A great menu with a lot of options, add-ons and extra's. Simply choose you type of bread, meat and flavored add-ons. They also have a good choice of cakes / deserts.
Located in Suncorp Centre, it is one of the outside stalls in the food court area. They produce cooked to order schnitzels, giving you a choice of the type of schnitzel meat (they even cater towards the vegetarian so they don't miss out!), and then customise it into a roll/wrap with your selected extras or a plated meal if dining in. There are also other options like wurst, salads, and pretzels.
Stood there for a while being bamboozled by the array of options (it is just a schnitzel after all) and went with Crisp White Roll with Veal Schnitzel as a Berlin (bacon, fried egg, onion, ketchup). It already comes with lemon aioli, cos lettuce & tomatoes. The service is lovely. Pay at the small window and you get a buzzer so it goes off when your food is ready. There was quite a queue of people so seemed very popular with the city worker.
I received my roll and consumed it quite quickly. It was very tasty and appreciated the cooked to order schnitzel. I just wish they drained some of the fat from it as combined with the bacon, onions, fried egg, and aioli, it got a bit greasy towards the end and harder to eat as the fat kind of dripped everywhere. Might just have to try a plated meal next time so I don't get greasy fingers!
Excellent food, the schnitzels are always freshly cooked. The food here satisfies your hunger but still leaves you craving more. Despite getting quite busy at lunch they still maintain good quality while serving your food quickly. Service is always friendly but short and to the point.
Schnitzel has never tasted so good.
Making use of a 'build your burger' style menu, numerous combinations can be achieved, but the pick of the bunch is the jam packed 'Berlin'.
Chips and drink are extra, which is a downer - but the main attraction more than accounts for that, it will fill you on its own.
One of the first things you see are the golden pretzels at the counter. These little fellas have covered a few air miles thanks to being made in Germany; snap-frozen and then baked here at the schnitzel haus. I guess you could say they’re the real deal.
I found this place through the Ritual app, it exceeded my expectations!
Burger was delicious (juicy chicken), the serving of chips was generous and the lemon aioli sauce was very tasty - great for a lunch stop in!
Very good and consistent food, plenty of choices and very friendly staff. Ques are not very long and the chips are nice and crispy with chicken salt.
Love the Currywurst. Would love if they've added more curry powder.
Delicious and it transports me back to Berlin. You know it's authentic as the chef/owner speaks with a German accent! Would give an extra star if the serving portions were more generous given the fairly high prices charged at a food court.
Fast service, good quality food, reasonable price. My favourite is the white roll, chicken schnitzel, basel add avocado which is about $13.50 from memory. Only open at lunchtime weekdays. Juicy schnitzel, can be a little hard to manage by adding avocado but for me it's worth it.
Excellent service and food! I ordered a Mealpal not knowing the sauce had raw egg (I’m pregnant), the shop lady was kind enough to offer me an alternative and remake the burger. Thank you!
Ordered chicken schnitzel Berlin style. The result is a dense burger that looks deceptively small, but it fills you up. And yes it is delicious and freshly made to order. A bit in the pricey side however.
Really nice place. Shame closing down but staff was friendly, food fresh and tasty (enough so that I ordered twice). Even on a cold and damp day the place was pleasant enough to sit around.
