Review Adora Handmade Chocolates - Sydney

Perfect little nook for a quick catch up and hot choc. They even give your choice of free fancy chocs to go with your hot chocolate. Value in Sydney?! Who knew it was still possible! And they didn’t even kick us out at closing time. Classy!

Friendly staff and clean environment! Loved the atmosphere and amazing chocolate displays, especially when ordering a coffee came with one free chocolate piece 😁😁

Dismayed that my usual chocolate cafes wouldn't open for another couple of hours and not wanting to sink to the depths of depravity and order overpriced powdered chocolate water from a regular cafe, I came to Adora. Desperate for a good quality hot chocolate to warm me from the blast of cold wind outside, I was delighted by the beverage I was served. The Belgian hot chocolate was perfectly balanced, sweet and creamy without being overwhelmingly rich. The staff were just as sweet and warm as the hot chocolate and the added bonus of a complimentary chocolate I got to select from their assortment rounded out the experience to a perfect five stars. I'll be back!

Got a mouthy lecture yesterday when I asked if the $33 of nougat I bought could be put in a box (as a present). Now company/store policy boxes are for chocolates only apparently. Would've paid extra for the box if that was an option. Was offered a fancy Adora bag (probably cost the same to produce) but not a stock-standard small Adora cardboard box. I'd been buying a similar amount of nougat every fortnight for the past few years but won't be spending any more money at Adora with that sort of penny-pinching & poor customer service.

Great hot chocolate that comes with a complementary chocolate that you choose from a huge array of delicious chocolates. Nice place to sit. Efficient and friendly staff.

Good coffee and amazing chocolates. I've been going to adora for the last few years for gifts for mates and clients and the handmade chocolates are a hit each time. Coffee is a bit pricier than other places but you get a free chocolate- which is the singular reason to go here in the first place.

Very recommended to visit Adora… Best hot chocolate in Sydney…. Uniquely is the homemake chocolates try their blueberry one… sweets enough and not oversweet ❤️

Got these chocolates as a gift, the taste was awesome, but one of them had some mould in it (despite that the "best before" date was still fine. Update: I attached photos of the mould, but they were deleted.

Their ready made cookie dough and hot chocolate are really simple to prepare.
⠀
🍪Chunky chocolate cookie dough ⠀
🌹Raspberry and Rose Petal Milk Hot Chocolate Blend⠀
⠀
The cookies are PACKED with chocolate. I prefer soft cookies, but if you like hard cookies just leave it in the oven longer.⠀
⠀
Paired the cookies with a lovely and unique blend of hot chocolate. I love the contrast of the sour raspberry in the warm indulgent chocolate.

Discovered this place while going for high tea at the sofitel.
So happy it's close to our city office as I love this place.
They have the best hot chocolate out! Best of all, it comes with a free chocolate of your choice.
Service was good and wait time was quick.
Definitely recommend trying this place.

The chocolate is absolutely lovely. We went in here by chance to grab some hot chocolates and got one handmade chocolate with it. The hot chocolate was lovely, very rich and natural tasting. I tried the Carmel chocolate which was very nice and definitely tasted handmade, the caramel inside tasted unartificial.

Hard to go past this place and not be tempted by all the handmade chocolates on display. All coffees come with your choice of a handmade chocolates and I'm sure they factor this in with the pricing as well. Affogato ($6.50) using ‘Adora's very own gelato made with fresh milk and vanilla beans ’ has a good amount of gelato and the coffee is strong. I chose the Ginger Truffle as my chocolate side which was very nice. I'm assuming the coffee is from The Coffee Roaster which is on the sugar packets. Service friendly and there's a few tables around for dining in. There's also some very yummy looking cakes on display which I'll have to try some other time.

Absolutely love the hot chocolates here; they are made with a generous amount of very creamy milk or dark chocolate. Any order of a drink comes with a choice of a single chocolate - the pistachio splinter is a personal favourite. Also a very nice selection of gifts.

Coffee's arrive with a free handmade chocolate . I ordered an iced mocha which isn't on the menu and they were happy to use it. Some of the staff seem new so there was a lot of conferring but they were nice and offered good service. Plenty of comfortable seating and great access as the seating isn't enclose. My iced mocha was sweet, rich and tasty. I'm not one for too much ice or whipped cream so I loved it, particularly as it didn't taste diluted as some iced beverages can.

What a perfect start to a rainy winter's day! Needed something hot and sweet to start the day and nothing says that better than a hot chocolate. Located in the Wentworth Connection right next to the Sofitel Wentworth Hotel. I had a Milk Hot Chocolate and it comes with a complimentary chocolate so I went with a Coconut Cluster. The hot chocolate was really delicious and creamy which you can mix the chocolate into the milk and can see why they had lines out of the door today. The chocolate was lovely as well. Service was super friendly.

I actually purchase my triple chocolate brownie at a pop-up store at a convention, and I found it to be dense and rich and yummy. Not the best brownie ever in my opinion- I needed more chocolate chunks- but still, a decent brownie. The ladies serving me were smiley and friendly.

Great location for coffee catch ups and a little sugary pick me up. Good coffee and a piece of handmade chocolate of your choice for around $4.5 is a bargain in my books. Comfortable set up for business catch ups and choosing a piece of chocolate from over 20 different (but all delicious) types is always a good ice breaker.

The ladies behind the counter are so cheerful and lovely that I love to grab a coffee there just to have a chat. The hot chocolates are amazing as well. Everyone will have their own fav chocolate from there but the Ben Hur and macadamia pyramid (think a big piece of Toblerone but with really good chocolate and macadamia bits) always makes me happy.

Adora became well-known (aside from making amazing chocolates) after James Packer requested they supply chocolates for his wedding – he even had them shipped internationally. Adora offers a vast range of handmade chocolates, they also offer chocolate classes, high tea and catering.

Good Chocolates. Good chocolates - good coffee. Nice staff. Fair prices.

Yum!. Great tasting chocolates that satisfied my chocolate cravings. While the prices are expensive, they are great quality and worth getting. I really enjoyed their caramel and ginger chocolate pieces and even their chocolate bars (70% dark chocolate and white) were good. There are more flavours that I want to try!

Chocolate!. Good a handful of the chocolates - 3 different types in a box. Very good - bag of the coconut roughs was even better. Not cheap but great chocolate.

Love it. This little cafe/chocolate shop was a lucky find as the brownie and hot chocolate is near perfection! Lucky for me I no longer work in town otherwise I will be seeking the brownies out every morning (before they get sold out)....However, on the rare occassion when I am in Sydney, I try to get one or two for my long arduous journey home.

Worlds Best Chocolate. Possibly the best coffee in Sydney...same goes for hot chocolates...and chill out location...they all come with a free gourmet choccy too! LOVE THIS PLACE...

Choc full of sinful things. I adora Adora...and for good reason. Situated in the foyer leading to the entrance of Sofitel, it's easy to have a business meeting here and indulge in quality coffee and more importantly yummy chocolate. You can have a coffee and a handcrafted chocolate frog thrown in....or if you were more fussy, buy a deluxe piece that is not standard. My favourites: Truffles of Coffee Gold, Cinnamon Chilli or Grenache; or try the Chocolates of Glazed Ginger or Orange Marzipan.
Whatever you choose, I bet you will have a good time and come back for more.
Mum and kid friendly too as it should be when there is chocolate involved.
