Bowan Island Bakery - Sydney - Photo album

Very delicious food. We had the B.E.A.T (Bacon eggs avocado and tomato) and it was very tasty the Bacon very crispy the avocado very fresh. We really enjoyed our lunch. Not expensive average price . We definitely go there again. Staff very helpful and friendly the table and chairs were clean.
The service was fine but the food is honestly subpar for the price you pay - perhaps the bakery itself is better but I definitely wouldn’t be visiting for brunch again.
Overpriced for subpar food. When going to a bakery, your mind immediately goes to pastry perfection and waves of savoury flavour. Sadly this place just does not meet the cut, as much as the staff are cordial. The pies and sausage rolls are reminiscent of the late 90s to early 2000s grungy, service
My Mocha was so nice , drank to the very bottom usually I'll get coffee where it's too much chocolate on the bottom. The Bowan Brekkie was simply delicious , mushrooms was my fave from the dish. I chose my eggs scrambled and other choices were also a fried egg or poach. Was happy with the service an
This place has the WORST service ever. I asked for dairy free scrambled eggs due to a dairy allergy, to be told “we are too busy for that”. We have two kids and the place is full of them. Only two high chairs available and our daughter sat in a shopping trolley to eat. Bread was the size of a fly an
The large hazelnut coffee was Awesome! Their service was fast coffee is ready within 2.5mins. (Credit card surcharge is 1.25%)
Eggs Florentine tasted ok... However poached eggs were overcooked, and for $16.90 I would've expected more than 1 measly slice of smoked salmon barely covering each piece of bread. Spinach also wasn't cooked, some may like it that way but it seems a bit cheaply put together...
This is a pretty poor excuse for sourdough from a place that markets itself as the original sourdough bakery with an 80 year old "mother culture". Not to mention they got the order wrong. And my burger had a stray (not-edible) eucalyptus leaf and almond in it. What if I had a nut allergy??
