We came here for pre dinner cocktails, the staff are supper polite and fiends some sexy bar staff, the cock tails where well balanced my friend also had a bowl of sweet potato chips which where quiet nice :-)
Great bar with a gorgeous lounge area. It's a lovely place to kick back with friends and enjoy cocktails while people watching along the waterside. The space is huge so great for parties and celebrations.
Finally there is a decent bar in Darling Harbour that doesn't feel like a tourist trap. The light blue and white interiors remind us of holiday time in a seaside resort. The bar stretches out along the west side of Darling Harbour overlooking the water. The large outside lounge is a perfect place to put your feet up and watch the world go by. Many beer on tap and cocktails. The whole bar is breezy, vibrant, and offers great water front dining and drinking. We loved it and would come back for more
Love this place! Seriously amazing design and dĆ©cor, it feels like a night outĀ on a beautiful European Harbour.Ā I have been a few time since the opening and thoroughly enjoyed myself... those waterfront cabanas are amazing! Bring on Summer at The Port Froze in hand!
The Port has recently opened its doors for the first time, and we were so excited to visit for the launch! Set beside Darling Harbour and with an impressive cocktail and fine food selection, it was the perfect night of great eats and fun beats! On offer was an amazing selection of cheeses, meats, olives and the juiciest grapes weāve ever tasted! On the regular menu, you can find this type of fare as the Single Origin Cheese Plate, or the Jamon, Artichoke, Olives and Pecorino Plate. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sashimi station, where the chef carved up beautifully thin pieces of salmon and kingfish that melted in the mouth, available as part of the Raw and Cured selection on the menu.
The Port is a new and refreshing addition welcomed into Darling Harbour. Too often is one found disappointed at inflated prices all for substandard food in a dated and grubby fitout thanks to years of high tourist traffic without a refresh. Itās still all very new and shiny, and Iād love to see how the light-grey lounge areas hold up a few months in after a few too many groups of mildly tipsy (and onward) groups. The fit out is open and airy, with an upmarket coastal vibe. Seating arrangements start from a long formal dining room area, semi-formal lounge seating at waterfront, inside cabanas, intimate internal lounge areas, cabanas, to casual waterfront lounge settings, mind you, the latter are snapped up quickly on a beautiful day.
Itās conveniently hidden away at this quieter corner of darling harbour, sporting a lot less foot traffic. They have an advanced cocktail menu here and theyāre also well priced ā cheaper than a number of cocktail bars in the CBD and inner āburbs. Donāt look past the bright orange of the blood-orange Casoni Negroni ($16). Their jugs are also delicious, with Cucumber Sangria ($24) easily looking after four and pouring a subtle, refreshing tipple for a warm day. Wine menu is also surprisingly reasonable, with the most expensive bottle pouring at $85, with the exception of a Reims sparkling ($175).
The Portās menu really maintains the coastal vibe. Thereās plenty of seafood, salad options, share plates and platters, and itās clear itās built for sharing. There are however the odd few favourites sneaking in with the likes of steak & ribs. The scallops ($24) are beautifully presented with blood orange and fennel. Theyāre generally quite small though so you may be better off with oysters. (4 @ $14). I loved the crispy school prawns ($19) ā they lived up to the name and fortunately the rosemary was nowhere to be found. This could have done with a little more sauce but overall the serving size on these was impressive.
The staff were friendly, food was speedy and as mentioned above, really great value. This is one worth returning to, and many times. Loved the fit out and relaxed vibe ā perfect for a day overlooking the water.
In need of a night cap drinkie I checked out this bar with @plus1guest and @sydneyeventblogger. I was very happy with my Casoni's Negroni - Bombay Sapphire Gin, Campari, Sweet Vermouth, Blood Orange Juice, Rosemary ($16). The Gin Mare Gin & Tonic ($10.50) is a great gin to enjoy as a GT. Sydney Event Blogger was happy with her Havana's Mojito - Havana Anejo Rum, Blood Orange, Lime, Mint ($17). This bar is huge and when we visited we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Thankfully the balcony lounge seating and the cool background music provided a cosy area to chillax and enjoy the water and city view. Arriving just before 10 pm I was hoping to try their oysters but the only thing on offer was their sourdough flat breads at the time even though they're open til 12 am. Plenty of seating options throughout. Bartender was friendly. During the warmer months will be a great spot for after work drinks.
Really great layout which makes it a perfect destination for a dinner (nice choice of mains around the $30 mark) overlooking Darling Harbour. Outside and toward the bridge end of the space are lounge areas, stools and private booths which are perfect for casual drinks and share plates from the snacks menu. Service staff were great! Loved the fresh seafood here (salmon and oysters) and their blood orange mojito.
A great place to eat. Just next to pyrmont Bridge with views to the water. Food is nice and tasty and well presented.
Visited the port with a friend for dinner and relaxed drinks midweek.
A very chill and pretty nautical vibes at the port, lovely staff who looked after us and I love the addition of the neon sign and indoor swing š
The venue overlooks the harbour, with some delicious starters and mains on offer. To start we had the caramelized camembert cheese, calamari and rock oysters. Really loved the cheese, the calamari was quite good and the oysters were fresh.
To finish we shared the lamb shank pie which seemed to be a crowd favourite, delicious in depth flavour with some fresh green beans and potatoes.
Drink specials are great here and the espresso martinis are the specialty šš¹
Served with polite waitresses. They used real prawns for their spaghetti and taste so good. Pan fried salmon perfectly cooked with moist sealed inside and crispy skin. Value for money and will come back and taste other dishes.
Great bar with nice decor and views. The food is average, it seemed to be heated from the fridge, some part of the dish was very cold and tasteless.
Enjoyable afternoon drinks and light food at a great location. Great specials for happy hour. Brilliant on a hot summer's day for either a pit stop or settling in for an arvo session
Great venue space, lounges. Suits for casual and special occasions. With beautiful waterfront views of Darling Harbour.
Loved this place! Came here for drinks on an afternoon stroll & booked a table for a lovely meal. I never felt out of place being a solo traveller & the view is gorgeous. Staff are super friendly. I would deffiantely recommend.
Great service & good place to eat and good coffee. Friendly staff and service with a smile. And lets not forget those DARLING HOUBOUR VIEWS.
