Food beautifully presented and very tasty, the toast with ricotta, fruit and honey is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The fried eggs with provolone cheese 🧀 was also a good choice not overbearing in flavour but really tasty. Coffee was also excellent. Big thumbs up 👍.
My first time visit to this cafe with a local gem vibe. Great looking products in the store area, freshly baked goods on display and a menu that aims to please everyone. Babyccino ($1.50) is served as all froth in a paper cup and a pretty marshmallow on the side. These guys know how to please. If they handed out colouring pencils and sheets would bring the experience to the next level. Baby Hot Chocolate ($2) is served just warm to Miss 4 year old so she won't burn herself. My Chai Latte ($4) is quite nice with a pleasant and enjoyable flavour. Scrambled eggs and toast ($11.50) is cooked well with free range eggs. Iggy's bread is legendary. Would have loved a bit of butter served on the side though. Service was friendly and there's a fair amount of seating inside and out. Free street parking in the area if you're lucky enough to find some.
Favoloso is a gem of a cafe and deli, set on the corner of Belgrave and Murray Street, up the back of Bronte, along from the primary school. We recently returned for the Garden Party on a beautiful Autumn Saturday. They have opened their Garden, where you can sit out with your takeaway coffee and enjoy the newly landscaped and safely-fenced garden. It truly is a secret hideaway! It was great to see so many locals with their families enjoying what the cafe has to offer! We stayed for lunch and, as always, it was delicious, fresh and you could taste the love that goes into the preparation of each dish!It really is a community hub - and they serve great coffee!!
If the opposite of suck is un-suck, Favoloso totally un-sucks! It's just a short walk from bronte beach or Bondi road this cafe serves up fresh Italian style food and consistent great coffee.
No matter if I'm running in for a take away coffee and panini, or a long breakfast, the service is alway impeccable and the staff are extremely friendly, Polite and fast!
I'd say their specialty is eggs and panini's but the menu is always changing, and sometimes the daily special is just too good to pass up.
Oh and meatballs I forgot the meatballs! Damn fine meatballs!
In summary, Favoloso is easily the best cafe in the area and defiantly worth a trip!
It is easily my new favourite local a
The staff are extremely friendly and quick with orders and service
Great little local with delicious Italian food and great coffee. It gets really busy sometimes but they try to make sure everyone is looked after quickly. The meatball panini is a must try as is the healthy breakfast bowl. Green smoothie is good too. We generally stop by most weekends with the kids and they are always friendly and accommodating.
A great honest little cafe with delicious italian breakfasts, nice coffee and friendly staff. A nice little community place loved by the locals. They stock some interesting deli items including iggy's bread so you can avoid the queue!
This place is truly the best place in sydney. Home style cooking and the friendliest staff around. A home Away from home 5 minutes from Bronte beach. The coffee is top notch and the barista knew his stuff. I'll be back any day.
Delicious Italian Food. I stumbled across this place as I was driving to Bronte on the weekend and the food was fantastic. I had the spaghetti with meatballs, and my husband had a salami panini and both were delicious. They had toys which kept my little one entertained. The service was friendly and I really liked the deli and fruit shop - especially the old italian guy bringing the fruit in! Would go back again.
A little italian cafe in the backstreets of Bronte!. Decor: Cafe style. Black floor with touches of red. Wooden tables. Outside seating. Half is dedicated to a shop selling deli style mainly italian produce as well as Iggy's bread
Food: Pannini, salads, tarts, pies, cakes and italian biscuits
Service: Friendly but can be intermittent at times
Suitable for: Everyone
Value for Money: Good
Would we go back? Yes
Ciao Bronte. It's been 2 weeks since I had one of the specials, the lamb pasta, and I'm still thinking about it. It was superb! Tender, full of rich flavours and cooked to perfection.
I have been back numerous times since. I love venues that are in touch with the locals and the community and Favoloso ticks all the boxes. It's a little place that has a lot going on. No visit to Bronte is complete without a pitstop to Favoloso for breakfast, lunch or to quickly grab something for home.
Great italian cafe/deli. Come on a week-end for some home cooked lunches that would warm any heart. Sit outside in the sun and watch and ppl watch with a good coffee.
A local favorite has been recently refurbished and as expected warmly embraced by the locals . The coffee is good as ever and the deli offers good and quality support . A place where you can relax or just a quick take away .
Croissant availability: 3 plain croissant and scroll (some other options available but not plenty) - muffin ricotta and berries
Croissant freshness and crispiness: 4 - the scroll did not look great but the taste was very good and very crispy
Warmed up? No, not offered
Serving time: cappuccino arrived a long time after the sweets
Other sweet food availability: 5 - cupcakes, banana bread and other healthy sweets. This is also an Italian deli so you can buy cheese and some frozen ready dishes (e.g. Lasagna and slow cooked stews)
Spot in the sun? Yes, both outside and inside on cold days on a quiet street
This is my local takeaway which I’ve been welcomed to by name since they bravely began. Owners, staff & chefs are brilliant! Eat in or takeaway a large variety home cooked meals. Enjoy bacon & eggs, healthy but not boring salads, DIVINE soups, sweet treats, seasonal fruit / veg & mouthwatering hot meals with an Italian twist. VERY happy this cafe continues to be a success b/c their freezer section keeps my family fed 🤫 Thanks for welcoming dog owners by providing a hitching post, water & treats.
Very friendly, good coffee and good quality products. Nice atmosphere to sit down and have a chat.
My daily for coffee and quick emailing in the morning (free WiFi). Cherry danish, savoury tart or their vegan green bowl are delish. Pick up Italian groceries and pre-cooked lasagne (veg option), cannelloni, soups and other stuff in the freezer section.
(Plus they have cards, gourmet biscuits and a few other items for when you get stuck and need a present/Kris Kringle at the last moment 🙋🏻♀️😬)
Highly recommend
Oh yes. If you know, you know.
Local favourite from day dot. Tucked away off the main drag.
To be honest, the coffee is not the best. (sorry!). That is why only 4 stars (otherwise a decisive 5). But it tastes better due to the cute little place that this is (so you'll barely notice!). But to be real, why not try to mix up the coffee beans or machine? You have some stiff competition for coffee nearby and all the locals will thank you for it! Come on, give it a go! :)
Great coffee, wonderful atmosphere!
