Visited when they had the $15 pizza as their daily special. Ordered the pizza bianca and the king prawn, both were amazing. Service was good and food came out quick.
Good ambience
Good food
Costly
Friendly staff
Costed around $40 per head with no alcohol.
Sweet potato fries were must try.
Very near to darling harbour and well connected to Wynyard station.
This is located near King Street Wharf. We arrived with a booking but didn't need one as it was quite empty this evening and had a choice of tables. Service was very attentive (possibly due to being quiet) but he was helpful and on the ball.
We decided to split an entree of Saffron And Pea Arancini, Pecorino & Saffron Aioli. The arancini were nice and crispy on the outside and delicious creamy rice with peas on the inside. The mains chosen were Cannaroli Rice Risotto, Grilled Italian Sausages, Saffron & Green Peas and Spicy Yellow Curry, Snapper Fillet, White Quinoa, School Prawns & Silken Tofu. The risotto was creamy and had a delicious hint of Saffron to it. The sausage with peas were a delicious addition on top of it. The curry was flavoursome and was wolfed down quickly. It was a good mixture of seafood. We also got a side of beer battered chips, tomato sauce. It was more salsa like in texture and was nice. The chips could've been a bit more crispy.
The service was excellent. We had prawns and calamari as entrees and the risotto and steak as our mains. The food was cooked quite well and there was plenty of seating on a quiet Monday night when we went. Nice ambience.
Ive walked passed this place heaps of times after work drinkies at BUNGALOW 8 across the road and finally got the chance to come in and try the food!
Our hostess that evening was the lovely MARITA who has a great knowledge of food and wine from her native Italy and helped us tremendously with recommending the dishes we had this evening which were prepared by the talented Chef Alessandro!
THE SHARED ANTIPASTO PLATE is a great teaser in Italian and features cured proscuitto, marinated vegies, foccacia, grissini and real authentic mozzarella! An essential accompaniment to this is a glass of red which Marita recommended to us.
The SEARED TASMANIAN SALMON with a mixed side salad of beans, sicillian olives, semi dried grape tomatoes dressed in a viniagrette was beautiful. The skin was crisp and its flesh perfectly cooked. The beauty of Italian food is in techniques like this where the soft flavours of the salad dressing, crunch of the beans and contrast between the saltiness of the olive and sweetness of the tomato are prominent yet not overpowering allowing the salmon to sing through in its natural flavour.
The PAN ROASTED CHICKEN BREAST was so cleverly cooked. Rough cut and cooked in a way where the moisture of the meat was retained while crisping its outer layer. The heirloom tomato panzanella rested on an egg plant puree and it was a surprising and interesting combination not often seen in many menus of sydney Italian food.
The VENUE features high ceilings with 3 areas that cater as a bar for casual group meetups while the restaurant has a very intimate and romantic feel. The layout of the dining room features a centrepiece view into the bustling kitchen where some of the most delicate creations showcasing the essence of Italy are created.
Marita tells us wine is a staple in Italian culture and this is truly reflected in the extensive selection of wines that are on offer, deliberately chosen to compliment specific dishes on the menu. They have been sourced from various regions of Italy.
Delicate, Flavoursome and Warm is how i would describe this place and definitely an essential stop the next time im out and aboutΒ
Was lucky enough to receive an #invite to @vesselsydney in Barangaroo the other day to try their new menu - couldn't visit and not try the burger though π
Vessel Double: beef, double cheese, pickles, onion jam and tomato relish in a bun w/ beer battered chips π π
Cute little burger, loved the addition of the caramelized onion. If I didn't order the spatchcock and dessert as well I'd have smashed a double ππ

First time:
Pros:
- Nice Italian dining ambience, waterside view, and chefs visible in view
- Gelato dessert was definitely one of the best gelatos I've ever had - 100% full of flavour, not sickly sweet or too creamy and milky, and not too stringy and dense either
- garlic pizza - great big size, with oozing cheese. Very well made.
- Service - friendly, and just the right amount of theatricality.
Cons:
- Size of the main dishes - they were small.
- Price tag for the size - not a fair price
- The range of main dishes - quite limited, not a vast range of meat protein options (there were about 5 or 6 meat dishes max)
- The taste of the main dishes and entrees. Β Arancini balls did not ooze of creamy sauce or cheese in the middle, quite flavourless. Mushroom risotto was liquidy instead of creamy, and the porcini smell was too overpowering for the risotto to be enjoyable. Β The veal dish had a very small portion of three small veal pieces, which equate to around 100g veal altogether.
Second time:
Chose better dinner options - Great pizzas and spatchcock
Third time:
Came for lunch, ordered the salmon and broccoli dish. Came out in less than 10 minutes, with the perfect size of salmon (looked about 140g), and good amount of broccoli. Great for healthy lunches.

Food: Barrumundi w/ pea puree & corn
Food was good, fish was cooked very well.
Pea puree was exceptional. could not fault the dish
Service: was great, staff were very helpful
Atmosphere is nice and relaxing
Price: $28
I'm here 1-4 times a day working right across the street. Β The staff are friendly and the pump out coffee quickly and without burning it.
The meals at the restaurant are good as well, although a little pricey for what they are but that's what you get on Darling Harbour. Β I recommend the pizzas over the entrees if you're looking for something to eat.
Hit and miss, not a quick option for time savvy business people. Beautiful and varied breakfast and lunch options. Table service is slow and they got my meal order wrong. Coffee is good but morning line tends can be long. Cashier is pleasant but slow.
Simply Scrumptious. This restaurant has to be one of the nicest places i have been to
well done to the chefs and all the staff for making my anniversary dinner one to remember
Simple, authentic Italian. Good food, great service, awesome location.

Situated on the ground floor of the new Macquarie building it is easy to get to and would be perfect for those wanting something to peck on after the Friday booze sessions especially as the silly season approaches.
Great service, great coffee and a great breakfast.
Not much more to say really, good to find a place doing things so well.
The day that I visited was the first day of the new menu, I had the porridge which I think will be a big hit.
Highly recommended, thank you.
Food is good, not so pricey.
Large servings and well prepared meals.
I've been to Vessel a couple of times and both times have been really enjoyable. The pasta is fresh and beautiful with great flavours that make you drool! The staff have always been really friendly, Italian (which is always a bonus as an Italian restaurant) and honest about the dishes they like (or aren't that keen on). I highly recommend the prawn oricchiette (I could eat this every day and not get bored of it)!
Great selection of food and wine. Great for a casual dinner out with friends.
