We just got takeaway pizza from Epic Pizza and we loved it. Obviously not your traditional Italian pizza but we definitely loved the thin base. The Ham & Pineapple Pizza (pictured) was excellent: just the right amount of pineapple and good quality ham. #epicpizza
What I love about this place is how massive their pizzas are!!!!! Still to this day I am absolute shocked!!! 22 inch pizza!!! Drop by and you will see what I mean!
You could literally eat your body weight in food here because the pizzas are of epic proportion here. The novelty of seeing a 22" New York-style pizza is definitely worth the visit and the pizzas are quite nice here. Customer service could improve though as it was often quite difficult to get the attention of the staff.

You got a door, you got a gym. I believe in this. I do go to the gym but I also have doors at home I use. Donโt cut carbs. Eat your pizza and then hit your gym (door) and watch what happens.

Yeah definitely reminded me of the Big Apple with the huge single slices and setup. It wonโt be for everyone but I still think everyone should try it once

I'm a local and a regular, I love the pizza but you guys wouldn't make me an extra large pepperoni on the night after matigras.

This place makes massive pizzas! I tried the Leonardo de capricciosa pizza, which had ham, mushrooms and olives. It was huge and tasty, cheese and all the toppings were great. Pizza dough was thin and ends fluffly. Would get again but maybe not for awhile, as it is a big cheat meal!

It's epic and its epically huuuuge! Finally someone bringing NY style slice pizza to Sydney! We had this for a work party and it was awesome! Super cheesy, super meaty and super epic!
This is the second time I have eaten from here. First time we ordered via Uber eats and most recently I picked up as I was around the area. Ordered the large Ok USA with the roquette man salad. The pizza was slightly over cooked this second time, some slices of pepperoni was more on the burnt side. The pizza was still nice though which was good.
These pizzas definitely remind me of pizzas back in the USA. Nice pizza bases which have a nice crunch at the bottom.

If your into thick bases and delicious toppings then be sure to take a visit. We recommend one 22inch pizza can be eaten between 4-5 people, which will not only leaving you feeling satisfied but also leaving you with a heavier wallet as the cost per person ranges between $10- $15 each all depending on the type of pizza and how many people split the pizza.
We have tried a few types including the Pepperoni, The Spring Chicken and the Straight Outta Siciliy which we all drooled over and definitely recommend you give it a go. If you want to try more than one pizza they are more than happy to split a large pizza and offer two flavours.
In a rush and don't have time to devour an entire pizza, don't worry, they also serve up epic slices for $6 which are perfect for on the go!
Big juicy American style pizza sold by the slice as well as full size. I haven't eaten this type for a long time since authentic thin crusts became the norm. Here you will find a thick base with extra doughy crust and lots of topping. No Salt Meats Cheese stinginess! Fold the slice in half and eat like New Kids On The Block! Best thing is they open late, so perfect during a big night out. It's $6.50 a slice but I reckon two is enough for a meal. Woman at the register was super chirpy.

It's official- Epic Pizza's Fat Tony is the best slice of pizza I've eaten in the six years I've lived in Australia.
I only discovered Shawcross Pizza in Melbourne last week and it was great - especially the USA Today (pepperoni) pizza. When I found out they opened a shop in Sydney - Epic Pizza - I had to try it.
I'm so glad I did, because this is one of those rare instances when the student surpasses the master

The Fat Tony was amazing. A great crust topped with a wonderful tomato sauce and covered with just the right amount of cheese. The Fat Tony has become the standard by which all future pizza in Australia will be measured.
The OK USA was good, but I actually preferred the USA Today at Shawcross. To tell the truth, the whole time I was eating my slice of OK USA I was thinking about my second slice of Fat Tony.
A friend tried the V.W.A.(Veggies With Attitude) and said it was good, but nowhere near as good as the Fat Tony.
All three pizzas had great crust, but I prefer to dip my crust in pizza sauce. Fortunately, great minds think alike and they sell small cups of dipping sauce as well. Thus, I was able to enjoy more of the sauce that made the pizza great and polish off my crusts in style.
I highly recommend Epic Pizza!

Got delivery via Menulog. Came on time, excellent pizza. Is on the pricey side tho don't think I would have got it if it wasn't for the first time discount. There needs to be a size in between large and 22'. Large is like a medium from anywhere else but 22 is massive
Update: ordered the 15โ good size! And pizza was good - base isnโt thin and crispy nor thick somewhere in the middle. Recommend the New Yorker ๐๐ผ
I've eaten Epic Pizza on 3 occasions now and so far they haven't disappointed, if you go in to the store you can pick up a few slices of the massive 22" or just get it delivered.
If you just want a quick slice or you want a massive 22" to feed a small army then this is the place, consistently good pizza at a pretty good price.
I'd recommend the notorious p.i.g. If you like a bit of spice.
Amazing pizza! Definitely love coming back to this place over and over again. Ever since watching teenage mutant ninja turtles as a kid I have wanted to eat that flimsy, stretchy, huge slice of pizza and this definitely hits the spot! Recommend the fat tony, which is surprisingly good even as a guy loves meat!
Witty names like the Jon Bon Chovy pizza (which was super salty and quite spicy). I really liked the mozzarella and brie one. We had the pizza delivered, and it was pretty good (Oct 2016)
Did take-away. A large meatball pizza. This time it was just fine, nothing special. Although having it with a homemade negroni does tend to lift things up. I have to say, I hate that the sizes of the pizza are large, extra large, and epic... (rather than small, medium and large). I couldn't detect an ironic wink. It just felt like marketing stupidity (Sept 2017)
Base is really nice, fluffy and great flavour. And for us that was after pick up, driving home, getting settled and then eating. Cheese and basil was delicious!!! The Cajun chicken had a bit of a weird flavour that I didn't super love but the Margherita more than made up for it.
Would definitely get that again!! Yum!
Amazing pizza slice the size of my face which also taste delicious. We ordered a 22" and every single bite was delicious. New pizza favourite in Darlinghurst and nothing more you want from a huge slice of pizza.
I tried Epic Pizza for the first time and really enjoyed it. Service was really friendly and the Happy Hour from 3-5pm is a really great deal! Slices are huge and taste is great too so will definitely be back.
The closest we have in the hood to a NY slice joint and those face sized slices always tempt me.
I took a lot of photos of the exterior because I had to wait an extraordinary 30 mins on top of my pick up time. I'll chalk it up to hard lockdown demand but I'm suss.
I was apprehensive for their vegan pizzas after my Newtown experience made me less than impressed but I got a large happy daize and boy it was huge and lurrrvvverley.
It looks messy but it was cheesey, full of mushrooms and a lot of olives. The dough was thin but nice and savoury the crust was a pleasure to monch.
Will go back to try the other vegan pie. Bellissimo.
i got a slice of pepperoni and it was amazing the portion and the flavour were pretty spot on. the only thing i would say is slightly less oregano, as it was almost over powering the terrific pepperoni slices. if you want a big slice of pizza to remind you of New York definitely recommend going here.
Incredible, NY style pizza joint. Not afraid of flavour and perfect balance of ingredients Definitely a takeaway kinda place rather than eat in. They sell single slices as big as your head too, so it's perfect for a quick pit stop and bite on the way to the footy.
