Tucked away above the rocks area is a pocket of tranquility. Home to the advertising gurus, this part of the city seems world away from the CBD. There's quite a bit of competition in the area, so quality staff and great coffee are essential. The staff at Argyle Café were very attentive, which was half way there; but the coffee was OK rather then great. Still worth a visit when looking for some time out.

Good location, average sandwich. Owners were kind of rude, but a homeless man came by while I was there and they brought a sandwich out to him.

Simple cafe with your standard classic cafe menu. Outdoor and indoor seating, friendly staff and good prices.

The staff here is extremely courteous. I enjoyed the iced coffee and the iced chocolate. It’s a nice and relaxed cafe near some of the tourist sites, but far enough away to not deal with the crowds.

A peaceful cafe only 10 minutes (700m) walk from George Street through the historic Rocks and Argyle Cut. The staff and friendly and they make a great fresh sandwich, try tuna salad with avocado. Good coffee, cool breeze and a view to Darling Harbour & Balmain. Barangaroo foreshore park is just across the road.
