Stumbled across this hidden gem the other day - it's a volunteer run bar !! Great food and drinks (and very reasonably priced as well), and the best part is knowing that your money goes to a good cause. The volunteers really make the whole experience something special - always a smile on their face, and nothing they can't do for you ! Can't wait to head back there soon

They have really amazing service here, always happy to help out. We had the veggie nachos, chicken tacos, fish tacos and sangria. The tacos were really good, you can tell that they use really fresh fish as they tasted amazing. The sangria is also really good - definitely recommend ordering a jug!

A nice cozy place in broadway, food was ok but nothing special but knowing that restaurant serves a greater purpose than filling out empty stomach, I'd be happy to go back again to and hopefully be delighted.

Great atmosphere really tripping in this part of town - eclectically eccentric!
Well worth a visit given the purpose of the place, the reasonably good food and the very friendly staff.

What a fantastic place! Volunteers staff it and what lovely people they are. Great food but the best thing is knowing the money you spend goes to community outreach programs. Definitely worth a trip to show your support and eat some great food.

This place is quite awesome - as soon as you step in, you get welcomed by the colourful interior & decorations, all from mixed cultural backgrounds.. This is because this "eatery" is about community and friendship - the staff here are volunteers, and part of the Cardoner Project - they serve all around the world such as Thailand, Mexico, Nepal, Cambodia - and their dishes reflect these countries.

I believe their menu has changed now, but when I visited The Two Wolves two months ago (November 2015) with a group from work, we really enjoyed the food here as well as their jugs of sangria. :) Each dish was pretty tasty, and quite reasonably priced too. The money goes to this great initiative so it's great to know you are supporting what The Two Wolves stand for and the projects their volunteers work on globally. I'll be keen to come back soon to try their new menu!

Really good sangria. Could be a bit more sweeter though. Awesome atmosphere. Awesome volunteers. Though the service was slightly slower it was still acceptable. Bonus points as you're serving God (:

Fun, friendly, fantastic with very delicious food. Great to see the old Commonwealth bank building transformed into this new, vibrant, Sydney venture. How often can we take the family out for a meal after an event earlier in the evening in the city and know we are supporting vital development projects as basic as building news houses for families in Cambodia? Not frightened to try a new venture, the children loved it. Staff were so accommodating, the children made new friends with the fellow dinners and we all loved the Korean Chicken. Plenty of drinks all round, fun and bright décor with artefacts of the projects lining the walls, that this new enterprise supports with all the profits. A new Sydney venture not to be missed. Even if you don't stop for a meal, it worth just going to catch up with friends for a drink or two to experience the exciting project. What an excellent place to go. Invite your friends to meet you there for a meal.

This place is worth going to just for the cool decor! Run by the Jesuits to fund their charity organizations round the world, Two Wolves is staffed by volunteers. The modest menu features daily specials and the food is quite tasty. I didnt make it through to dessert but the salad and korean fried chicken were the real winners. The pulled beef burrito needed a bit more sauce to tie it all together.l but overall, quite enjoyable.

The Two Wolves is a volunteer-driven social enterprise eatery & bar. Everyone is welcome here and you certainly do feel this. There is a great vibe about the place and also a "warmth". The décor is bright and quirky. Take the time to look around as there are some really amazing pictures that show you a history of what the people at The Two Wolves contribute to. It is bright and feels as if the place has been there a while.

The Two Wolves is not your average bar. Sure, you are able to find all your favourite alcoholic beverages here, however they are not in the industry for the sole purpose of profits. In fact, all surplus profits are donated to support the less fortunate both in Australia and overseas! Second to that, all the staff working on the premise are volunteers who give up their time for the cause. So if you are interested in this initiative, please reach out to David Braithwaite for more information. The Two Wolves is only a subset of The Cardoner Project, which is an initiative by which any interested individual can take up the opportunity to travel overseas for either short or extended periods of time to help out the less fortunate.

This was the first time I've been to this place and i loved it! Great concept, fairly good food, amazing prices and the interior is super cute and cosy. The staff were polite, there was a dj at 8:30 and the dessert i had (crushed meringue with whipped cream and berry jous) was stunning. I'm definitely coming back here! All the profits they make go to missions as well!

The Two Wolves is such a wonderful and worthy concept, not all that common in Sydney, but something I hope catches on.
As you can tell from the other reviews, The Two Wolves isn't an ordinary restaurant setup. Regardless of how trendy it may look from the outside, it has a very wholesome and selfless goal. Run by volunteers, the food on offer varies from cultures all over the world, but mostly takes on a reinterpreted central Asian theme. I tried the Korean fried chicken, beef tacos, and a beef noodle salad. Nothing is presented with much finesse, but it felt like honest wholesome food. There's no room for snobbery as each dish isn't pitched as "authentic", this is more like something you'd make at home, which is actually quite endearing.
The tacos started off a little dry, but when you reached the sauce in the middle they took on a good flavour. The fried chicken had a really wonderful sauce. The chicken itself was very juicy, but I have to say it probably could of done with a little more cooking time as it was a little too "pink" in areas for my liking. The beef noodle salad had some spice to it and had a great flavour.
The venue itself has quite an eclectic theme which leaves little secret as to its roots. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming. I didn't try any of the cocktails or deserts this time, however they had quite a good selection. The prices may of been a tad on the expensive side, however one is obviously meant to take in to consideration this is a volunteer endeavour with the purpose of raising money.
I hope Two Wolves continues its positive momentum and establishes itself in an industry that isn't always known for selfless contribution to the community.

Eating for charity? It puts a whole new spin on putting your money where your mouth is. Eat and drink at The Two Wolves in Chippendale, and all profits from this social enterprise go toward disadvantaged communities around the world. At the moment, these include providing education and building assistance to primary schools in Huay Tong, Northern Thailand near Myanmar, improving the nutrition and education of pre-school children in the remote village of Tipling, Nepal, and helping the Saint Vincent Diem orphanage for disabled children in Huong Phuong, Central Thailand. The alleyway entrance to The Two Wolves

Bravo, bravo, bravo is how I am starting this article, bravo to everyone involved in The Two Wolves Community Cantina. With thanks to Wasamedia I was invited to find out all about this new venue on Broadway, directly opposite Broadway Shopping Centre next door to the Landsdowne Hotel, inside the old bank building. Everything about this venue is a standing ovation. The building is an initiative of The Cardoner Project, a Jesuit and Catholic youth volunteering hub that supports global partner organisations, predominantly within the Jesuit network. Their idea was to set up an amazing all purpose venue that is all about raising money to support their food projects around the world.
