Great little venue offering Breakfast, Lunch and also Asian food like dumpling, noodle soup etc. Went here after lunch so I only bought coffee. It was great (Allpress Espresso).
Might come again next time to enjoy their dishes.

I've seen this place from a far for ages and tried it for the first time this week. My friend and I both had the chicken salad. I asked for mine to be without cucumber which they were able to accommodate.
The salad was fresh, delicious and so tasty. My friend was still thinking about the meal hours later!
I walked in for a Mocha and I was so happy with it. Large size cup for $3.8 is probably one of the cheapest price for mocha around Sydney, and it tastes wonderful.
The staff was friendly.
The place is cute and cozy, small table, lovely set up, not busy for a Weds lunch time.
I would love to come back to try the dumplings and spend a bit more time there.
A nice little cafe in the Erskine Street zone of food goodness. My coffee was well made and the staff were friendly and relaxed. While I didn't eat, the menu looked appetising, including choices such as dumplings, roast duck rice and various counter foods. The Brewery is larger than it looks, with an upstairs seating area tucked away at the back.
A friend and I were just walking past this place, searching for a Friday lunch option when we saw the interesting menu on the chalkboard (ie. Brewery serving Asian food). The place was quiet at lunch time but we thought we'd give it a chance. Best decision ever!
We ordered the zha jiang noodles and the roast duck rice, which came highly recommended by staff. We took it away. We were very satisfied with the price, the food presentation, portion sizes and it was a really wholesome balanced meal. The pork mince in the zha jiang noodle was really flavoursome and balanced well with the cucumber, although the noodles were marginally over cooked. The roast duck was a little on the dry side but again, flavour was good and the sauce on the rice was fantastic. I really liked that the roast duck came with a serve of broccolini and pickled red cabbage.
It's definitely one of the better options in the area and I will be making this a staple lunch option!
Loveliest staff! Chocolate raspberry muffin made my day, not too sweet, chunks of melted chocolate, beautiful texture, not too oily. Heaven

Great Coffee. I have only been working in the city 4 weeks and only today stumbled into The Brewery Espresso Bar. The coffee is deliciously smooth and expertly brewed ... The BBQ Sandwitch was delicious and not only that its a very funky looking Cafe with awesome staff.
If you work in town Hall or Wynyard i recommend you give it a try.
Nice potato and leek soup on a cold day; nice croque madame to go with it. Friendly, un-posh approach. If it had wireless, it would be a Mecca for quiet lunchtime browsing.
This is an awesome and covert dumpling restaurant as well a great cafe! Friendly service and for lunch, a mixed plate of freshly steamed, homemade dumplings is only$12.50 - what a steal! Plenty of seating including upstairs. Stop by!
You might be confused considering the name - they've not changed it since the change of owner. It now has exceptional dumplings and some awesome asian dishes along with the standard cafe stuff. I go there at least once a week. They have extra seating upstairs too.
