Sadly, our experience at the Conservatory was very average. We arrived and none of the staff bothered to greet us, even though a waiter walked right in front of us, actually cutting us off. With an amazing view of Hyde Park and an amazing eye for comfort and class, the Conservatory Bar is a must do in Sydney. The bar has a fantastic menu (plenty of seafood) and seasonal cocktail menus. With table service the venue is sure to meet all your needs and more
If you don't mind paying $26 for a sandwich....ok, so it had crab and lobster in it and it was tasty but ridiculously priced but then again it was decorated with gold leaf....oh and the waiter had no idea it was a sandwich, he thought it was a platter! Joey helped me to organize a Client Christmas function in there, and it was amazing. I had to do everything remotely (which makes it harder not knowing the venue or trying the food), but thanks to his help, all the guests loved. In terms of communication and organizing, it was great! The Conservatory Bar is completely uninspiring. Open plan and lacking any charm, it is largely unwelcoming. When we were there it took 20 minutes to get our drinks even though we were the only people in the bar. When the drinks are some of the most expensive in the city and the service is that bad,
