Traditional Gyradiko goes from strength to strength with their excellent gyros and souvlaki. I have had their pork pita, lamb pita, and chicken souvlaki multiple times and they are yet to disappoint. They ate perfectly sauced and the hot chips inside provide an added dimension of crunchy potato. The potato chips with feta was $9 and I cannot not recommend based on the small serving size alone. They do not detract from the quality of the gyros however and overall I would recommend this place to a friend or colleague.

Awesome food! White dressing is really delicious with the lamb meat! Spices also added a great flavor to it! Cheap with large serving pita roll.
Decided to try this restaurant on a walk around the neighbourhood, and was so glad to have eaten here. The restaurant has a family-owned, family-run vibe, so you get excellent service. I had the souvlaki skewers, and the lamb was so soft it was very easy to eat. Many places can be guilty of overcooking the meat but not here. You get alot of meat and chips so make sure you order some salad and dips.
I had loukomades for dessert and these are hand made and were so soft. If driving by stop there you wont be disappointed
Mate
I've eaten a lot of yiros, kebabs and gyros in my lifetime
And this place, my friends, serves the best gyro I've ever had yet.
Can't speak for the other menu items, but if you're after a fantastic quick hearty feed, smash one of their gyros. They use top quality meat that is not sinewy if filled with cheap cuts of meat.
Love this joint! So many greek street food venues are popping up all over Sydney and Traditional Gyradiko has become my favourite! Everything about it was great- even the price. Surprised as they don't sell lamb but it's traditional Gyradiko- only pork and chicken!
Give it a go!
Have been here probably twenty times or so and the food has always been top notch. Tastier and larger than the other local gyros joints. The staff here are great and make you feel very welcome. Both the chicken and pork gyros are excellent and so are the merida plates. Generous servings, fair prices and quick service!
Gyros or Gyradikos. Well it's all just Greek to me. I wasn't familiar with the terms but I did understand the food. I've always had the pita bread wrapped around either chicken or pork for takeaway. The unique feature as compared to the souvlaki is apparently the way the meat is cooked (souvlaki uses meat cooked over a grill using skewers). I did find the gyros a unique taste as far as I was concerned up to this point although I do realise that it's a common dish in Greece. I don't remember having souvlaki-pita with fries/chips inside. I've quite liked the dish and the overall freshness of the ingredients. The sauce and chips definitely help to give a flavoursome punch to the setup.
The interior setting appears to be quite pleasant with an inn or tavern-like look.
The owner/manager? has always been very welcoming and friendly so it's a good option when needing to have a fill of this particular meal.
This place is the goods!
The best Gyros in the area. The staff are friendly and the food extremely tasty. Love going here any time. Food is filling and great value.
Delicious sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Best gyros in Sydney!
Lovely staff. Delicious food. I tried the pork and chicken gyros and the sweet potato chips. All great.
Takes you right back to the Greek islands
Fast and friendly service. A welcome addition to the local food scene. Tasty food... We went a bit too crazy with the chips though! Will be back for sure.
Delicious lamb gyros ($13.5) and pork gyros ($11.5). I thought I'd love the lamb more, but both meats were equally juicy and full of flavour with a good char on them - I can't pick a favourite! We ordered takeaway and took them home to enjoy - they travelled well, didn't unravel/get messy at all. Highly recommended.
A Greek friend recommended this place to me and it didn't disappoint. I tried the pork gyro which is a larger than average serving, pork was crispy but moist at the same time. Saganaki cheese was also perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will be back for sure.
Always good to get the pork, especially in the snack pack
Got two pork Gyro combos for $36, absolute bargain considering how bloody good the Gyro was! The Tzatziki was phenomenal, the pork was tender and juicy, the chips were also good quality. This is now at the top of the list for me when grabbing Gyro in Sydney.
All the food was cooked right except some of the chicken was a bit burnt and dry. So cheap for food THAT good.
They have nice decorations all over, pictures of Greece.
Woman serving the counter was extremely friendly and nice.
As the name suggests, Traditional Gyradiko in Rosebery is a traditional Greek yeeros shop. As soon as you walk inside you are transported to a little Greek island with the familiar wooden chairs and artificial bougainvillea hanging from the ceiling. The menu has all of the standard things you expect, like beef, lamb and chicken yeeros, souvlaki, chips, haloumi, pastitsio and calamari. There is nothing fancy about this place but you will leave feeling full and satisfied. They also offer drinks directly from Greece and ice cream which includes a baklava flavour. Worth stopping at for a quick meal or takeaway.
Really solid yeeros and chips made the traditional way with tomato and paprika filling
Sensational feed from this place. Meats were delicious and flavoursome and the haloumi was cooked to perfection.. Staff were lovely and pleasant! Will definately be back! Thanks team 👍👍👍
