The Royal was one of our "go to" places which we were semi regulars for many years. 👍
However recently they totally changed the menu & removed pretty much all of our favourites (Souvlaki, hotpot, etc.) 😣
The menu is now extremely limited. 😫 As well they introduced a "membership" which gives discount
Food is good. But rough around the edges in the presentation but good enough. Staff very friendly. Good mix of young people, the old barfly characters as well ethnicities which is really good.
Had an enjoyable meal that was fresh and tasty. Friendly service.
Food is great but staff can be a little challenging.
I've been going here for over 5 years now and have always been asked if I'm a member but never ask if I want to sign up.
Maybe after 10 years someone might ask.
Really small serving! I understand it was a lunch special but not that great prob extremely if not below average and the chicken parmi was tiny and dry I prob could of made it better myself.
Also extremely not pram friendly went in near pokie entrance you could smell the smoke inside eating area. H
The staff wouldn't bother responding to my one question about the vegetarian burger, they were very entertained watching rugby league on TV. Plus, there was no indication on the menu about the peri peri sauce being EXTRA hot. My tongue is burnt. Thank you so bloody much for the terrible service.
Nice litte suburban pub. Close to Jubilee oval so a good place for pre footy beer. Hot food, cold beer.
What more could you ask for.😁
