The Freedom Hub is nested away in Waterloo. It's a huge space and very art deco, it's very beautiful inside, the food is super healthy and there is a great range of vegetarian food. The coffee is awesome! They also do great charity work for human trafficking, so an added plus from me.
I've used Zomato for ages but never write reviews until now. I came across this place after work and stopped in to check it out. It's nice inside but what I was most impressed about was the coffee. They say Melbourne has great coffee but I think this place is close. Loved it
The venue is absolutely beautiful! It is an excellent cafe with great coffee! The concept of ending slavery in Australian borders is brilliant, and I love contributing to the cause.
The venue is so beautiful, I totally fell in love with the place. The food is great and have a nice selection of vegan food. I was really surprised how good the coffee was. Also, helping human trafficking and slavery, so it made me want to eat and drink more because of the good cause.
We ordered catering from Freedom Hub today, and it was fantastic! They provided three huge salads within our budget, and they were all delicious. Everyone at work loved them, and the leftovers from lunch were demolished immediately by other people at the centre! We'll definitely be ordering from them again.
Such a fantastic space for a party venue. The lighting & modern industrial design adds to the atmosphere for an evening party. The staff were friendly & helpful. It was a great blank canvas for us to arrange the space to suit our needs. The room comfortably held 100 with some seating & a DJ. We arranged our own caterer & this was no issue. I would certainly use it again & recommend it.
Nutritious food, funky vibe and a purpose to your visit that makes our communities safer from the harms of human trafficking. What more could you ask for?!

Absolutely love this cafe. Walking in is indescribable except to say that you instantly feel lighter. It has a wonderful feel about it. Not to mention everything is ethically sourced. What a wonderful cafe!!
I had Quinoa Delight today for lunch. I was surprised by the simple ingredients but the combination of it all was delicious. It's going to be my new favorite dish.

Love this cafe and its coffee. The salads are delicious (quinoa and smoked salmon is my favourite) and the pancakes are so so good!! It has a relaxed atmosphere and is very specious - really great for events.

A wonderful place to escape to and indulge in ethically sourced, organic products you're purchasing for a purpose. What I find with most Sydney cafes is that they're way too loud and busy to accommodate a business meeting or just some quiet time. This place is perfect for that and not just that, it also lends itself as a venue for all sorts of events. Loved the coffee, the food, the atmosphere, everything. Highly recommended!

Great service, coffee and food - as expected! What's not expected is the heart in this place. Founded purely for the purpose of helping survivors of human trafficking in Australia. Who even knew we had this problem? They did and they are doing something to help. And we can too buy holding an event there, going there for a lunch or simply buying our coffee (which is all ethically sourced). It's a beautiful environment with a heart beat.

I love what the Freedom Hub stands for - helping people who've been trafficked in Australia and also partnering in the fight to end slavery across the world. There's great satisfaction in knowing that 100% of the profit made from your cafe meal goes to helping people who've experienced modern slavery.
My personal favs are the muesli with seasonal fruit and the 'love is in our roots' salad. Yum!

The blank canvas space is a dream to style and the team there is super passionate and helpful assisting our team and client throughout the planning process. We cannot wait to come back!
We came across The Freedom Hub and the wonderful things they are doing to support anti-slavery, and we reached out to them on a company event. They've got abundance for us to choose from their catering menu, and both the sweet (breakfast basket) and the savoury (sandwiches) all of the options we had in the boxes were sosoooo yummy and tasty said all our colleagues. Their delivery partner is polite, turned up on time for a 7 AM delivery. Would highly recommend them and their great quality food for a good cause!!
My proposal and secret engagement party was a roaring success, due in no small part to this lovely venue, run by a passionate and responsive team. Clear and supportive communication throughout; any kinks were ironed out promptly and professionally. I'm really pleased to be able to contribute to The Freedom Hub's important mission through this joyous event.

Our daughter had her ceremony and wedding reception here. The flexibility of the layout meant they could set the space up as they wanted. The staff were very helpful in the planning stage, and excellent on the day/night. Everything ran smoothly meaning the happy couple and guests all had a great night. Highly recommended.

We had our wedding a the Freedom Hub on March 19, 2022, and it was the fourth attempt at us getting married since April 2020. Management was very accommodating the entire time and some of the big draw cards for us was the location (very convenient for our interstate guests and family), the cause and the flexibility in how you can run an event here. I work in the wine industry, so naturally preferred to supply wines I source myself, rather than purchase of a list provided by a venue. We also wanted a casual cocktail-style reception, so we organised a third-party caterer, and all went very smoothly on the day. Corkage was only $100 for the night, the staff had everything setup for us when we arrived and packed everything down once we left. We had many positive comments on the venue on the day and it was a brilliant fit for us. If you're after a well located venue with a lot of flexibility and friendly, helpful management and staff, I recommend The Freedom Hub very highly. Thanks to Sam for her assurances on the day too, really helped us get our nerves under control!

Great Coffee, Great Food and Great Service, the man who served me this morning was fantastic.
I had the Avocado on Toast which was really tasty, and the coffee was fantastic.
Great spot to do some work and get out of the house, big tables and free wifi.
Highly recommend.
