I have eaten at Thai Thai several times since moving to Sydney late last year. It has become a regular choice for me because of their wonderful, flavourful food, friendly, homely service and cozy decor.

Thai Thai serves traditional Thai cuisine and some of my favourite dishes are the Masaman Curry, which is beautifully rich and bold with tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef as well as the Chicken Pad-Thai, which is my go-to lunch feast. The spring rolls are also a fantastic addition to any lunchtime order.

Thanks Thai Thai for the great food!

Love this little place for quality authentic and inexpensive lunch meals. The pork Larb is awesome and the service friendly. The menu is quite extensive so I plan to expand my choices next time.

Thai Thai is a same same but different hole-in-the-wall joint with a solid Thai following on Botany Road Alexandria/Redfern.  Our friend Rohan is a used idea salesman. He has a beard and listens to ABC Radio National. Most of his used ideas are of an abstract scientific nature or involve drinking until falling down. But occasionally he comes up with something useful, such as trying out Thai Thai on Botany Road in Alexandria\Redfern.

What a surprising little gem of a place, their tomyum noodles and red curry stir fry are my go to dishes.

Sydney classic Thai. I have been going to this restaurant for almost 2 decades. Prior to the opening of all the new Thai places in the city around Pitt St and environs, Thai Thai was a rare treat for those seeking an authentic Thai taste, i.e. not much sugar added for the Western palate. A Thai mate loves the "Boat Noodle" soup. I call it "Dirt Soup" as that is what it looks like. It's made from blood - eeck - but he loves it and so do many other customers apparently. I like the simple "Kapow Gai" (chicken chilli basil) dish which they make very well here too. Lunch special are expensive at $9 compared to all the nearby $6 bargains in Newtown. Simple decor, great food. Be careful with expensive lunch specials which aren't that special $$ wise anyway. Highly recommended.

Friendly enough stuff and decent prices but nothing wow-ed the pants off of us. For example, the fried chicken wings were literally just.... fried chicken wings 😂 serving size was ample and this place is cash only

Nice little Thai place, reminds me of street food in Thailand in a good way. Great duck noodle soup. Chili basil very good too. Seating is limited and atmosphere is cozy. You definitely go here for the food not the ambience.

This place has been around for a while and still it continues to dish out authentic dishes. Tried the chilli basil beef plus steam rice and a fried egg. The flavour was intense, spicy tangy sweet, definitely cleared the sinuses. The lunch time specials are $12 each so value for money and delicious.

Don't let the look of the place fool you. Much love goes into the cooking. Lovely staff and one of the most authentic Thai in my 27 years experience living in Sydney. Boat Noodles, Tom Yum Noodles, Seafood Fried Rice, Three Flavored Fish and Lard Na (with your choice of meat) are my favorites!!
