Family friendly cafe at the entrance of Gateway - menu serves classic dishes. Ordered big breakfast, Caesar salad, eggs benny toast and risotto - all dishes were made well in adequate portions to share, salad was particularly tasty.
I did not know that breakfasts in a good hotel starts late on a weekend and that’s what happened to me when I was staying at this big hotel in Sydney’s Harbour. It was 6:30 am in the morning and we were up quite early as we will be planning for what to do during the day, when we went to the hotel’s restaurant they said they don’t open until 7:00 am, well that sucks and we don’t want to waste some valuable time as we had a tight schedule so we decided to go out and hopefully find something that opens early on a Saturday morning, and that’s what introduced me to Quay and Co.
When you’re on the go, grab it from Quay & Co!
Conveniently located opposite Circular Quay station, why not grab your lunch 🍴to go from here (and enjoy it in front of the harbour like me ) or your breakfast and coffee . They do a range of ready made sandwiches and wraps, muffins, selection of salads (I’ve got the Greek salad ) and serve Campos coffee.
Note: I dined as a guest of the venue. All views expressed are my own.
Another cafe with Campos Coffee in the city.. Cake here a few time for coffee and dessert and they never fail me! Last time I came for take away coffee. They have special counter order from outside of the cafe and the coffee served fast 💨 Lovely barista !! Served us with a smile 😊
Couldn’t have enjoyed it more! The service was incredibly speedy, the food was fresh and the flavours were fantastic. Not too sure where other reviewers have eaten, but I would visit again without question!
I had a nible and coffee from this place.
Croissant just nice.
Coffee bean by campos, $3.30 to take away Picollo.
It's cheap by 20 cents compare to competitors surrounding.
They do have loyalty card too forbyou coffee lover, buy 10 get 1 free.
I would agree that the service is a hit and miss but the food really makes up for it! The spit roast chicken was unctuous, so juicy and the Greek kebab was fabulous! Great meal very tasty!
Stopped by for a lunch at Quay and co. What drew us in was the use of campos coffee and the sandwiches listed on the menu.
The coffee was pretty good, not the best using campos we've had, but certainly better than most coffee in Sydney.
To our surprise, at 12.15pm, they had sold out of the sandwiches?? While confused at how this happens, we moved to order a lamb Old Greek (a souvlaki), but only to be told that the lamb wasn't ready also, so we ordered the chicken.
The food was quite good, and showed good value for money also.
The service too, was quite reasonable, however showed hints of a lack of knowledge, with the staff questioning simple requests made by customers.
Overall though, a pleasurable experience
Gateway is a newly opened food central at circular quay, it really brings life to the area. I remember when i use to hunt for affordable food and ethnic cuisines around circular quay without having to walk too far or burn a hole in my wallet, it was always a challenge. When Gateway opened, my eyes lit.
We went to Quay and Co for lunch on a friday, within 20 minutes, the entire restaurant and alfresco dining area was completely packed with large groups of consumers.
Quay and Co offers a range of Greek cuisines as well as burgers and breakfasts. It was a hot and humid day so we opt for a cappuccino to wake us up and we couldn't go past the Oreo shake (topped with cream, yes!!!!)
I have a soft spot for pita wraps/gyros, for a change i got the pork pita and it was absolutely delicious, fresh off the spit. This pita wrap wowed me with an ingenious addition of apple sauce and aoli, my taste buds were popping. My pita came with a side of the crispiest thick cut chips ive ever had at a greek restaurant - they were perfect!
Mum had the moussaka, we were pleasantly surprised and happy that this was on the menu. The moussaka came with a side of greek salad. Mum loves variety so this was an excellent choice for her. I had a spoonful and loved the texture/variety of vegetables, however after having the pita with such amazing flavours, i felt that a little bit more flavouring in the moussaka wouldve been perfect. Mum thought it was a fabulous dish regardless!
The neighbouring tables had plates of drool-worthy burgers with chips - I have to go back for those, they looked absolutely amazing!!
If you want to secure a table, make sure you start heading down to Quay and Co 15-20mins prior to the lunch rush at 1pm because everyone else will have the same idea!
My partner and I came here for a quick coffee, wish I took the photo before I had a sip, however I just wanted to add that it was amazing. I'm pretty snobby when it comes to coffee, but this would easily have to be one of the best coffees I've had in a while, it was hot, but not too hot, and perfectly balanced flavour wise.
The staff were really polite with good, prompt service.
We watched some of the food come out and it smelt and looked amazing. Definitely worth a try.
Thanks again

Had coffee and brunch + lunch here with my mum and grandmother. Convenient spot across the road from Circular Quay, good amount of seating. Warming & beautiful decor, complete with a Greek Spartan helmet on the shelf above register haha. Great coffee and delicious eats. Also a selection of sweets and pastries to choose from. Being located at the Quay, this place is a bit pricier than the outer suburbs of Sydney but reasonable for the area. Service very friendly and attentive.
This is a cosy little restaurant/ cafe that's located just off Circular Quay. The menu is a little like Greek street food. They have gyros and and burgers, but they have made it all a bit fancier that the typical street style. They marinated meats are delicious and the pita and chips are amazing. The chips were so crisp on the outside with a light batter that crunches so well when you bite into it. The only let down was the 'aioli'. It's was just mayo, nothing special. They serve alcohol too. The service was very fast and the maitre de was very attentive. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch in your in the area. The prices start at about $18 for a main.
Best breakfast I've ever had, no exaggeration. The mushroom/pumpkin/egg/feta on sourdough is incredible (ask for it with scrambled eggs!). My sister had the eggs benedict which was cooked to perfection! :) COME HERE!!!
