The calamari ring is pretty fresh. Batter is not very thick which is nice. Good grab and go food. They tried to add salt but I could barely taste any. @Xihuahua 🐶 liked it.
Cute little shop at the basement the QVB connecting the station underground
A perfect place for people to carry snacks and lunch on the go.
The fish box was just amazing And in love with it already.
The seafood stick was my favourite.
There isn't any sitting space so you need to carry your food.
Tops. And very good value for this part of town at that.
It's takeaway only though as Luneburger won't let you sit at their tables - not LFS's fault.
I had fish and chips and it tasted decent, but a little flavorless without the sauce and a bit hard and rubbery. The staff were great and the service was quick. Would order here again sometime
Average seafood place with some good combos. Everything was fresh and tasted good enough, not very oily at all. My only gripe would be that the chips lack flavour but they have packets of salt on the counter. They seem to be quite busy around lunch times so it's good that the turnover is high. Being so busy perhaps is why my server seemed quite disinterested and curt.
I have been coming into this shop for many years and have always found the meals very filling to the point were I can't finish my meal. The portions of food were large and so tasty, the meals are good value for money, they are fresh and I highly recommend this little fish shoppe.
Located between QVB and Town Hall Station this takeaway only shop caters well for those in need of a simple grilled fish, chips and salad. I've had it many times. Seems to be one of my comfort foods for lunch. There's no seating so you have to venture upstairs to around Town Hall or my preference has always been to sit on level 2 of the QVB. Grilled fish, chips and Greek salad ($9.50) has a light dressing and decent size fillet of fish.
I never had a bad experience from this fish and chip shop inside QVB, I loved it so much for either lunch or after work snack. Unfortunately I went on a diet and had to keep my distance to deep fried food. So when the diet finished and I happened to walk pass it on the way to the city, I couldn't resist and bought calamari rings and fish cocktails. I only ordered 3 calamari and 1 fish cocktail, but ended up getting 6 rings, in total it only cost me $5.4. Maybe because it was after 5pm and they wanted to rid of leftovers. It tasted just as good as I remembered. The calamari was chunky and meaty, so was the fish cocktail. None of them were greasy and the batter was thin and crispy. Oh only if it wasn't that bad for me, I could have it every day!
Incredibly fresh, reliable and always a friendly smile :) have been coming here for years. Excellent value for the quality. Thank you Little Fish Shoppe!
A nice authentic fish shop located on the bottom level of the QVB building (Town Hall end). I've had individual meals and corporate catering from here quite a few times, and both options were really nice. The catering was a big hit in the office, and the menu is quite reasonably priced. TIP: I would recommend getting a few extra potato scollops with your meal. ENJOY!
I work in the QVB and this place is now my favourite place to buy food ! Always fresh , super tasty and really genuine friendly service , the spring rolls and garlic & lemon calamari are to die for !!! ❤️❤️❤️
A little fish & chips shop located close to town hall and QVB underground walkway, although most of the menu items are deep fried but you can still taste the freshness of the produce, price is very friendly also compare to other seafood place at Sydney CBD. Great place to visit for a snack, loved it!
Awesome people, wicked fish and chips. $10 pack is stunning value 🏆
The best fish and chip in town, service was excellent, fast and friendly.
You really can tell the difference between good fish cooked well and here is where you'll find it.
3.7 - I would have rated them higher last month but have noticed lately that they haven't been taking the scales off their salmon and I get a rude shock when I try to eat the skin. (I usually order salmon on a bed of veggies and lately, the skin hasn't been crispy) and have had time to notice that the prices that each person charges are inconsistent. Looking at the menu doesn't help either! The potato scallops are a bit oily - they need it to be dryer) but they do have delicious spring rolls. A healthy lunch option (if you don't get the carbs and crispy fried foods)! Some of the staff are friendly and Some have no expression. Some take your card to tap without telling you the amount!
