Holy moly!! I found my next favourite ramen restaurant! I had ordered the spicy prawn ramen and it was delicious! Definitely the best comfort food for a cold rainy day!!!
Pretty okay actually. I had their classic ramen which was 11.9$. The broth was good, everything seem decent. The staff who served me were not friendly. Overall the ramen tasted fine so i will give this place 4 stars
Hands down the best Japanese takeaway in the Sydney CBD. I have slowly eaten my way through the menu and everything is a very high standard, fresh and hot, even when delivered via Uber Eats at the opposite end of the city! Love this place!
Love Great Food, Ambience And Company.

Had the spicy karaage ramen yesterday and it was so satisfying! The karaage is well fried and juicy on the inside, and the ramen flavor was just right (not too spicy or salty). The service staff were cheerful and helpful with serving napkins and takeaway boxes when I could not finish. Overall an amazing experience I did not expect!!
Had the spicy ramen many times from this place, really decent to my preferences.
Second note: this place only accepts card payments on purchases over $15. It boggles my mind why a number of restaurants that are also on Menulog do this as they'll lose more money to fees if I just place an order for pickup through there.
Not a big ramen fan but this place definitely hit the spots for me. I do enjoy this place rather more than Ippudo & other ramen places. Go try the standard chashu ramen & you'll have a great time!
Ok, I’m not exactly a ramen expert and I don’t eat it too often to really say I’ve had the best. This is probably the third time I’ve had ramen lol. Anyway, on our way to the train station from Bondi to an outlet mall with a friend, we were getting hungry and he recommended this place. I was eager to order coz by looking at the menu, they seem to have good noodles, without really checking the rating first (which I usually do), but for some reason I couldn’t find them on the app. My friend ordered his usual Ajimen ramen with chicken karaage, I had the prawn ramen and salt & pepper squid. To be honest I quite enjoyed it, noodles was good, prawns cooked just fine, broth was salty enough the way I like it. The only thing I didn’t like was the egg, it tasted funny so I didn’t eat it. But overall experience, it was good, staff was friendly and quick.
The gyoza ramen was pretty good. Service was quick and efficient. The broth was slight too salty though but as an occasional meal, it was delicious. The donbiri and dinner box were also pretty good although the picture on the menu made the donbiri look bigger than the actual size and there could be more variety in the dinner box

I've been here a few times now and I don't mind the taste of the ramens. It's not the best that's out there, but it's not the worst either. If I'm craving ramen and I'm in the area, I'll come here.
I always tend to go with the miso ramens and with the topping on the side. I don't like when fried food gets soggy.
The staff are always friendly here. There's not much of an atmosphere here though. A very quick in and out restaurant.
I love Karage ramen
I would never ever order the curry again!!
The taste is Terrible and the portions was not like the picture
The best is RAMEN
This has to be one of the tastiest ramen spots I've had in Sydney. We had ordered the 'vegetarian bento', 'volcano ramen', and 'special tonkutsu ramen'. The broth of the ramen was very tasty and flavoursome. The bento was also quite tasty. All servings were reasonably big. However, the service wasn't as great. The staff that was serving at the time had a strong accent, and could barely be understood. Nor, did they understand me very well.
We popped into Ajisen Ramen while on a fleeting visit to Sydney to celebrate my birthday. Whilst Christchurch has a lot of Asian eateries to be proud of, many of them are more or less the same. I can't claim to know how genuine the flavours are at Ajisen Ramen, but I am comparing with all other experiences I have had.
The place is small and not at all made for elegant dining, but that's not what they are trying to achieve here. As the name suggests, they specialise more so in ramen which is a Japanese noodle soup concoction. That's not all they make, fortunately for me, because I was actually more interested in trying some of their other "side" dishes. They also do bento bowls and donburi as well.
I was more interested in and did try the karaage chicken, gyoza (dumplings), edamame and the fried squid. Not the healthiest of meals, but it was meant to be a quick lunch. These dishes tend to be the staples of dumpling and sushi establishments. It's not hard to get the beans right, but I love those anyway - a light sprinkling of salt just to bring out the flavour as you peeled and munched your way through. Everything else was actually pretty good too - there was room to improve. The karaage could have been a bit hotter, as could have the squid. Unfortunately they poured sweet chilli over the squid without asking me first because I don't actually like sweet chilli.
Apart from that - my wife appeared to enjoy her ramen, although I cant remember which one it was. Convenient and fast and easy to stop in for a reasonably decent meal at a decent price at a decent pace.
The ramen is good here perhaps not in the same league as my fav Ryos but still very tasty. Also check out the size of the spoon, its huge! The beef bento comes with a generous serving of rice, some nice spiced beef which is very tender and miso. If your after a quick and cheep Japanese feed its well worth giving Ajisen Ramen a try. 85 Liverpool St Sydney, 2000 Tweet
Great Ramen. I believe this store has really lifted its game. I remember Ajisen in Australia being rather boring and incomparable to its name overseas... However the one on Liverpool Street has, to my mind, done pretty well to serve great toppings, good noodles and decent soup.
Lovely ramen! The chasu is tender and tasty. Well balanced taste. Will definitely return again.
Maybe not a second time?. This place despite being really popular actually did not go as well as I expected!
Pros: the variety of ramen is good, the texture of the ramen is good, taste is average I would say compared to other ramen in the city, staff are friendly and cheerful, environment is clean and hygienic with comfortable seating.
Cons: The portion size is pretty small for the price, and the meat given in the ramen dishes are more on the stingy side (careful the pictures on the menu show deceiving amount of ingredients.)
Delicious and good value. Lots of variety, friendly service. great food, really enjoyed it.
The best pork, miso and ramen noodles. Picture this.......a bowl full of steaming hot noodles, a perfectly cooked egg, a slice of braised pork, shrimp and a fine spaghetti of vegetables. I can hear loud slurps from nearby and assume it's okay to guzzle noisily. The stock is superb and I polish off the lot. Heaven!
Whent there last night and it was amazing ... Was so happy my girlfriend and I whent there, it totally made our night ... Woke up wanting ramen for brakfest!
Very delicious noodles and soup! Shop are a bit small but it filled with Japanese culture environment. Staffs are friendly and approachable. Will visit again if got chance.
Was not planning on eating ramen tonight but walked past this place and saw they had volcano ramen (love my food spicy) and spicy soft shell crab. My compulsiveness was rewarded with such a wonderful combination. Sorry, the soft shell crab was just too tempting and I forgot to take a picture.
Got the Special Tokusen Ramen via UberEATS. And the meats was tender and broth was creamy. It was so delicious. Loved it.
