Great quite place to study, read and grab coffee and sweet treats. The atmosphere is really good, the food is kind of 3.5/5 but it’s good cod you already got the atmosphere
Amazing little spot for brunch or dates. Hub of artisans, book nerds, craft nerds and coffee lovers as the cafe is surrounded by books. The shop boasts new books, second-hand books, craft items, housed in three stories. Well worth a visit for a caffeinated introvert. Will definitely be back. Hot chocolate we had was nice and rich. Will definitely be back for the coffee and wonderful libraries! Only gave 4 stars bc I only got hot chocolate, so I can’t truly judge!
I have to say it is my favourite spot before it gets too crowded recently. Perfectly located beside bars cinemas and restaurants, it has everything I need for a lazy day-wine, nice coffee, great selection of books. Guess the best of it is they open till 9pm at night. I want to keep this place my secret garden of Eden. But it seems like recently there flushed lots of people who are not really a book fan coming over and pretending they are book addicts these days, which is annoying. I guess I just I am just a little too mean over ordinary peasants.XD I don’t mean it...
Honestly? I don't come here for the food.
The place is awesome, great for finding good books, a great study space when it's not too busy. So it's 5 stars in my mind based on that. But Zomato is a food review app so unfortunately 3.5 or less.
The coffee is average but it's a great place to go at night before or after a film at Palace Verona next door. Some wine and chit-chat. A cookie if you're naughty.
Overall: It's a standard café that happens to be open till very late and has wonderful books.
Run of the mill takeaway skim latte. Buit this time I got to peruse books and magazines while waiting. It really is a beautiful building and set up. Must return and try the food.
Small coffees are too small.
Everthing is so authentic and beautiful except coffees. I highly recommend this cafe.
One of the nicest and best value cheese boards in Sydney, a perfect spot to have a glass of wine after a movie at the Verona next door
Relaxing ambience with a great sky view outside the window. Another great place for chai latte and chill out in the afternoon.
