Had take away, and loved the food. Had beef rendang, sambal fish and Singapore noodles. My highest recommendation for the food, though they missed one of the items we ordered.
We usually get home delivery from this restaurant and their food is consistent and fabulous. A very picky minor comment or two would be that the roti is too oily and the Singapore Noodles contained no dry curry at all which is something I actually love about the Singapore Noodles dish. The service was fine and the food was OK but it really isn't a Singaporean restaurant anymore. It is more like a generic Chinese takeaway serving imitation Singaporean food. We probably should have deduced this from the specials board which only had dishes like Mongolian beef on it.
BEWARE! THIS IS NOT THE GINGER AND SPICE THAT YOU ONCE KNEW. The old chef has gone and the quality has unfortunately tanked. The chicken rice still has flavour but is soggy and more oily. The pork ribs is more bland. The Singapore Chilli prawns are not as fresh and the sauce not as flavoursome. Eve
I ordered 5 dishes - NGOH HIANG, IKAN BILIS (too sweet), SQUID KECHAP MANIS (too much batter), KANGKUNG BELACHAN (tasteless), LIMAU PURUT DUCK CURRY (too much coconut cream and too sweet - made me regurgitate all night).
