Nice staff. Good homemade food. If you’ve been to Peru you will know this place
Good tasting food and friendly staff. Had a hotbird chicken burger with chips. The burger was nice with very soft bun and nicely grilled chicken piece. Chips were crispy

La Hacienda is possibly the only eatery in the whole of Sydney that serves real home cooked Peruvian food! Came here with friends. Service could of been better and faster but the staff are all Peruvians. Easily missed if you don't see the big Peruvian flag hanging.
We first ordered a jug of Chicha Morada
(a purple corn sweet drink) and Papa a la Huancaina; a boiled potato entree dish covered in a creamy sauce. I really enjoyed the late spicy kick of the sauce. We probably should of ordered more like the leche de tigre or anticuchos.
For main, we ordered (shared off course!) the Parihuela, Seco a la Norteña and the Chicharron. I really love seafood and soups (or stews) so I was very eager to try Parihuela. It tasted great! Must of been the tomatoes or the fresh seafood or the coriander but it was great! The Seco a la Norteña was probably my favourite dish! The small lamb stew thing is reminiscent of a spicy Indian curry! And I like Indian curries a lot! The Chicharron was a disappointment. Meat was really tough. Maybe we should of gotten the Ceviche as it's the most famous Peruvian dish in the world, but... next time :)
For dessert, no photos sorry, I had a piece of the Tres Leches. Actually really good! Wasn't too sweet. Capped off a good meal!
I would love to come back one day, and i hope foodies in Sydney would try this cafe. They also have normal cafe food but don't eat it :)
Went for lunch here with a friend and had a lovely meal. The interior is beautifully decorated, it has an authentic vibe and the staff are very friendly. There is also a huge menu and all day breakfast. I had a delicious cheese omelette!
HUNGRY SUMMARY - An authentic rare place on Sydney for some Incan Indulgence.
PLEASE FOLLOW ME ON INSTA - hungrypandaxx. Will start posting delish food there too. Thank you!
Food - Tuca Tuca for main and Potatoes and egg for the entree. The main was delicious, especially the fried sweet potatoes. The entree was very unique in taste and had a strong corn taste to it.
Drink - Inca Kola. Gotta taste it, tastes like sweet honey fizz, heaps good.
Price - $44 all up including Inca Kola. I'd say the price is high unless you split but it's definitely worth.
Setting - great Peruvian themed setting with good music in th background. Definitely makes the place authentic. Staff are friendly.
Note* place usually opens for brekky and lunch.
Just wandering past and felt hungry. This place was busy so I dropped in for a meal. Great menu, everything was healthy and well made. Staff are careful and friendly although English is second language. Coffee has just the right punch.
