A small and nice cafe
Friendly staff
My cappuccino was fine but the cup was really cute
Maybe next time I will try their breakfast. Their menu looks great.

After hearing one of my work mates rave about the matcha latte and coffee here, I finally gave this cafe a try just before heading to work.

I was quite disappointed, the matcha latte was a little watery and not very sweet at all. However, the matcha taste was still present. The coffee art was also on point and served in a huge traditional cup for $6 but $5.50 takeaway. There wasn't a huge selection of the menu especially for the breakfast options which was either toast or a bacon & egg roll

My friend has gone in the afternoons and never in the morning. There was a slight rush in the morning so the barista could've rushed it hence the outcome of the matcha latte. I would want to come here again in the afternoon when it is more quiet and order the katsu sandwiches and soba noodles to eat.

This neat and inviting little coffee and treats place has a Japanese theme with a variety of matcha drinks.
As a Friday breakfast destination the menu was a little limited so it was a bacon and egg roll for me and peanut butter toast for my delightful companion. Snuck in a pastry treat and of a peppermint chocolate tart with the second coffee which was quite nice. Coffee is good here and I really like the ambience and friendly service. A wider menu would have be back more often but it's understandable it is as it is with the space very limited.

A great little cafe in the city for breakfast. The banana bread with ricotta is a delight whilst the chocolate tart is devine. The only thing that disappointment was the green tea latte as the flavour didn't come through. It isn't major and would definitely go back.

One of the best green tea places I've been to! Their portions are decent and the green tea cake was fluffy and light. Their matcha latte comes in a pretty big cup if you eat in so its worth the price. Will be coming back more often :)

A new gem in the CBD. They make a mean matcha latte with some of the cutest latte art! Filter coffee is made like fine art. The pork katsu sandwich is so delicious with the thick soft bread, crunchy, juicy pork katsu & that magic sauce. A couple of days a week you get to order delicious cream filled donuts from Donut Papii. The rose & ube ones are the best. Cant wait to go back and try their salmon soba! The space is small but filled with love and care from the staff. Love these kinds of discoveries!

I tried the soy matcha latte the other day and it was quite enjoyable. Matcha taste wasn't too strong but good nonetheless. And the latte art was adorable!

Didn't try the pork katsu sandwich, but the couple next to me ordered it, and it smelled AMAZING. Like really really good to the point I was tempted to order it too although I had had lunch an hour ago. Will have to keep it in mind to try if in the area again.

It's quite a small cafe seating only about 10. So not the best place to sit comfortably to have a chat or go on your laptop.

Ah another heaven for matcha lover for the cafe is full of matcha goodness! Yup Another Japanese Fusion cafe hits the town! And boy I love it! So many goodies to choose from! Smoked salmon soba, pork Katsu sandwich, matcha donut from Donut Papi, matcha frappe (yum👍👍) , and the pandan waffle with vanilla ice cream with matcha sauce OMG I am in heaven! Plus their soy matcha latte is THAT good yes!

Grabbed the matcha frappe for $8.50, slightly expensive. Liked the toppings-fresh cream, blueberries, strawberries, pocky and matcha powder. Recommended for any matcha lover.

Recently opened little cafe on Kent street to help combat those monday blues or 3pm slumps. This place has a really good matcha piccolo's and other matcha inspired items including a frappe! Their matcha game is on point!

A japanese inspired cafe including niftly cutlery and crockery. They also have some tonkatstu sangas and soba noodles just to name a few and even stock Donutpapi donuts which are pretty good.

I only tried their matcha picoolo and a few donuts so will have to come back to sample these sangas. Check it out for yourself!

A cute little cafe in the CBD specialising in Japanese matcha desserts.  If you are a matcha fan, this should be on your list to check out.  I tried the matcha tart and donuts, they are both very good and strong in matcha flavour.  The service is friendly too. I will be back for more...

Anyone who love matcha, you should taste this :D
But, when I went there, I just can only bought 1, because it's Pre-order system (I don't know about that)
Hehehe... I'm lucky, I can get one of the donut :)
But yeah... I want to taste the other food as well, I'll be back :)

If you're a Japanese food lover and into matcha than this cute little cafe is right up your alley. They have soba noodles, tonkatsu sangas, pandan pancakes and delicious matcha frappes. And they also sell Donutpapi donuts which are soooo addictive!

The brekky situation is looking up, with a few different options now on the menu, including smoothie bowls. There were also some beautiful looking little cakes but it was one of those days where I managed to retain some degree of self control, so refrained from ordering those for breakfast! Not everything was available but I enjoyed my pretty in pink smoothie bowl, which the dragon fruit lent a colourful edge to. It wasn't a substantial option (I took early lunch because I was so ravenous) so could be a good idea to order something with it.

End March 2016
Kahii has been popping up all over my Instagram so I thought I'd drop by for brekky. Short story, not much happening. Long story, they had reasonably good coffee but very little in the way of food - toast and some uninteresting looking muffins. The insta pix looked much more appetising (Japanese matcha vibe) so maybe they transform themselves later in the day into somewhere that would be worth a trip and a higher score, entirely possible. The space is attractive if small - I counted 12 stools with customers playing musical chairs as they were vacated. They're new so these could just be teething issues - will drop by in a few weeks and see. Watch this space.
