Delicious Korean food - can attest as I get takeaway here at least once a week. Can't recommend it enough!

My favourite dishes are the marinated grilled spare ribs and the fried pork with sweet and sour sauce.

I absolutely adore this place. The food was great and the staff were really hospitable. I had some chicken noodles (Kalguksu) because I was sick and I felt good after. I would recommend improving on the ambience a bit more, maybe lowering the volume of the music and using more acoustic music instead than SNSD or smth.

The huge couches you sit on is a big sell. I had the short rib soup and it was very very average for $17. No love was put in this dish tonight. The Bibimbap however was a hit. Very well presented, fresh ingredients and a side of soup to balance out the flavours. Their korean side dishes were decent as well...

Nice cosy place with a relaxed atmosphere.
I went here during the school week at around 2pm and it was completely empty (no customers). I've heard that this restaurant gets quite busy though. The food arrived pretty fast (what a surprise).

Food: not terrible but not great. A bit better than mediocre.
Price: affordable

A hidden gem. A very comfortable and welcoming cafe with friendly staff that serves great food.
On a busy day, I waited up to 40 minutes for 1 dish to even arrive. That was the only downside. (lack of staff? Lol). Normal wait would be 5-15 minutes.
Other than that, I highly recommend!!

A nice cosy place for a quick lunch with decent prices and menu. They have some lunch specials for cheap but their usuals are < $15 anyway. I noticed a lot of Koreans coming in so I assume it's good/authentic haha :P I got the cold bibimbap which was quite tasty, it was one of the lunch specials. They gave sides with my friend's soup which was nice.

I love cafe c'ya so much!
As a Korean, it tastes authentic and it's not overpriced like some other Korean restaurants in Sydney. The staffs are also friendly and the atmosphere feels very cozy 😊

Cute little below-pavement Korean cafe in a laneway near Metro. Most dishes around $15, barring lunch specials and the pricier share plates. I had bul go gi, marinated grilled beef, which is served with five small side dishes: kimchi, seaweed, jelly, bean sprouts and macaroni. Washed down with a bottle of Korean beer - Hite - for a fiver. Nice food, diverse flavours and a good price.

The couches lure you.

Looks like a nice cosy place to be in.

Foodwise, it's prettt good as well. As all Korean places, the banchans are always good.

Their seafood pancakes and cold bimbimbap are the best

Cafe C'ya, located in the hidden awnings of the alley next to metro theatre, is a quaint and cozy Korean restaurant that serves authentic Korean food. We ordered the Jap Che ($14), Bibimbap ($15) and a noodle soup. The Jap Che was very filling as an entree however delicious. The bibimbap and noodle soup were also quite good and we enjoyed it. Service was quick and quite friendly.

This korean restaurant is located in an alley way, not easy to find. Tried their jumbo black bean seafood noodle and sizzeling beef. The food is an average, but good customer service

The place is not too big, but quite cozy. We ordered the beef bulgogi and kimchi soup. The flavour on the bulgogi is nice, however it's a bit dry. On the other hand, the kimchi soup is on point, a recommended dish. We were given quite a selection of side dishes by the friendly staffs, and they even offered to fill our side dishes that almost finished.

To me, I think this place is small and cosy enough to be called a cafe, but with the huge selection of food available, it can also be considered a full-fledged restaurant.

... very, very few Korean restaurants that have made the mark of what I consider to be decent Korean food. Cafe C'Ya, on the strength of their jajang myeon , is one of the few that I would consider going back to. Tucked away in a small laneway off George St, near The Metro and The eVent cinema complex in the city, and away from the informal Koreatown of the lower end of Pitt St, you could be forgiven for not knowing that it was even there. Once you enter the premises, the decor is rather ty
