This place is great! We got the pork roll, pork and prawn rice paper rolls and crispy skin chicken in vermicelli for $26!! Food came out very quick and was very tasty. Will be back.
Absolutely loved the food! Ordered the rice paper rolls, tofu and lemongrass main, noodles and vegan fried rice. Full of flavour and really light on the tummy. Attentive staff and well designed interiors.
Ordered the Chicken Pho and it was exactly what I would expect from a good traditional Vietnamese restaurant. Other guests ordered the Rice Vermicelli, Crispy chicken noodle soup, and a Vietnamese roll. All were generous portions and reported to be very good. Great value for money. Ambience is okay, casual sort of vibe, great for large groups. Order at the register and they bring your meal to you. Service was good and food came out quickly.
Well priced and delicious food. Wonderful, relaxed atmosphere with friendly service. The salt and pepper chicken was unreal. Highly recommend the Wagyu beef and eggplant and tofu stew, beautiful flavours and a massive portion, always good to share. Definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back.
Beef Pho is consistently good with just cooked beef and nice savoury soup that is not too sweet or salty. Nice dipping sauces
Crispy skin chicken w rice is yummy and comforting for most days
Rice paddy curry from the dishes menu is tasty and yummy.
Vermicelli salads are nice and refreshing, veg is greater not too thin or thick for a nice mouth feel.
Pork spring roll is much better than veg spring roll.
Rice paper rolls are ok, well packed and do not fall apart and at the same time not too thick so u get a sticky mouth feel from the skin.
Here for lunch right now at Nguyen Brothers. Ordered the Rice Vermicelli in wok-fried beef and grilled pork. Both just yummy!
We had pho last time and the stock has always been good. Highly recommend trying out his place if you’re around the corner :)
The fountain Street complex has really turned out nicely and this viet place fits right in. Pho and fried chicken - can't miss really and they didn't disappoint.
Recommended. And the fact you can grab a campos on the way out is no great hardship either.
Nice Vietnamese Joint in Alexandria. The design of the place is borderline innovative and decorative and the food is also borderline very nice and worthwhile. I like it, will be back although not my absolute no 1 favourite.
Nice little Vietnamese set up in Alexandria in the complex with 'Salt, meats, cheese' and campos. Bright atmosphere, nice decor and lighting. A friend recommended this place. Menu is quite extensive, a range of typical Vietnamese entrees, with the addition of tapioca dumplings, grilled pork belly on a stick and a range of salads. A good variety of mains, meat dishes including clay pots, stir fried options and DIY wrappings. The regular pho and vermicelli noodle options are available. I got the rice noodle in chicken stock and my husband ordered the pho with beef stock, rare beef brisket and beef balls. With the stock brewed for 8 hours it was very flavoursome. Service was very fast and unobtrusive.
Crispy chicken with rice is a must eat (don't forget their sauce!) Always happy with the food at this joint. Gladly come here once a week for lunch!
Nice vietnamese restaurant located in a commercial premises. Customer service is attentive and the atmosphere is very modern and spacious. I had the sticky rice dessert and it was delicious. I definitely will go back to try something else.
A nice vietnamese restaurant, love the chilled atmosphere. Absolutely love the steamed tapioca dumplings with prawn and pork dumplings. Main i had caramelised fish in clay pot this was tasty and fish was cooked perfectly. also had crispy vietnamese pancake this was a dispointment the pancake was very soggy and not crunchy at all and oily. Dessert was a delight it was sticky rice banana this was the only dessert option. Perhaps they need more options for desserts. would come back to try other dishes
A few weeks ago I was walking home from the gym and discovered this new Vietnamese restaurant. It’s not a secret that Vietnamese is my favourite Asian cuisine, so I organised a visit asap. This venue belongs to the owners of Yen for Viet, which seems to be one of the good Vietnamese restaurants in Marrickville.
Great Vietnamese shop in a nice new development in Alexandria. Got a vegetarian and grilled pork vermicelli bowls, both great. The grilled pork came on skewers and was quite juicy. Will definitely come again to try the pho!
Nice dinning experience here for lunch with family and friends. The Vietnamese food is very good, the service is friendly and the range of dishes offered is wide enough so there will be something for everyone. The pho was a good flavour - the noodles and soup stock very nice but the beef was quite tough and unfortunately let the dish down. Otherwise everything else was good and highly recommended.
We came here for lunch and had a lovely meal - a Combination Beef Pho and a Wagyu Beef Pho - both were fragrant and tasty - love how the bean sprouts and basil is already in the soup. The price is on the higher side for the size but the friendly service and cleanliness of the warehouse-vibe dining area makes up for it. We will definitely be back to try other dishes - if we can find parking 😂
Popped in for a quick lunch on the way to the airport and we all really enjoyed our meals. Egg noodles with chicken, gluten free rice noodles with beef and salmon and rice from the specials board. Plenty of meat and veggies in each meal and lovely and fresh. Great viet iced coffee also. Kid friendly. Knowledgeable staff and service with a smile. I’ll be back to try the spring rolls and rice paper rolls!
Friendly and efficient service. We had the rice vermicelli noodles $16 each. Good portions with the crispy chicken type. The sugarcane prawns could have a couple more rolls although the flavour was lovely.
Ordered the tofu/vegetarian pho (beef soup, faithful vegetarian beware) and crispy chicken vermicelli. I enjoyed the pho soup a lot. However, the pho came with added bean sprouts and mint where traditional kept them separate. My wife enjoyed the chicken vermicelli a lot.
Environment is is clean and there's woolies car park nearby so accessibility is easy.
In short, recommended to check it out if you're nearby.
Heard a lot about the Chicken Pho, something I had never tried before. I've been to plenty of Pho restaurants and there was nothing over and above about this place which was a little disappointing. Still, couldn't fault the broth/soup in any way. Definitely want to come back and try the Beef Pho and see how that compares.
Service was very good.
Also, this was the first Pho restaurant I have been to that put's the bean sprouts, mint etc. in the soup. That decision should always be left up to the customer!
