap with a coffee ($10) is cooked to order. It's a tasty wrap with two large eggs, bacon, tasty cheese, homemade aioli & secret sauce. Comes with a side dish of sweet chilli sauce and pesto although I reckon they should add this into the wrap.
The coffee here is great, the bacon and egg wraps certainly live up to their expectations. They are amazing delicious and the best for breakfast!
Also they have a honeydew melon green tea here! It makes me so happy because it's my 2 favourite things made into one. I love this place a lot.
It's across the road from Harmony park and also a police station, so it's safe as well! I recommend this place!
I used live in the same building when this cafe first opened. I remember they always had a great coffee. I've visited first time in 4 years since I moved away and I noticed place is looking a little old and rundown... (Compare to when I used to visit). The menu is rather simple but I think it's smart that they only do what they do great. And I was pleasantly surprised that they have withheld great reviews over the years. I ordered one of their famous wraps and coffee. I don't like bacon so I ordered vegetarian wrap instead and I was totally satisfied with the taste. There’s something about their sauce mixed in perfect ratio of tomatoes cucumbers green leaves and eggs. Well done indeed. The coffee was great as I remembered. I will bring my hubby over to eat the famous "bacon & egg wrap" next time.

Living up to the Hype. Coffee is good, and the bacon&egg wrap definitely lives up to the hype. Given the proximity to police station, criminals would be the only ones avoiding this place.
Quick and Yummy!!. While on vacation my husband and I just needed a quick breakfast before we started the rest of our activity filled day. Bean Temple was close to hotel our and it looked clean and cute from the outside so we decided to check it out. The service was quick and friendly. Of course the coffee was delicious but I still dream about the bacon and egg wrap. They do a fried egg instead of scrambled so it's extra yummy. We had to go back there a few times during our stay in Sydney.
Coffee is amazing and the service is exceptional by all the staff. Barista Carmelo aka Mel makes the best coffee in the area and now living here for 7 years, it's my go to place for my caffeine hit. Great all rounder. Thanks guys.
Bacon and egg wrap is incredible and only 10 bucks with a coffee. It's not at all like you'd expect from the boring name. Just try it!

Bacon & egg wrap and coffee for $10 (+50 cents for large coffee). Waltzed in randomly after passing it a few times in the past. Very impressed with their bacon & egg wrap, of which they claim to be good at making! Also came with a slightly spicy tomato pesto aoli dip, which seemed to accentuate the ingredients' taste more! Their coffee was sufficiently strong enough for me.

Amazing wrap.. We had ordered one wrap and one jaffle to share. The wrap was amazing, it came out first. Unfortunately the jaffle just didn't compare. It was "under-toasted" and a bit boring after eating the wrap. I make better jaffles at home...
Coffee was ok, chai latte was good.
Definitely have to try the wrap if you're in the area.

Great breakfast spot! The coffee is really good, but that's almost to be expected at any cafe in Sydney. The real treat here is the bacon and egg brekkie wrap. They're easy to find at nearly any cafe, but Bean Temple's is among the best I've found.
Bean Temple is located directly across the road from the Surry Hills Police Centre, and its clientele consist mostly of locals and police officers. They claim that their bacon and egg wrap is the best in Sydney, and I agree - it's ridiculously satisfying. The coffee isn't too shabby either. The cafe itself is rather small, but there are a few undercover tables and benches just outside. My only complaint is the limited parking outside (mostly police parking and a few metered spots), meaning the wraps are hard get to if you're not a local.
As a treat, I love indulging in a bacon and egg roll. Having decided to try one of these mega delicacies from Bean Temple, I am super impressed. If you're not full and satisfied after indulging in one of their bacon and egg wraps - then something's not right. The egg is cooked perfectly, and the bacon enjoys a subtle smoky flavour while being healthy with some melted cheese in between. I become full very quickly. Yum. Big thanks to Jacinta for being so friendly and providing exceptional service too. Cheers :)
Funky, rough, with a bit of a southeast Asian feel. Long tables, friendly service, really good coffee.
Not the nicest location, as it's a long, dark, concrete room/balcony overlooking busy Goulburn Street. But it's gotta be one of the most secure places to have a cup, since it's right across the street from the Surry Hills police station.
I hear good things about their bacon and egg roll.
I love the bacon and egg wrap. The service is always amazing they know your name and coffee as you walk towards them the coffee is made ready for you! I love this local favourite.

It's true! They do have the best bacon and egg wrap! They add chutney and aioli to boost the flavour, yum! Good coffee and friendly service. I am lucky to live just above them :)
