The cafe is one of very few good ones on campus. Staff is friendly and meals are reasonably fast. Their coffee is the best on campus I reckon.
Their staple lunch item is a selection of 5 pasta bowls with herb bread. Very filling and tasty with home style sauce. They have pre-made salad from the fridge. Can take away or ask them to heat it and add some proteins. Their peri peri chicken is not tender at all, hope they improve it. I had many omelettes at this place (breakfast stops at 11am), some more photos to come later. 4 eggs is a lot according to omelette connoisseur Xihuahua 🐶..
Remember to add them on fb if you are a regular as they frequently post their special dishes or deals. Lots of freebies! Chilly oil and parmesan dust at the window for extra flavor!

Perhaps it's because I can't deal with spice, but I was the only one out of my group that thought the pasta sauce was a little spicy. Still a delicious sauce and tastes good in any way! Apparently if you add chilli (which is offered for free), you'll get a lovely hot arrabiata. Comes with some grilled bread (supposedly garlic, but it's definitely more olive oil then garlic. Still good though). I love some good handmade food, and am surprised to find this quality on USYD's campus. Service is brisk and may come off a tad aggressive but when you consider the speed at which they pump out food, forgivable. I am a fan of the large selection of drinks, desserts, and meals-to-go (i.e salads, pastas, sandwiches). If you try one thing, try the cheeseburger with bacon. My god, I could marry this burger. Truly dangerous and addicting stuff! Juicy beef, crispy bacon, perfectly melted cheese (when it gets a little crunchy mmm), and the wonderfully acidic bite of pickles to cut through everything. The burger is actually refreshing, despite the richness of everything else. The bread holds up well to the sauce and maintains integrity, saving white shirts everywhere. The atmosphere is great, but the constant shouting of order numbers ruins this and brings about many headaches with the ceaseless nature. If the weather permits, I suggest enjoying the great food out on the soccer or on the steps of the Education Building/Annex.

Stumbled literally into this place looking for my first coffee for the morning and I am glad I did. Not only is the coffee great (a flat white in my case) but I tried their bacon and egg breakfast burger which was also great.
Service is brisk and not particularly friendly and the surroundings let it down a bit which is why it gets a 4 and not a 5.

Its cozy and lovely in the early morning when sitting at the outdoor and the sun ☀️ is just right ~~~ (But, my ‘Big Cheese’ told me it’s normally quite congested when it’s 8. Oh yea! There is a football field (I suppose it’s football field but I’m not so sure) in front of the cafe~ so nice view~~~ I feel it will be prettier when the jacaranda season comes.

First time to try an omelette which cooks like pancake 🥞 and I was shocked that they actually use 4 eggs! Lol 😂 yummy yummy 😋 I still feel full afternoon when I had one omelette at 7:30am. Except the quantity, the price and quality will not let your down!
Coffee-cannot complain , standard flavour. But, sure?look at their cup?! Looked like a nanny’s hand-made coffee!

Ordered their cakes and cheese platter for a gathering. They delivered on time and the guy was friendly. Everyone loves their cheese platter. Lotsa variety of cheese and the crackers are nice too. Recommended for gatherings or celebrations.
A very unique vibe. No surprise they have been around for decades - the coffee and food is second to none on campus! Service is prompt. Staff are loud, but are actually friendly if you talk to them and allow the place to keep moving. Highly recommend the omelette no. 2 - a welcome alternative to the typical omelette and is very filling indeed. The pastas are full of taste and have appropriate texture too. The low pricing spoils the students that frequent the place. They could start using those wireless vibrating things for food orders, as it isn't uncommon when people take others' orders by accident and will also stop a crowd hovering around the kitchen! The cash-only rule (a typical Sydney thing) can be a nuisance - they seem to rather hire a huge ATM machine instead of an EFTPOS terminal, which always baffles me.

There's a reason this page is filled with negative reviews about lack of table service, cash only payments, brusque service, and shouting staff -- quite simply, the food and coffee here is good enough that well over a thousand customers come through the relatively small space every single day.
It's not crowded, it's bustling. The place is overflowing during semester, and yet the queues are always short, because the staff are willing to ruffle a few feathers in order to keep their cafe running smoothly. It can be confronting at first, but don't take it personally if someone yells at you -- pay a visit during uni break, when there's maybe 10 people in the cafe instead of 100, and you'll meet some of the friendliest and nicest staff in the business.
Coffee is both the best and cheapest on campus (though no access discount for student union members). Food is pricey, but high quality and hand made. There's a lot of self-service, but there's also no shortage of folks willing to sprinkle their own cheese on their pasta, pick their own sandwich from the display, or grab their own knife and fork for their bacon and eggs in order to eat here. For good reason, too.
For my money it's the best place to get food and coffee on campus. If you're lucky enough to visit when it's quiet, the ambience is nice. If you're coming at 1pm in the middle of semester, expect to have to walk to one of the countless benches / tables / etc in the nearby uni to sit and eat.
Ralphs is one of the best places on the usyd campus. Absolutely love the iced chocolate. They have a great range of food ranging from sandwiches and pastas which all taste great!
Best iced chocolate on Campus - absolutely love the dollop of hazelnut gelato on top! The chicken kebab is really good too. Great range of sandwiches, burgers and pastas. Sadly they don't accept Access.
This place has the best ice coffee and ice chocolate. They add their own homemade gelato and it is truly the best. So creamy and delicious!You can get a large cup for $5.
Their pastas are really cheap and come with either herb or garlic bread. Both the pastas in the photos were $8.50. They were good and filling. They're also generous with the toppings (had the pasta with Calabrian sausage, and the pasta with ricotta) and you can add as much Parmesan as you want.
I rate them highly because they have my favourite ice coffee and ice chocolate, the food is great value, and the staff are friendly.
Had lunch there this arvo, the Big Ralph Burger was superb at $12.80 each. Nice big portions and walked out there very full. No access card discounts.
9/10. Great coffee (around $3.80 for a large one) and food - particularly the almond biscuits, which are nutty, buttery, salty and not too sweet. Service is also good - but on account of its popularity it can get extremely busy and queues are common.
